The space is inviting, and those sofas are beautiful. That's where I first used my now trademarked line (see my SF review of Montauk): "So comfortable, your @ss will never forget". Well, there is some truth to that as I ended up buying one of their sofas in SF a couple of years later. Not cheap, not overly funky, but sleek and uber comfortable.

That's great that you can run to your book and look everything up for me but you have what a dozen pcs of furniture in the store?! You should know everything! This furniture is 5-6k and up! You need to know your stuff. It's not my job to hunt through your store or fabrics to find out their details. Know your product! Asking for a high traffic or a pet/kid friendly fabric should be such an easy question.... You mr sales associate had 1 suggestion! Fing 1 suggestion! And it was a bloody pattern! All this begs the question, are you sofas the same quality as your sales associates knowledge? Yikes!

Some sofas were comfortable and beautiful and some tables and set ups were shocking and comical. No one objects to you trying out the sofas and looking. I especially liked their mirrored glass coffee table. There was a sliding door on the side of the rectangle to allow you display items inside. And I loved their layered bookcase. It looked like someone glued multiple boxes to create a unique bookcase. I would recommend coming in for design ideas. One problem I had with the store was that nothing had a price tag except a couple of decanters ($800). We had no idea how much the sofa or any of the furniture would cost. Also, the staff was scarce. He was also incredibly detailed in marking sure he had everything he needed from me. I sent him some picture with a dresser blocking a power outlet I had forgotten about, and he knew to make sure to ask me if there was such an outlet behind it. He also responded within 24 hours. The Unit was shipped on time, and handed off to a great freight service. Usually the last mile is a problem for some furniture services because of the service the company chooses. I can tell Vitsoe makes sure every part of their customer lifecycle is taken cart of. The unit itself is beautiful. I remember first seeing it in the Dieter Rams SFMOMA exhibit years ago, and have wanted it ever since. It's well constructed and timeless, though I imagine if you're considering buying it you already know what you're getting.

Nightmare comes after they went completely silent on expected delivery windows, which is 2-3 weeks. I had to chase them after 4 weeks and they found out they just forgot to schedule delivery. Ok, delivery scheduled and they did a half ass job. One of the light on the bed board is broken and the guy promised they come back next day to fix it, which didn't happen. After waiting for another 2 days, completely silent of course, I reached out and they were "looking into it". Now it's another week and they are silent with my 5K brand new "broken" bed in my apartment. Now I am pissed and asking for refund, so the drama for a simple bed purchase is still going on. You guys can figure out whether or not you want to buy here.

Like many others, I love the idea of all natural bedding, plus the fact that each layer of their bedding ('boxspring', mattress, 'featherbed topper' etc).... each layer is covered in a removeable/washable heavy cotton(?) cover. We tried laying on one of the beds, and, 'yes', it surely felt comfortable. I also tried out one of the pillows which had like a grid of squares in the center of the pillow top. It sure did feel nice. Out of curiosity, I then asked 'how much would the entire bed setup, like this one, cost, for a queen-size, with delivery to Astoria? The woman tallied it up and said "$14,000." I gotta say...I was rather shocked...I thought maybe $6,000, for a fancy mattress setup like this. But fourteen thousand?? That got me to thinking...if I ever did want to up my sleeping game one day, I think instead of buying their entire setup, I might just splurge on their 'featherbed' topper (that comes with a heavy-duty, removeable/washable cover), and maybe one of those pillows....

After work one night, I searched on the internet for NYC/Westchester design firms that may be able to assist. I found that most firms wanted $2000 just to create a design for me. I am so glad I discovered Bark. I put my requirements in and found MCollection & Design through Bark. Michelle called me the next day (the MOST pleasant, friendly and responsive person ever!) and she explained that they could help me design the space for $500 and also help in the search for the sofabed, rugs, desks, bookcases etc. I would just purchase the bulk of the items from her firm. This was perfect for me because I have a very demanding job and didn't want to spend hours on my own looking for items and then purchase them and find out that what I bought didn't fit in the space-- thus wasting money. I gave Michelle my budget, my color scheme and sent her some examples of couches and desk styles that I liked. The next day I got emails of sourced items that she thought I would like! Just great response time! I liked many of the items that she found and those which I didn't, Michelle was happy to give me more choices. In addition, MCollection was able to take my floorplan and electronically show me different scenarios for the furniture layouts. The furniture was conveniently sent to my apartment and MCollection also connected me to a handyman who put my desk and bookcases together. He even hung my artwork. (I had had a difficult time finding someone who had a COI which my building requires). Furthermore, during the process, I was also assigned a designer, Shawn (also the most pleasant responsive person), who came to my apartment to check on the progress of the project. They were able to find a queen sized sofa bed that fit beautifully in the space along with the desk and bookcases I wanted. Within approximately 30 days, I had my office set up! I am so glad that Bark led me to MCollection. It saved me hours in searching for a design firm that would fit my needs. I got professionals who helped me design and source my office/guest room just the way I wanted it. The process was very collaborative and fast! Michelle, Shawn and her team at MCollection and Design are pleasant, responsible professionals, eager to assist you in your design needs. Michelle was amazing -- even though I wasn't purchasing directly from M Collection, she contacted Gus Modern to sleuth out the make of the fabric and the cleaning methods that would be safe to try, and she kindly kept me updated on status along the way. They seem nice at first but are shady as hell…read more They sold me a loveseat that wasn't really a love sea it was two single chairs pushed together and the material didn't even match. They were nice until I wanted my refund for the loveseat then they told me I would either get $100 in store credit or nothing. Not to mention the loveseat was poorly installed there were nails sticking out of the under storage on both sides. They didn't want to give me my money back until I took them to court. If I could give them no stars I would.
