I gave the establishment 1 star due to the unprofessional young lady who just answered my phone call. My friend placed an order for me through Uber eats and I called to make sure that I would get the right condiments. Needless to say the young lady was RUDE and kept laughing with someone in the background as if I was speaking another language. Maybe she snuck a few drinks idk! For example, i asked if they had ranch (they could've been out) and she proceeds to say," Well we sell wings so of course we got ranch." Then laughs in the phone. I asked because i ordered wings with my order and i don't like blue cheese. And then she wanted to charge me extra AFTER I ORDERED WINGS! That was just one example. This place is awful! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I placed a call in order. Was told it would be 15 minutes. I arrived at the Resturant 30 min. later my food was not done. I was charged for my wing flavors which was not specified on the menu anywhere! I was at the resturant an additional 30 min. before my food came out. Other customers who had ordered while I was there waiting got their food before me and they had wing pans. The food was not good. This place is a staple in Atlanta and I've been here for over a decade and just had my first experience. The restaurants a/c did not work so of course it was hot but bearable. It was also empty upon arrival so that had me skeptical, but the young lady who took our order was nice and the food took a little while but it was fresh! We both ordered the wings and ribs combo with the Dirty Bird sauce which is BBQ sauce with lemon pepper sprinkles and it was delicious. The ribs and fries were also good and the price was decent. Well to start I made a takeout order which was the biggest mistake of my life. I have been to most JR Cricket locations in the Atlanta area and the service across the board continues to be very bad. I came here a year ago and ordered a call in and arrived 20 mins later and when I arrived I had to wait another hour for the wings for whatever reason. The wings were good. Not as saucy as the Spring Street or even camp creek location but hey they were decent. I hadn't been back since because the wait was too much for me. So this time, I ordered 70 wings for a small get together and they were ready on time. The problem? The wings VERY tiny. I didn't realize it til I got home but they literally 1 inch in size. Hmmmmm. I used them through UberEATS, I was kinda skeptical but hey that was my only option today. Ordered two simple things, clam strips platter and JRC blt. It came at a reasonable time. But, I look into my back after getting back in the building, the "platter" was missing the coleslaw and tarter sauce. I paid an extra $1 for sweet potato fries and still got regular fries. As I continue to try and eat the food the clam strips were hard and of course there was no tarter sauce to dip. So I call and let them know and all she tells me is to call Uber and have them send another car out and we will correct it and send it over. The food is good just as it is at the other "Crickets" locations but, it was worth the 45min drive from Kennesaw! The J.R. Crickets on Panola is the new and happening thing! It has a great locale (in close proximity to I-20) which is especially good after drinking during football season and basketball season. You can catch the Games and everything for the Falcons. Plus I like the fact that it has large screens all throughout the facility. Well, actually, this J.R. Crickets is a Sports Bar, so to me that makes it different alone. Plus it lends to more of a festive atmosphere, and the food at JR Crickets is always on point, and I've been eating it since I first moved to Atlanta, so I was glad when I saw this brand new state of the art facility in this part of town. I live in SW Atlanta, and I drive past a couple of JR Crickets just to go to this one because I like the atmosphere, the waitresses and bartenders are very friendly and give good service and the DJ on Sunday is OFF THE CHAIN (DJ ONYX). Place has a funny smell. Floor was so sticky one of my shoes stuck to it. The tennis balls on the bottom of the chair legs are more black than yellow (just dirty). I picked my order up anyway.
