The reviews were right - RA Construction takes the time to go up and inspect and measure your roof to make sure their quote is comprehensive and on the mark. Some of the other vendors just "eyeballed" it from the street and their quotes came in noticeably higher. I was able to upgrade to higher quality Malarkey Vista shingles for a cost similar to what other vendors were asking for lesser quality shingles. My roof was done in just a few days, and each day the crew made sure everything was cleaned up. My back patio was cleaner when they left than it was before they started! Communication was great and my questions were answered promptly. One last thing ... I have a window on the second story of my house that doesn't open, and thus washing the exterior side requires a ladder and crawling onto the roof ... suffice it to say I am not able to clean it myself. I couldn't get a solid count but it seemed like 15 workers. 12 on the roof and 3 folks managing the everything not on the roof. Started at 8am and done by 6pm. It was a thing of beauty. They also checked our siding for possible water damage and covered up the windows extremely well with weathering material. He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation.
