I probably stick out like a sore thumb with my 5 star review but, it is what it is. I came here on the way from work to grab wings for the P-Valley premiere; wings seemed fitting for the show. Lol We'll, I was promptly greeted and asked if I need a menu by a gentleman at the door. Jada was our server. She was great. The food was amazing. You got to try the fried shrimp and lemon pepper wings. Drinks mixed to perfection! Definitely a repeat visit!!! I was skeptical because of the reviews but I came on this Sunday afternoon around 6pm and everything was good. Last night was my last time visiting this location for good . There was a large water bug or roach crawling up the wall and over customers on the ceiling. I noticed the young woman behind the bar keeping track of where it was moving to but NOT ONCE did any of the WORKERS of this establishment have the customers that are beneath where this bug was crawling to move to the other side. That is what bothered me more than anything. Had i seen it before i ordered, I would have left. There are other JR Crickets locations that are better, and potentially deserve your business more than this location. Their prices have also increased (possibly due to the national shortage of chicken wings) to a point where a 30 piece wings with 2 flavors cost me $42.50 with tax. This place is usually hit or miss. It's almost a last resort for wings on a late night (kitchen closes @1 AM) but the lemon pepper shrimp are usually pretty good. They don't start cooking your order until you arrive on-site so there's almost no point in calling it in and sometimes the staff are friendly, sometimes they aren't. Depending on the day, if you come at night expect the parking lot to be pretty packed considering they share a lot with The Cigar Bar and Spice House Restaurant & Lounge, which are pretty popular establishments as well. read more
