The heat pump gave us air conditioning in addition to heat - a welcome bonus. Recently, we started hearing a whistling sound and worried that a bearing or other component was going bad. Max Air came out, examined the system top-to-bottom and determined that the ductwork in our house was too small and that the force of air through the ducts caused the whistling.
