Update, after an initial fantastic first experience we called them back when our AC stopped working. They told me my unit needed to be replaced and gave me a 26k quote. They spent more time on finance paperwork than troubleshooting. When I said I couldn't do that they then offered $3k and later $1200 repair quotes. Turned out it was a $12 repair with a bad capacitor and was easily diagnosed and fixed. I'm now getting non stop spam calls and text from their finance partners. read more

Remington came by at a pinch and was accommodating my busy schedule. It's also a plus that he was willing to drop by on the weekend. I had a small leak and needed the condensation pump replaced. Upon testing we discovered an additional unexpected leak in the copper line, which Remington helped fixed without additional a charge. There were several other questions regarding my AC unit that he answered and was very knowledgeable. I have a pretty old system from the previous owner and hopefully no more issues come up. Remington did a complete overhaul of my old heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork. He replaced my old gas furnace with a inverter heat pump system. He relocated where the outside unit sits and he installed all new ductwork. He also added a separate mini split system to my garage so I can work in there without freezing in the winter or melting in the summer. I reached out to him and other contractors here on yelp. I gathered multiple quotes from companies of all sizes. Remington showed up on time to provide the quote. He was very professional and quickly gathered all the information he needed to quote the job. He inspected my home and attic and noted what my needs were. He followed up the next day with a quote. His pricing was very fair. I tend to over analyze everything, so for the next two weeks I had a lot of questions for him. He answered all my questions promptly via text and email and was very patient with me. When I finally decided to move forward with his company he happened to be available the very next day. Remington and his crew showed up on time. All of his team was very professional. They carefully removed my old furnace and old duct work. Most of the work was done the first day. He came back the second day to finish a few items and do a final inspection and made sure everything was working properly. He left everything clean and the final job looks great. It's been about two weeks and my new system works awsome for heating! It's really quiete and efficient. I can't wait to try out the air-conditioning in the heat of the summer. Remington did a thorough evaluation and thoughtfully explained my options. Due to the age of my HVAC I decided to replace the system. Remington recommended a heat pump system and after discussing it with him and other companies, I went with Earth Air Systems based on price and schedule. The EAS crew showed up as scheduled and installed the new systems as promised. They were courteous, efficient and very professional. Remington was on-site through completion. I got a compliant from the tenant that something wasn't right with the furnace so I went through Home Depot to have it checked out. They said it was not even safe to run and had to be shut down. I immediately went to Yelp to get three bids, one of them was the Home Depot referral. It is quite difficult comparing all the estimates so you really have to pay attention to the details. Anyway, the Home Depot referral was 2x the amount as the other two so that was an easy "NO". The other two were comparable but Remington (the owner) convinced me to go with a heat pump. The AC was also on the brink of dying so I figured I'd do both now and not have to deal with this in the summer when everyone else is trying to get their AC dealt with. The condenser coils of my HVAC system leaked water, which entered the bedroom on the other side of the wall. Two other providers failed to completely analyze/address the problem, the MISdiagnoses by one resulting in water leaking into said bedroom a SECOND time (AFTER the drywall had been repaired and the carpet dried out). I got a word-of-mouth referral from Mighty Dry Restoration (about which I plan to write another positive yelp referral) to Earth Air Systems. Remington sent Peter the next day to take a look at NO charge. Peter was very personable and friendly, and took as much time as he needed to do a complete, thorough test on my system. He even called another technician, Daniel (another great guy!) to help open the HVAC box (something neither of the other two providers even offered to do), still at no cost. We discovered the coils rusting out quite a bit, so I've signed up Earth Air to replace the coils. (Oh, and they have a military discount!).
