I found a Great Plumber and I just want to give a shout out now. I needed some large pipe replacement, about 5 feet deep, and a trench to find the problem about 5 feet long. After 2 other estimates I hired Erick, from All Around Plumbing, who quoted me the figure that in my experience seemed fair. Not ridiculously low, but right about what it should be to get it done right. The first estimate was so ridiculously high (5x more) that he offered me 5 year financing! He wanted to tear down my driveway fence so he could get a backhoe in! The other plumber was recommended by a friend but still twice as much. Erickk's assistant, Javier, had to move one rosebush and place in a temporary pot, to do this job. Being careful of the remaining 3 flowering rose bushes, Javier dug out the straightest looking trench I've ever seen. He was careful to put down the tarps for dirt so the end result would be my astro turf lawn and roses all back together again, looking good. Erick saw a bigger problem of too many clean-outs and fixed that, along with the offset and root problem, fixed my cement on the patio and raised that cleanout to be accessible, changed out my leaking hose faucet, and snaked under my sink. I first hired Lause to fix a shower valve problem. The shower water was only coming out hot. For $950. the repair was made. However he didn't put down drop cloths on my new pavers. The Quik set cement he put in to repair the dry wall where the hot water heater is was all over the pavers. It took me 2 hours to attempt to get the hardened concrete off the pavers. he said he wasn't the cleanest person and apologized. My Toto toilets were the next job. Because the parts have to come from a supply house I had some of them here. The flapper was attached to two of the overflow pipes. The gasket on one of the pipes crumbled. The other pipe he put in shouldn't have been used but he put it in anyway using some of his glue. The water from the tant leaked into the toilet bowl water so it constantly refills. I told him beforehand to bring that part but he didn't do that. When he came back he kept using toilet paper to wipe around the rim. He constantly complained he wasn't being paid for a large job he was on and had no money. I text him and he wouldn't come back. I had given him a large Subway sandwich when he was on the first job. I thought, although expensive, I would use him again. Lause didn't take the time to go a get the necessary part. The part he used was marked, don't use. Now he won't come back. read more

Erick was able to come out the same day to look at my remodel needs. Promptly send bid as well. I asked about his contractors license and he sent one but it's not current and not his. When I looked it up and then asked this is his response: "Yes sorry Matt used to work for me, and he used to be my MRE officer. He is no longer employed by All Around Plumbing, so now I have to go to CSLB and get it but my appointment for my test is not until Jan 13 2023." He provided this license: 1030864 I can't comment on his work but found him on NextDoor and all were good. If you need someone licensed then probably want to go elsewhere. I was showering in my apartment and the water abruptly turned off. I came outside to find multiple of my neighbors, wet and in towels, wondering where our water pressure went? The Peon working for All Around Plumbing turned off our water to the building without warning. He left 20+ people our of water on no notice whatsoever. When confronted, the worker commented that if there was a problem with his actions, it be brought up with the BBB. I will be filing multiple reviews to showcase the hiring practices of this company.
