I went in for regular maintenance on my 2023 Passport. Not only was I met with the rudest and most useless advisor Conor Kearns but they left oil all over my driver cabin, destroyed a piece of trim off my window, and tried to upsell me on stuff my vehicle did not need. On top of that they tried to charge me for the piece they broke. This dealer and its patrons are not good at what they do. Plus the service manager is even more useless than the advisor was, just siding with the advisor without actually knowing or looking into anything. Awful service! I went to Joyce Honda for rear brakes, arriving at 1:45. Using a service special that included installing new brake pads and cutting the rotors, I received a text from the service advisor at 3:50 - 2+ hours later - advising me that my rotors could be cut, and asking if I still wanted the service. I texted back a polite - yes - wondering, though, why does he think I am here? I was then told by the "brilliant" worker that it would be another 2 hours before it is done. Shady as Hell! Came in knowing what I needed done with a service ad for rear brake pad replacement and rotor resurface if necessary for $300. This was a pre-booked appointment and they were not that busy so you would think it would take them 15 to 30 mins to get back to you on the inspection to get back to you to honor the ad special or before they do any work at all. It took them over 1 1/2 hours to tell me that the brake work was going to be about 7 times the cost of what I came to intentionally scheduled to have done because I also needed to bleed out the old brake oil ( see circled cost of estimate) photo to follow. I will put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau on the Joyce Honda Service Department for hustling their customers to commit to items of work they do not need, so they can charge what ever they want thinking the customers will not catch them. Unfortunately, this dealer service center has gone way down hill. I been buying cars from Joyce Honda for years and they always had a great service dept......."Not Any More". My 2010 Honda Crv was at 250k serviced here every 5k and my 2015 Accord As well. When I bought my 2017 civic in 2019. I noticed that the service writers, Ray, Toni and a few others were gone and the service manager was new. Now poor service, disorganized, not friendly. I just brought my Honda Crv for service and specifically told the person to who came out to talk with me (after waiting 20 minutes) that I was replacing my 2 front tires with an alignment and all the rims are perfect and to be careful not to scratch them. Car dealers... where you expect to see only the bad reviews. People never leave good reviews of car dealers. So okay, a few years ago I was in a bind with a Focus with a bad transmission (this is how they all were made) and needed a replacement. Joyce was the closest Honda dealer. I walked in, simultaneously trying to walk off the lot with a car and not project desperation. I didn't get a great deal on the new car, but they gave me more on the trade-in than I probably deserved, so not bad overall. Their financing program was easy, they weren't pushy on the sale. Fast forward to service. That's make or break, and here, it's make. I was offered 10 free oil changes with my new car. First time I came here for one, they had no record of it, but they gave me one anyway. By the third time, I finally gave them the name of my salesperson and the questions have ceased. But in all that time... they believed me. I applaud that. The service prices have been very reasonable, the technicians have been honest and told me what I did or didn't need. I'm spending far less on my Honda at the dealer than I did for an independent service location with any of my previous cars. They've been willing to drive me several miles to my workplace if I had to come in on a weekday, and then come pick me up again. Very strongly appreciate that. Made an appointment for brake service based on the technician's recommendation during a recent oil change. After waiting 30mins in the combined bottlenecked 'appointments' and 'express oil change' lines, I left my car with an estimated 2hr wait time. Six hours later, I call for an update only to be told by the technician, "Oh, I tried calling you several times!" (he didn't), "It turns out you don't need brakes at all, come pick up your car." During previous services, Joyce Honda has failed to properly replace the oil cap resulting in a large leak on my driveway, as well as spilled transmission and brake fluid on part of the engine, which they generously cleaned after telling me the car could've caught fire if I'd let it go(?!). Three strikes later, I'm finding a mechanic who doesn't treat the car I need to work like a science experiment. read more

Service review: This was my go to Honda dealer for 5 years. I've got so disappointed few days ago. Absolutely lazy. Rep. (Jonathan) Asked Me to put the tag on the mirror and ask me to read odometer for him. That's his job. Never saw this guy before. Must be the new. Or I missed him. One of the worst rep. That I had. So unprofessional, he forgot what I told him to check on my car. He said, it will be done in 3 hrs. Bullshxx. Drove from out of state to make the deal only to be told by a salesman and manager that this should not have happened, and that they have no reason to sell it for any less than 4000 above MSRP. As a courtesy as to not waste my time, they offered me a low ball offer on my trade in which they made sure to deduct $480 for the tires as well. I would rate a 0 if I had that option. Back when we bought our 2013 Honda Ex in May 2013, they put it in writing via email that they would sell it to us for $22,900 "AFTER" taxes and fees. I said to myself, wow thats an awsome deal. I went to other neighboring Hondas and the closest I could get it was $23,000 "BEFORE" taxes and fees, so we went ahead with Joyce. We went through the formalities of the deal and after my wife signed the forms, I saw the receipt, said $23,190. I said to myself ehhh it's only $290 more. BUT! as I kept reading down the contract, $23,190 was the price before taxes and fees and the final cost was $25,954.20!! #$%@! Talk about buyer's remorse! We basically got played for $3,054.20 more than what was agreed upon. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE US!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BTW!! Took the very ancient antique Accord here to see what the "Maintenance Required" light was all about. From beginning to end, I was nothing but impressed. My appointment time was honored, then John in the service department called me to follow up, told me what was being done, including many complimentary checks. I even got an oil change, and enjoyed a cold beverage in the lounge. When I got the bill, the price was so good, I paid and sped away before they realized their mistake! Great job, team! Been a happy Joyce client for 5 years since I left the lot with my 2012 Civic. I have always relied on their service center to maintain and keep my vehicle in tip top shape. The guys over at service are the BEST (thank you Ernest!) Sadly, it's time to part with my car as I no longer need a vehicle. I came back to Joyce hoping to have an appraisal done of the value of my Civic, only to be told that the dealer only allows same day appraisals if behind sold today. I said fine, I'd wanted to do what any vehicle owner in my situation would do - think over a few different offers before making a decision. Then I said f--k it, I'll just sell today. Drove my car back a few minutes later asking George to appraise my vehicle. If the price was reasonable, they could take my car. Was told shortly after that there was no more time in his day for an appraisal and to come back a week later. Almost as if he forgot he had informed me TEN MINUTES earlier that the dealership only accepts same day appraisals. Fly clear of Joyce Honda I recently went back for a routine service visit and remembered why I stopped going to them years ago. They recommend service that is not needed. After leaving the station with an Oil change, they told me I had a small transmission fluid leaker and recommended me to come back for inspection for $185. I said fine and made appointment for following week. On the way home from the station, I brought my car to my normal mechanic and he looked under the car. To my surprise, oil was spattered all on the bottom of cat and over the protective undercoating. My mechanic was amazed as the mechanic at Honda spilled oil all over and never cleaned it. He subsequently cleaned off the oil and removed the under coating so he could inspect. There was no transmission oil anywhere. The Honda mechanic made such a mess he just recommended service for no reason. I will never go back to Honda again Very dishonest. Fly clear of this place read more

I dropped my car for repairs last night for scheduled appointment today. Never heard from dealership service department. Called 4x put on hold 2X for 6 plus minutes, called again 2X and was disconnected before anyone answered. during the first 2 calls woman answered, first call she said she would look it up, second time said she was looking for a manager. It is fortunate I don't necessarily need teh car tonight otherwise I would be using much more descriptive language as to their performance. I recently purchased a 2019 CRV from another dealer. Unfortunately I hit a pot hole, cracked my rim, and needed the tire replaced. Joyce Honda ordered my rim and tire. Scheduled my appointment and completed the service, they also arranged payment through my platinum coverage. I noticed when I got home that they put a different tire brand on the replacement of my brand new car! This was not disclosed to me and I am very upset. This otherwise would have been a positive review. How could you not replace with the same tire and/or tell th?? Proceed with caution. Because this location is so convenient, I decided to give it another shot. I called today to schedule an oil change and a recall service. The lady on the phone stated she was unsure if they had the required parts for the recall and I would need to confirm first with their parts department before making the appointment. The poor customer service continues. The attendant lacked the skills to complete this verification and schedule the appointment. This was the only detour I needed to decide not to move ahead. I went in for an oil change and they chipped the paint off my bumper. (My car is Honda 2015) I scheduled an oil change which was done rather quickly about an hour and half. When I left it was raining really hard so I didn't look at my car. When I got home I noticed that a piece of paint was chipped off the bumper. On my receipt was also an advertisement saying that they work with an auto body shop to fix scratches and chips which was conveniently there. I Called the dealership and spoke to Aaron and told Him they chipped the bumper. He told me to bring the car in to take a look at it. I go to the dealership and spoke to Ed the manager at the time it was about 5:30p. The worst manager I have ever encountered the level of customer service is something I had never experienced. I explained to him the situation and asked why didn't they give me a paper that had the scratches from the beginning and he said because customers don't like that. That's so they can scratch it and have you fix it with them. SCAM!! He said that all the mechanics are recorded so they wouldn't do that. I told him if he could look at the camera of the mechanic or when I brought the car in to see if it was there and HE TOLD ME I NEED TO PAY HIM FOR THE TIME HE IS GOING TO BE WASTING LOOKING AT THE CAMERA FOR ME AND THAT I COULD PAY HIM IN CHECK. What manager or dealership says that to a client. He should be trying to prove me wrong. HE TOLD ME I HAD TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY OR HE WAS GOING TO CALL THE POLICE. I told him to call the police. The police came to the dealership and he was trying to tell the employee that brought the car to the mechanic to lie to the police saying there was a scratch there already. I explained what happened and police said he had to look through the video. His excuse was no one that works the camera was on shift. The police said they will come back the next day. The next day I got a call from the officer and when he went to the dealership they showed him that the cameras have not been working for a whole week. Now I'm stuck fixing the chip out of pocket. If my car broke down next to this dealership I would seriously walk 17 miles to the next one. I would give this 0 stars if I could. read more
