WARNING: GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I had been coming here for a year now, for both dry cleaning and alterations. The customer service isn't exactly great, but it's down the street from my office & was convenient for drop off and pick up. It was decent until it just became a costumer service nightmare... 1.) I brought in pants to be altered (brand new, with price tag still on). Not only was the sizing/brand tag removed which is odd -- but I found that THE BELT AROUND THE WAIST WAS COMPLETELY MISSING. 2.) I also brought in a limited edition hoodie in to be dry cleaned. And THE DRAWSTRING AROUND THE NECK WAS COMPLETELY MISSING. The thing is, I came in and wasn't mad or mean... but I was not apologized to once. Not once. I was told they are not responsible since it is not sewn on (when is a belt sewn onto pants or a drawstring sewn onto a hoodie?!) and that there was literally nothing they could do (no refund? no credit for next time? how about a simple sorry?). The manager was completely unphased, unapologetic, basically uninterested in my complaint -- shrugged me off entirely and all that was offered was that if I wanted to buy a new drawstring for the hoodie, he would put it back on when I come back. Cannot believe the poor service I just received! I brought in 3 ties yesterday to be dry-cleaned, and went in to pick them up today and two of them were actually dirtier than when I dropped them off! The original stains were from past drummers (I have a rock n roll band) sweating through the ties during summer shows. The new stains were from Eldorado Cleaners pressing the still-dirty ties. The ties looked as if they had only been pressed, not cleaned. When I asked the check-out lady if I could receive a discount for not being able to take them home today, she said "We're already re-doing them for you for free, that's two times labor so we are already losing money." Lies, lies, 1950s lies. I can't stand these kind of businesses. Of course I received the classic, "If we spot clean them it might remove some of the color, and that might be why they didn't spot clean them in the first place." Yeah, whatever. I would have been better off washing them in the sink with Woolite. I love this place! It's a bit too far from my house so I have been trying out other places that are closer, and I have come to the conclusion that it is worth the extra drive. Once you sign up for their email service it's only $1.75 per item! Of course there are a few exceptions, but in 6 years I've never had anything that didn't qualify for it. I just show them my email, you don't have to bring in a printed out copy. You do have to wait 3 days to pick up your items, but I usually wait a week anyway. It's always the same ladies that work the front, so once they know you it's quick. I lost my receipt once and it took a little longer to pick up. They had to look for my ticket through my phone number instead, and then I had to show my driver license so they could check that it matched. This made me feel good that they don't just trust anyone to walk away with my clothes! read more

When unpacking it at home, I saw that there is one item missing which happened to be my favorite sweater from Ted Baker, which was not cheap ($250). I went back to see if they knew anything about it. One woman basically said "tough patootie", we do not have it, but the owner got really pissy with me bordering on rude. He actually had the gull to accuse me of having someone else's clothes. He said that all the pieces are counted, then I must have someone's clothes. Never offered to help or even say "I'm sorry". On more than one occasion my clothes looked and smelled like they were never cleaned, just pressed with the same stains before you dropped them off with. Very unprofessional. Terrible customer service. Rude with attitude. Had dry cleaning arranged for drop off Wednesday at 2, pick up Friday at 11, drove all the way to pick it up and waited 20 mins for them to come tell me it won't be ready until after 5 cause "they didn't put a special label on it" not my fault If you can't properly run your business. I am unable to come back and fourth here cause of my schedule. Then the lady said she would bring it to my house after continuously saying "there's nothing I can do", I said "perfect no problem", gave my address, name, and phone number, she said I'm off at 6, I said "no problem drop it off anytime today". Friday passed, Saturday passed, Sunday passed, i then call today on a Monday and the guy who answered the phone said "I have no idea what you're talking about, the lady is on lunch call back." No problem, I called back and she gave me an excuse as to why she didn't bring it, I then asked " you couldn't call me to let me know you wouldn't be bringing it the last 3 days?" She said no because she left my number at work... very rude when I drove back to pick it up and said "I don't want to see you ever again" cause I asked for my money back because the garmet wasn't finished at our original arranged time.. terrible customer service and very unorganized. The Eldorado Cleaners on Sahara and Buffalo is great. I took in three pairs of summer Capri pants to have the waist band taken in. They had stretched out so much that I knew that I would not wear them. So for $18.00/waistband, I essentially got a new pair of capris. Not only was the altering done well, one of the capris had a loose button. I have gotten lazy about mending things unless it's a necessity due to arthritis and a neuropathy. The alteration gentleman sewed the button on, nice and tightly. I never asked him to do this. When do we get service above and beyond what we agree to, without even asking? Thank You!!! This is regarding only the shop on the corner of Sahara & Buffalo. I used to go there only once every couple months to get a shirt or jacket dry cleaned. This Thursday, I took two jackets there and pointed out two food stains on the sleeve of one jacket before giving it to them to dry clean. Got it back the next day with one stain still remaining. I asked the counter person to re-clean it, but she told me it was the dye fading and she wouldn't put it through again. I took it home and got the stain out with a little warm water on a cloth. Her total disregard for courtesy and customer service is why I'm reviewing them . As I left, I told her that she just lost a customer. I'm totally sure she couldn't have cared less. Maybe she will one day when they have to close the business due to the lack of customers. read more

I've been using this place for dry clean but since they are very busy, they've been losing my items. And the owner doesn't seem to care, he'll tell you he'll write you a check for the value on what's written on the wall. So, beware! If you bring an expensive clothing, he'll just pay you % of what you paid to have it cleaned not on how much you bought it for. And for alterations, just go to the indoor swap meet on Decatur and Oakey, there's 2 locations there that does hemming and it's only $5.00 and the result is much better! read more

I try to avoid dry cleaning at all costs. I find the whole process rather intimidating. You're handing over your clothes to strangers! However, there are certain items that just have to be dry cleaned, and as a result of proximity, I have ended up here. I would appreciate a bit more personable service. You have to pay up front, which I think is a little unsettling. They make off with both your money and your clothes! And, I have had to have at least one blouse re-cleaned because they did not effectively remove a spot. I currently have a pile of dry cleaning because I haven't been able to bring myself to try and find a new place. read more

The drycleaning part is OK, in fact I like their drycleaning service, price is reasonable. I just want to share my experience with the alteration services. We are long time customers of this place, We even come here eventhough its quite a waste from where we live now. I had my scrub pants altered here, I am small and petite and i don't want to drag all the germs from the hospital through my long scrub pants. I dropped them off but when i went there to pick them up, Its dry cleaned but not altered. The clerk just said, if you need them, just wear them and take them back without even being sorry for the incident. (Poor Customer Service!) Since i could not wear them anyway, i patiently told her that i will just pick it up when its ready, she took them and never really pay attention to my instructions. I hoped she got it. I picked them up a week after and when i got home, Its TOOOOOOOO short its crazy. They don't seem to care about their client's business. so there you go, my 56USD scrub pants and 22 Alteration fee = 78 USD in the trash! read more

And my clothes (jeans, sun dresses, work suits, etc.) were always perfect. I even took my old winter coats and they made them look like new! I think that this manager missed an opportunity and someone should review his management skills. I was a first time customer at this dry cleaner and I was given a coupon to try them out. The coupon I received read,"$1.75 per garment, with a minimum of four garments". I was well within the timeframe of the coupon, but was told that the coupon was not being honored. I inquired and this manager told me that his corporate office had made a mistake by printing this coupon, but nevertheless he was still advertising it on social media. I felt like this was a bait and switch situation and was very uncomfortable. The funny thing is, we are not talking about a large amount of money. The opportunity that was missed is that he should have honored the price stated on the coupon. It would cost him $1.50, I would have been happy feeling that I have received great customer service and would of given him all my future business, of which I think is substantial. Instead I don't trust this establishment; they made their problem (the coupon) a problem for me, the customer. What I think this manager needs to remember is that he is working in a service industry and $2.00 drycleaners are not that rare. I find that if you can't trust a person with little things like a coupon, how in the world will you be able to trust them when something really goes wrong.
