1 Star - Felt Intimidated, Unsafe, and Disrespected…read more My experience at Durango Bikes was extremely uncomfortable and concerning. When I returned to pick up my bike, I found myself in a situation where I was out numbered by 5-6 male staff members and no other customers in the store. As a customer simply trying to clarify billing and service issues, this felt overwhelming and intimidating rather than supportive or professional. During the interaction, a large dog was also allowed to come from the back working area into the front of the store. Given the already tense situation, this made me feel unsafe and added to my discomfort. This did not feel appropriate in a customer-facing environment, especially during a dispute. I also could not ignore the way I was treated throughout the interaction. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously when questioning charges and services that had not been completed. The overall tone and handling of the situation left me feeling disrespected and, frankly, discriminated against. At no point did anyone attempt to de-escalate the situation or offer reassurance. Instead, they lied repeatedly and told me I was incorrect, the environment felt hostile and unwelcoming. No customer should feel intimidated, unsafe, or unheard when simply trying to resolve a service issue. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend.

Love the upgraded parking and road to accommodate more cars compared to the past. But you must come for the sunset, and stay for the peaceful long walks and all that nature has to offer. Great spot to also go for a hike/walk, bike the dirt roads, and enjoy nature with occasional croc sitings and evens Everglades deers. Enjoy a boat passing by or even an airboat. Nice outdoor trail that you must experience and hike at least once. Easily assessable, peaceful, picturesque views, amazing sunsets, and an abundance of nature all sure won't disappoint.

People bring their chairs and wait to view the sky and watch the sunset in silence. This Trail is quiet and also perfect for bikers and runners. People also bring their dogs for a nice walk. Trail is home to many species of birds and you can spot alligators and snakes if you get lucky. Wide open area where fishing is allowed. You can see people fishing from their boats as well as near the canal. I enjoy coming here whenever I want to enjoy nature and do my meditation walk. It provides me with a sense of calmness and tranquility. There is parking but try to get there early before Sunset time as it can get crowded and parking is limited. Bring bug spray as there may be mosquitos in the area.

I requested to rented a full-suspension e-bike and basically spent the afternoon grinning like a kid on Christmas. It was my first time trying one out in the trails. The shop is right next to the trailhead, so zero excuses -- just hop on and go get muddy. Huge shout-out for the military discount too -- I showed my ID, got a smile and a thank-you, and was on my way. After the ride, I hung out at the shop for a bit, swapped trail stories, and probably talked way too much about how great my bike was. If you're into bikes, trails, or pretending you're in a Red Bull commercial for a few hours, this is your spot. ‍

First let me say that their website is very helpful, as they keep full stock and prices up to date, so it was easy to see what they had in store with real prices. I had a couple of bikes in mind and emailed them with a few questions about stock/price/color/etc. I received a quick response from Mario and we continued to go back and forth with me pinging him with questions over the next week. When I got back into town, I advised him that I would drop by the next day to test ride a specific model. I showed up to the shop the next day and Mario was there. First let me say that this is an impressive shop - fully, fully stocked, well organized and a variety of bikes from low-end to super high-end. The selection is really excellent. Need a bottle cage? They have about 50 different types of them. If you're an obsessive cyclist, this place has a ton of bike porn. The repair shop area was huge and looks very well maintained. Mario helped me out with the test ride and I decided that I would go ahead and buy the bike. I told him that I was gong to swap out the white bar tape to make it all black, as well as the saddle - I had actually purchased new tape and had a decent black saddle back at home. He offered to swap these for me free of charge. I waited a bit while they taped the bars, installed the saddle and checked the bike out. Twenty minutes later, I left the store with my new Trek Emonda - a great bike at an amazing price. The other thing I'll note is that there was no shady salesmanship going on here. He knew I was there with a bigish budget and could have easily tried to squeeze a few hundred more dollars out of me by trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. The overall buying experience was excellent and the price was the best that I found anywhere in the area. i would highly recommend stopping by City Bikes whether you're buying a water bottle or a $5K performance road bike.
