This was a quick and easy and free experience. My insurance covered it with no out of pocket at all. I think JRD has a sign out front advertising this. I called ahead to make sure it wasn't too busy. When I showed up they got started on the little chip while I dealt with some insurance hoops. JRD was happy to get the phone call started too. Overall it was about 10 minutes on the phone with my insurance. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes, and I could barely even tell where the chip was. I don't think I could find it if I went out to my car now. Get the repair as soon as you can before the crack propagates and your insurance won't want to cover it! read more

Jeremy and his crew were great. My windshield replaced while I wandered SoCo for a couple of hours. The next day was July 4th and I discovered the lock/unlock remotes did not work. I emailed right away and he responded within an hour--on a holiday, no less, with advice on how to re-program the remotes, in case that was the problem. Our long-distance transport called the following morning and gave us less than 2 hours notice that they were on the way to pick up the car. Jeremy had already dispatched Steve to our home in Cedar Park to check the connection for the remotes. He arrived, discovered it was loose, and fixed it on the spot. I was able to re-program the remotes in time for the transport carrier. Jeremy went above and beyond and had already ordered new batteries to be delivered to me, for the remotes, just in case that was the problem. He wanted to be sure every base was covered. I found these guys from having seen their awesome campaign to replace windows smashed while rescuing dogs left it hot cars (AWESOME). Recently I was driving up 130 when a handful of rocks came bouncing out of the dump truck up the road from me... a rock hit my windshield leaving a nasty ding the size of a nickle on my otherwise perfect glass. I FB messaged JRD with a pic... I received a prompt reply saying most damage like that was fixable and to come on in (I appreciate when business are active on their social media). I live down the street so I drove right over... the owner came out and looked at my van, told me to relax in the AC and fixed my ding in 10 mins... it was only $50! They also work with insurance. Fixed the chip in my windshield in 10 minutes. This place is a little gem. No flashiness and literally in the parking lot of a gas station. Within minutes my windshield was fixed and I couldn't even find the chip! He had to show me where is used to be. Vendor raised prices, on groupon, to make it look like you were getting a great deal. I called around, the price for a new windshield was about $200. They quoted me 289, but with groupon, you would get for $210. The cost of groupon, plus cost from JRD, would mean paying more for windshield than just calling my local shop. What a scam......Do not be fooled. I spent over two months time working with groupon and JDR to recover funds. read more

I came in bc I got 2 horrific chips while driving on the beloved HWY 290 (I missed the memo that stated, today is the the exact day all of the diesel trucks in North America overstocked and carrying invisible windshield damaging rocks would be using my same morning route to class). Jeremy was super nice, took care of the insurance shenanigans with ease and got me outta there in roughly 20 mins. Oh and did I mention, I didn't even make an appointment. I agree with another poster...I have a 2009 Maxima and something hit my winshield in Feb and now it's cracked. I need it replaced. I've called several places and recieved quotes from $180 (dealership referral) to JRD of $279 with no discount to $221.29 with a discount. If I apply their Groupon deal it's still HIGHER than my lowest quote... That's crazy to me. Not sure what to think about his normal rate being $100 more than my lowest quote... Shop around read more

I brought my Fiat into JRD to get my windshield replaced. They had my windshield in stock, so they were able to replace it right away. It did take a little longer than the time he quoted me, but that was due to the weather which was completely out of their control. Late to post, but Couldn't have asked for better service! Had a friend that had their windshield replaced by them and recommended that I use JRD. Turns out, I only needed mine repaired after the advice of the owner. He could have lied and jacked up the cost for a replacement since I don't know much about windshields. I highly encourage anyone to use for repair or replacement. I called and Jeremy, the owner, was incredibly nice and to the point. He came to my location within the hour and only took him 10 minutes or so to fix. Price was lower than others I researched as well. I went to JRD Windshield Repair and the service was exceptional. I had a small chip in my windshield, and I didn't want the crack to get any bigger. I called ahead, and Jeremy was super nice on the phone and told me not to worry, and to come in whenever. The repair was quick, and Jeremy did it right there, explaining what he was doing as he went through each step. He even went ahead to check the rest of my windshield to make sure there weren't any other little cracks or dents in the glass. It's been almost 2 months since he fixed it and the windshield is practically flawless.
