We signed a contract to sell our house to Sean Smith, Luke Careccia from the Thrivere Team who is a…read morepart of the My Home Group. Sean walked the property with my agent and he was told everything that was needed to be done to the house. The offer was for selling "As is", no repairs and no cleaning with us allowed to stay in our house for 30 days after closing and a 1 day inspection period. Sean could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Them last Friday comes and Sean said we need to drop their offer price $25K because he said that he did not know what everything costs and it would take more money to fix up. After several days of going back and forth and telling him we signed a contract and he walked the property and he was told what the issues were in the house and we were expecting to close on December 29th. Sean kept saying I am doing everything I can to make this work, blah, blah, blah. He said he sent over the inspection report on December 12th but we never received it. I asked him to forward that email to see the timestamp. He never sent it. The title company said he needed to send by December 11th but he said he sent on December 12th. We scheduled for him to come over Monday night to see according to him "where we can cut some corners and save some money." He never showed, did not answer and texts or phone calls and never apologized for blowing us off. Then yesterday after telling them we were not going to sign the cancelation addendum they sent and we expected to close on December 29th or give us the earnest money, Luke sent an email to myself and the title company saying they were canceling the contract, said to send their earnest money back to them. The reason they used was that we did not disclose on the Disclosure Form that there were cracks in the foundation. I did put on the form that their were cracks in the flooring but I do not know how they know there are cracks in the foundation, as Sean was only in our house the one time to walk the property initially. Bottom line is that Sean and Luke are very dishonest and has put us in a very bad situation as we are supposed to close on our new house on December 29th as well. I know this does not represent all who work under the My Home Group umbrella but they only ones that are getting screwed is us. Do not use the Thrivere Team.

False advertising... well, technically not. False…read moreadvertising because a rep. of My Home Group made the claim. Not false advertising because we did not deal with Doug Hopkins personally. Doug Hopkins says on the radio "Some guys will lowball you at the last minute, I will never do that"... "Doug Hopkins with My Home Group" Our deal with My Home Group had the person try to cut $15.000 off the agreed price after we signed our part of the deal. We weren't desperate so we said, no, not happening. After some "maneuvering" the My Home Group guy did the deal at the agreed to price. I did not pursue the false advertising issue because I didn't deal with Mr. Hopkins and "my" realtor is a friend of the family.

We had such a great experience with Len from beginning to end to even beyond with our first home , ( as in - Len will consult with you on upgrades / renovations/ what is necessary/ what will get you your money back on your investment when time to sell / what won't and .. AND THIS IS HUGE after our ONE BIG MISSTEP with a horrible GC .. he will recommend GOOD, LICENSED GENERAL CONTACTORS! or Handymen. ) We started to talking to Len about wanting to buy and he walked us through each step since we still owned another home in the valley , IT may be different , he warned and we couldn't miss a step. Everything had to be almost perfect to gain that amount of mortgage. That's Len.. attention to detail. A straight shooter. In the current market , we definitely needed to have all of our ducks in a row with pre-qualifiers ; down payment; and wants / needs etc. ; we needed to be realistic. and we needed to be ready to hit the 'GO button ' on the spot if we found something in our price point that hit all or 85% of our mark. Covid or not, this real estate market is hot! Len worked us through each step start to finish . When we finally got to the part where we could look at homes we looked and looked and looked ..we even called Len on a Sunday while driving around Fountain Hills to see if he could get us into a home .. He said ,' give me an hour and I'll be there!' THIS guy works tirelessly! Never gets impatient. We bid on two homes with full ask and went over the asking price in Scottsdale just to be out bid.. even with escalators !! He never gave up on helping us find the right home .. when I was almost in tears after another full day of looking at homes .. we went to the home that both my husband & I didn't think 'on paper' would fit our needs .. it was the last on our list .. and , well, it fit our needs more than we even imagined and it was in THE part of Scottsdale we wanted to be in. Len even dealt with let's say 'difficult sellers' as we went out of the country unaware for a month. His agency is run tight ; his colleague , Cathie was at our final walk through and she is a gem, as well. This is a tough market to navigate alone right now .. YOU need the right agent who will work diligently - day ; night ; and even Sunday ! You need the right agency who follows through on helping you from beginning to end and all the steps in between .. the financial part is key.. YOU need the right agency who will make the other agent on the other side of which you stand tow the line .. we JUST learned that .. Len will definitely do that! Clementi Real Estate Consultants again ... will guide you through all the painstaking tasks of buying a home and make it fun too.. Like fun bites at Spiga for a 'regroup session '! There is nothing better than the moment you close .. grab those keys and walk into your own home .. YOUR American Dream.. and see YOUR hard work and savings .. all at your fingertips!

The photos her team took were fantastic and really helped our home shine on Zillow and the MLS. She went to bat for us and fought to get us the best deal possible during the negotiations and inspection processes. Unfortunately, our first round of buyers lost their financing the day before close due to some negligent spending behavior and lack of financial disclosures on their part. Then...Cindy did it all AGAIN, without missing a beat! Within another 3 weeks, our home had another great offer! Even having to start over from scratch halfway through the process, our home was still sold in just over 3 months. Amazing! Her level of service and professionalism was top notch--she was always highly responsive and willing to help during the process. I can honestly say she blew away my expectations and is the best agent I've ever worked with. I highly recommend her to anyone, hands-down. Don't pay the typical exorbitant, gouging, ten-digit realtor commissions for sub-par service. Call Cindy at Flat Fee Team AZ. I promise you won't regret it, and you'll never go back to the "typical" real estate agent again. Thank you Cindy! - Alex and Julie

I've never written a negative review before, but this one is well deserved. We initially secured the condo via a signed contract back in 03/25 directly with the landlords after we toured the property and were assured the place would be fully furnished when we moved in on 01/12/2026. A few days before we were due to travel to AZ, I got a call from a property manager (Andrea Robidoux) who works for Fort Lowell telling us that she would managing the lease. I didn't think much of it at,the time, but right off the start, I had to pay a $50 background check fee that I didn't plan on given that I already had a signed contract, then I had to correct several items in the lease agreement including the correct exit date of 04/12/26, which I was told (by Andrea) that I had to accept 04/30/26 (even tho the original contract clearly states 04/12/26) and that any remaining days not used would be refunded but only to find out AFTER the fact (when I called Fort Lowell directly) that I would held liable for the entire month of April even if I gave a 30 day notice and left on the 12th of April. The real problems started when we met Andrea at the property on the scheduled move-in date. That's when we realized that this was Andrea's first time actually seeing the condo (we know this because she told us so and we had to direct her by phone where to go when she arrived at the complex). When we all walked into the condo, there was a VERY nasty odor (more of a stench) that can be smelled before you even enter the front door (it was so bad that Andrea had an asthma attack and had to go out to the balcony for some fresh air to finally breath normally). Then we saw all the obvious issues such as carpet stains, the dirt everywhere, the dust accumulation on all the windows/blinds, ceiling fans, fixtures, etc.. After Andrea left (without going over anything in the condo and without providing any documentation such as an emergency contact list, association Bylaws, move-in check list, etc.), we began to notice many more issues such as Clothes dryer not working properly (exhaust vent blocked), refrigerator ice maker not working, dishwasher drawer broken, fireplace not working, HVAC making LOUD noises and not working properly, the only couch was heavily stained from grease/dirt, tiles in both showers were stained black from grease/dirt, leaking kitchen faucet, cracked bathroom sink, stains and hair on bed headboard, broken vacuum cleaner, only 1 working smoke detector and none in the bedrooms (against code), anything that can be touched in the kitchen was sticky & very greasy, major dirt under all the beds & around night stands, trash in the garage, etc... Additionally, there were many missing essentials such as absolutely no started toilet paper, napkins, cleaning supplies, no complete sets of dishes/glasses, no bathroom waste baskets, no salt/pepper shakers, no broom/dust pan, no mop/pail, visible stains on some of the bed sheets and all pillows had stains and nasty odor, no mattress protectors or mattress pads or pillow protectors (disgusting and against code), no working vacuum, etc.. We contacted Andrea and she advised us and even encouraged us to go and purchase what ever we needed that was missing including a vacuum and assured us that we would reimbursed so we purchased only the necessities and we spent the next 4 days cleaning the place only to be told afterwards that we will NOT be reimbursed for the $200 vacuum and the response I got from Andrea was "it's not my vacuum". We have caught Andrea on many occasions either blatantly lying to us or she is REALLY forgetful because she's managing so many properties and can't keep track (I believe it's it a little of both scenarios) I even scheduled a meeting with Andrea and the landlords to review all the issues and request that they refund the cost of the vacuum, remove the $350 cleaning fee since we actually did most of the cleaning and provide a small reasonable reduction of the monthly rent because the property was not what was originally agreed upon, but they refused all of it. There were many, many more issues not mentioned here (all fully documented), but bottom line, Andrea (and Fort Lowell Management) didn't do diligence by verifying condition of condo prior to accepting to manage this property which resulted in us dealing with major issues in what was supposed to be our vacation time. Stay as far away from this company and specifically Andrea Robidoux. Additionally stay away from any properties owned by WILLOUGHBY INVESTMENTS AND SERVICES, LLC (landlords).
