Burger and sausage bellpper mushroom pizza
    Joe P.

It's a pretty typical kind of bar. It was updated in probably 1992 and not touched since then. They have a special that's priced really good so it's a good bang for your buck but the food is kinda subpar. It's not fantastic, but it won't kill you either. If you're just hanging out and watching a game or something and drinking some beer, it's fine but if you're looking for something really good to eat this ain't the place. The bell peppers on their pizza however were fantastic. They serve a butter burger on a hard roll. It's OK if it's your thing you might like it, but I don't really care for it. Everything was pretty bland except for like I said the bell peppers were fantastic on their pizza.

Atmosphere is very diner/pub like and you can tell it hasn't been renovated in years, good or bad. Lunch specials were legit and bloody Mary's are basic but come the way you want it doctored up with no extra cost (ie spicy, horseradish). My son LOVED the crispy fries and classic cheeseburger . My salad was very good with the marinated chicken, but especially the pepper Parmesan dressing. Oh my goodness! I want to recreate that at home, but I probably don't want to know the calories! Only complain keeping this from a 4 star was asbestos-like tile (albeit not an expert) in the bathroom that has been chipped away from the years.

We ordered the Jozeiak's special. $16. There can be only one. This is the best burger in the Country. Every time I'm within 30 miles I have to eat here. And, they never let you down. Mickey Lou's gives the Wabash a run for it's money. But, in a side by side comparison there can be no doubt. If you are in the area you should conduct your own research and leave a comment. This everyday special can't be beat. There are a lot of restaurants that charge $16 or more just for their burger. And this burger is better tasting than all of them. Plus, they throw in a second burger, a pizza and 2 sodas for free. They've been doing it since 1948! Bravo!

Had a lot of people recommend the burger at this place, went to try it today. It was nothing special. 2 thin layers of beef, and it looks like they put a tablespoon of butter right smack in the middle of the burger. Also tried the pizza, similar to brothers 3 pizza. Overall it's a nice deal for the price, but nothing I would be excited to come back to try again.

Great place for a burger and pizza. The carry out special is a fantastic deal. 2 burgers (wabash) and a small pizza for $16. The burgers are double, so they are filling. The pizza is plenty big enough for one person, but can easily be spilt. This place has been around for awhile and are still producing great products. Check them out.

Best of both worlds. Got the Wabash burger and the deluxe pizza. Superb. Draft beer selection could use an upgrade. Service was good considering how busy they were. Will definitely be back.

Pizza is good (same as Brothers Three). If they used the same buns as Mickey-Lu's uses, their burgers would be 100% better.

The Wabash and the 10 inch pizza allowed my girlfriend and I to taste food from two restaurants in the area.

For the longest time, I thought they were only things of fairytales, like unicorns or pockets. But you can't travel 8 feet in the UP without being beckoned by a pasty shop. And because I'm me, I completely missed my opportunity until I was at the Michigan/Wisconsin border. But fear not! I wouldn't be writing this review if I HADN'T had one! So this pasty establishment was quaint. It had a drive through, a table in the inside and a table on the outside. I mess with that. Sometimes you don't need the extras. Now, as I learned about the pasty, it seemed like the most basic one was beef and rutabaga. Now, everybody knows that nobody knows what a rutabaga is. It's just one of those things that show up in recipes. And because I'm trying this for the first time, I want the full effect. So bring on the baga! Ok, so, since it was nice outside, I decided to sit on the picnic table. They gave me my pasty on a plate with utensils and I ordered 4oz of brown gravy to go with it. I split that bad boy down the middle like the Red Sea and waterboarded it with my gravy. Took a deep breath and dove right in. Listen. I still might not know what a rutabaga is, but I didn't let a single little square of them escape. Everything was hot, the crust was flaky, the gravy thiccc. Why did I never know these things were basically pot pies? I LOVE pot pies. It was gone in minutes. Just wiped out. Like Thanos snapping his fingers. There was nothing I didn't like about it. It was everything a first timer should have experienced. Pot Pie's Cute Older Sister, Pasty 10/10. A couple side notes: If you see my photos, you see I chose milk as my drink of choice. That's because I haven't had milk in three days and I was getting cranky. The only ONLY thing I would suggest, is they invest in either heavier duty plastic utensils or metal ones. Made it a little hard to cut into the bottom where the crust is rolled together. Certainly not something important enough to lose a star over, because honestly, you could punt this thing into a brick wall and I would happily eat it off there.

The Empanada is exceptionally delicious, the Beef + Rutabaga is 5 out of 5, wouldn't change a thing -- crusts are thin, delectable on their own, well-filled, cooked to perfection! A must stop for "pass-tees"
