Especially reassuring was their ability to answer questions about the current global supply chain issues and how Blu Dot was adapting to them. They were very responsive to questions and requests at all times. Of course, we really love what we bought from them as well. Their contemporary modern style isn't for everyone and they are not cheap. But it was a great fit for us, especially given our bad experience with a competitor and because we were able to buy during their annual sale. The NoMad showroom is appointment only but we never had any issue with securing an appointment.

I purchased an expensive reclining sofa from them and one of the switches which raises and lowers the sofa broke. When I reached out to the store, I was told to contact their repair service in New Jersey where the phone rings and rings and nobody picks up. You then must leave a message...After several messages, sending them a photo, and paying in advance, I finally arranged to have a technician come and replace the switch. When the technician arrived he said he was sorry but he didn't have the switch and I would be called to reschedule. He left after only 10-15 minutes. That was on Dec 16th, 2025. After never hearing back, I reached out on nine (9!) separate occasions and no one ever returned my calls. I then had to go back to their Union Square location in NYC where I had previously emailed with their "customer service" only to be told that someone from the repair service would call me the following day. When that never happened (surprise!) I emailed Ms. Walker in "customer service" who wrote back: "Good Afternoon As per the service department, we re not able to order the needed piece. Regards" I then inquired: "Would Raymour and Flanigan have any suggestions how I might go about getting my sofa repaired?' And the reply came back: "You can check on google" That was yesterday, January 9, 2026. Oh, and one other thing: When the sofa was originally delivered, it came in black, not the mahogany brown color that had been ordered. Having had it carried up four flights of stairs, assembled and installed, I decided not to make a case and have to do it all over again. The next time, I'll go Macy's on Herald Square.

The entrance lobby is big with 2 elevators and escalators. The thing about this Target is that it is extremely small and is not a super store like the ones in the suburbs. It's cool how they made space for this Target in Times Square. They do not have the $1, $3, and $5 value item section in this location. I wish they have that. There are many good steals with that. They have many self checkout kiosks in this location and a ramp to the food pantry towards the back of the store. They have many travel essentials by the checkout section for tourists since Times Square got a lot of tourists.

I only go here if no other local Target has the chosen item in stock and walk there from East 23rd(saves the fare to go further away). When you go to the order pick-up desk, there is non one there, they are filling a pick-up order for a future order and won't put it aside for a live customer, OR it takes a while since they will involve a new employee and teach them how to process your order, which takes 3X as long. The staff just does NOT know they are in Manhattan and speed and courteousness( yes, Manhattanites expect this, too!) while concluding an e-order pickup is paramount!

A few days after the order I realized I had made a mistake - I ordered a dual fuel wood/natural gas oven, when I actually needed dual fuel wood/propane. I called and spoke to Luca who immediately made the change in their system. The oven was delivered the next day and the delivery person was extremely courteous and helpful. Again, I made another mistake. I forgot to order the stand to put the pizza oven on. I called Luca again and he took payment for the stand and offered to waive the FedEx costs since I paid for assembly initially. That would have been great customer service already, but to go a step further, Luca called me back and said they would put it on a truck and deliver it that same day. Such a great experience!

Surprised to see some Squishmallows peeking out in between other plushies. So, I was trying to reach for the ones from the top shelf. Staff from afar saw me struggling to reach but didn't offer any help + kept looking on and went back to chatting/joking with a coworker. This was around 9:30pm on a Sunday evening. I guess just a minor hiccup there, I will let it pass. I LOVE the concept here. Every ten weeks, they showcase ten new artists. Everything is for sale. I liked some of the art, and bought two beanies for my kids. Bonus: if they don't like them, I do. They were reasonably priced and a nice thick knit. The owners, Tom and Henri, are gracious, friendly, and personable. Their enthusiasm is contagious. The artists are carefully chosen, and the pieces curated and beautifully displayed. I signed up for their email list, and hope to return.
