So I returned to Dallas and decided to revisit this fun spot on a Saturday night to try their famous hamburger which I had read about. You order food at the bar in the back near the game table. The bartender was so nice and really helpful. I decided to try the patty melt because that looked like the most deluxe item that they served. It's made fresh right in front of you and it was really delicious. Juicy beef patty and lots of melted cheese. I really liked the fresh waffle fries that come with it (you also have other options like regular fries). You can eat at the bar or at one of the nearby tables, or you can even take it upstairs and eat it on their expansive patio with a view. This is a really fun neighborhood bar and their sister bar Sue Ellen's is right next-door. I managed to find free street parking on the cross street connected behind Sue Ellen's bar, even on a Saturday night. But there is also paid parking.

This is my favorite bar in Dallas. A true pillar of the Dallas gay community. It's chill, fun, welcoming, and always a good time. The staff is always TOP NOTCH. Tony and Your Highness are always slinging the good stuff with a smile....and the afternoon cook, Davey, is so fun and friendly. And the boy can COOK!! The food is always served perfectly and tastes amazing! I love this place!

Came here with a co-worker to have a little fun! There was a nice crowd hanging out by the front window area, but there was still plenty of room to sit and enjoy the music and people watch. The bartender that helped me was extremely friendly and very helpful with my drink selection. Popular gay bar in the heart of Oak Lawn and the LGTBQ neighborhood of Dallas. Great drinks, great music and an always up for it crowd. Gets packed on weekends, drink prices are very good and staff is always wonderful. The down stairs feels like it hasn't really evolved over the years. I really dislike the new jukebox. I don't understand why they continue to play the muted videos on the televisions that don't match the music being piped through the jukebox. I do like the upstairs area much better. It has been updated, and feels modern. Plus being able to open the garage door windows to make it open-air on nice days/evening would be wonderful.

Honestly, I love this bar. It's a fun and safe environment for the LGBTQ community. I was just looking for a drink and then I asked about food, they serve food while you drink and it's made FRESH. Like very fresh and delicious, they use fresh greens and fresh incredible ingredients.

Dranks and they didn't skimp of the alcohol either!

Fun, friendly place. The bartenders were nice. I would recommend it for a first timer in Dallas.

The bartender was perfectly fine serving me, but she wouldn't serve my sober gf. Kinda shitty. Won't be back.

I was there when a drag show was going on, was able to dance and chill downstairs, and I never felt overcrowded or uncomfortable.

Overall: 2.6/5 [dine in]…read more The place is nice, but smaller than expected. They had bubble guns too, which was a fun surprise. We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.
