She offered some great suggestions on what I could do with my short hairstyle and which accessories to choose. She was punctual and arrived early to our hotel for our appointment. Rossie asked about my normal skin complexion so it would look its best. She completed my hair and makeup totally within the time we had scheduled. She is very friendly and pleasant to work with. I was very happy with how I looked- makeup was not heavy at all and great color choices for my skin tone and features. Her makeup products are very high quality... I started makeup at 7:30 am. By 9pm, after the entire wedding, nap and dinner, my makeup hadn't even smudged! My skin has a tendency to get dry within a few hours of being under makeup, but even at the end of the day, it still looked very fresh. While I could have booked Nicole for my wedding hair and makeup, she was unfortunately way too expensive for my wedding budget. However, I had two big priorities when it came to wedding planning: I needed an amazing photographer (CHECK!!), and I needed a really amazing makeup artist. Nicole suggested I go with her contractor Lindsey, and not to downplay AT ALL the work that Lindsey does, but she was much more affordable. The contract and payment process was a bit muddy, and I could have used just a bit more responsiveness, but overall, I couldn't be happier with the end product. Lindsey was an absolute joy to work with. During the trial, she really listened to what I wanted (erase that triple chin, girl, and make my eyes big!!!), and was able to create a look that complemented not only my dress, but the entire style of the wedding. When choosing a HMUA, my big goals were to (a) look amazing, and (b) still look like myself. I look at my wedding photos and know that I look like a really great version of my current self. She also made my sister and my mother look absolutely stunning. She was certainly worth the price, and I'd go with her again in a heartbeat. I'm even trying to persuade my mom now to go and get haircuts from Lindsey. She has a knack for making you look elegant, and I'd love to see what she could do with my mom's hair. I also received a free glass of delicious wine to calm the nerves as I hadn't had my hair cut since 2009 (it's 2026). I won't need to revisit for 3 months, at Becky's advice. She is honest and definitely loves her career and helping people to look their best and boosting their confidence. My mom also uses Becky for her hairstylist. We are both so very satisfied with having Becky as our stylist for the rest of our lives.

Daxxify has completely smoothed out my forehead wrinkles and my crow's feet and I feel so much more like myself! Was also told by Christine Levey, that in order to fix the damage to my face that THEY caused " I needed to see a Dermatologist or a Cosmetic Surgeon" What! Are you kidding me? She made me feel beautiful, the hair/make-up lasted through the day/night, and her work photographs beautifully (without it looking too cake-y IRL). She also did my mom's hair and make-up, which my mom ended up loving (especially since my mom's has had poor experiences with professional hair and make-up artists in the past). Shawna made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I normally wear minimal makeup in my daily life, so for my wedding I was concerned about looking way overdone. Shawna absolutely nailed what I asked for. She made me feel like a more elegant, polished version of myself. She knew right away how to accentuate my features but still have a natural look. The touch up kit made it easy for me to fix my lip color in between photos. For my hair, Shawna did an amazing updo that I never would have been able to do myself! I gave her some creative freedom with the hairstyle and was so happy with the result. An updo is not easy with my hair because it's very thick and heavy, but somehow it stayed in place all night through lots of hugs and dancing. The lash extensions were done a couple days prior to the wedding. She had a few different options ranging from natural-looking to more dramatic. I loved that I didn't worry about sweating or crying off mascara or strip lashes during my wedding, and they looked beautiful! I was a lash newbie but Shawna gave me easy instructions on how to care for them. The process does take a couple hours if you're getting a full set, but it's absolutely worth it. Colie is beyond meticulous with her work, taking her time to make sure every detail is perfect and that you feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process.
