They brought their own porta-potty, showed up early in the morning, and worked hard each day--at least eight hours, some days even more. We converted our large lawn to an orchard with 19 trees and a small "token" lawn for grandchildren's water fun. Sod had to be removed to make a new, long, decomposed granite pathway lined with bender board, irrigation systems designed and installed, stairways that had been unsafe re-designed and built, drain pipes repaired, and old drip systems repaired. Fast forward to Mid April 2021. I asked for an estimate for another job landscaping my front yard. He came out and gave me an estimate which I accepted. Then he said he would let me know when he could start the job within a week. Well I have emailed him four times and texted him twice for 6 weeks and he does not respond to me. I have told him if he does not have time for my job could he please let me know. He has not even given me the courtesy of a response which I am very upset by considering the scale of the job I gave him six years ago and the excellent recommendation which many, many people have read and took into consideration when hiring him for the job. I have told neighbors about his company and referred him so many times over the years. I just don't understand why he has ignored my messages. it's very upsetting and I will not be recommending him further. I feel that my current job of $5000 is too small and he can't be bothered with it but he doesn't have the courtesy to tell me this, he just ignores my messages.
