My watches have always been gifts, But I always told myself when I finally buy my own watch, this is where I'm going. That happened yesterday. I brought a couple of my watches in for batteries and band replacements and started looking around. There's a lot to choose from including Bulova, Citizen, Hamilton, Fossil, Timex, etc just to name a few. I focused on a Bulova. I wasn't sure of what diameter, Although I had an idea because my wrists are a little small. There are several sizes to choose from, I tried on a few to get the feel for them and find the size that worked for me. They were super helpful and accommodating and patient with my fickleness. We finally settled on a beautiful one with a nice burgundy colored face that fit my wrist size perfectly! The price was great, and the band adjustment was quick and efficient and the watch was super affordable, and I can't even tell you how happy I was with the experience when I was driving home and I couldn't stop looking at my watch! One diamond had been replaced. He offered to buy it for a fair price. I also brought in some gold and an old coin. One necklace he said was not valuable. I walked into JC and right away the staff and jeweler were so friendly and helped me get my eternity bands safely removed in less than 30 minutes and pain free. I had to have some stones removed and the bands cut but it is such a relief! I definitely recommend for your jewelry needs and will revisit the store when I'm ready to have them put back together. They packaged the pieces to keep everything together until we're ready to revisit this.

It's a rare instrument from Ukraine, 40-50 years old, showing wear, and with the usual dings on the bow plate, but in decent shape. I had the tuba restored by a brass instrument expert last year. But, now times are tough, and I decided to sell it. The guy was so rude! He said he wouldn't take it because of the dings and wear. I explained it was restored, and plays wonderfully. He said to "take it out of here, I don't want it." I think it was the bald guy. I don't even remember, I was so dejected. I was finally able to sell it at another pawn shop, for half of what I had hoped. But, at least the other people were friendly, and even took the time to look it up online to see what it would be worth. As I said, times are tough. I will never again step foot in Pawn Shop of Ventura. I'm sure they don't care. And, I understand they don't want to buy items that might not be easy to sell. But, there's no excuse for being so rude.

We love the crystal trees we got but my husband's dragon was broken on the face area and the broken part was not inside the box which means it was previously broken. When I enter the store and told the cashier she directed me to a gentleman that literally told me to calm down when I was giving my explanation. I have over 20 yrs in customer service and sales. I was on the phone with my daughter and mistakenly heard there was another store downstairs where in fact is at the corner next to target upstairs so the gentleman said you didn't buy here when I have the email receipt see attached pic. So again trying to explain to her and they start saying things in Spanish well guess what ? Español es mi primer idioma. Spanish is my first language! They were basically saying they don't sell broken stuff. So told them my daughter didn't break it or has a reason to lie. They agree to hand it to me outside the store and the lady threw the box at me!!! Third an final strike. They will never see a dime from me ever again!!!
