Turns out, I am one for group classes; I just needed to find the right group and the right classes. The Fitbox community is incredible, and that includes the trainers and the clients. Everyone is super supportive. It doesn't matter if you've boxed and lifted weights for decades or the thought of wrapping your hands or picking up a dumbbell gives you anxiety. You'll fit right in. All of the classes are fantastic, and the trainers all have their own style. I highly recommend Fitbox. It's the best thing I've done for my physical and mental health.

In my experience, the owner, Alex, still refused to pause my account and refused any reimbursement after receiving that documentation. He was rude and aggressive with me and called me names. I have never been spoken to that way by a business. I have ended up having to involve an attorney over a gym membership. Imagine that. For contrast, Equinox and other gyms were kind and accommodating with me after my accident, which is part of what made this so disappointing. Great brand, great workout. I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects to be treated decently when something goes wrong in their life.

The physical therapists and trainers are like wizards who find the root cause of your pain and provide exceptional treatments through extended PT, massage therapy and strength training. Well, I arrived about ten minutes early and there was no one at the front desk to greet me early or to show me the ropes. I decided to wait in the lobby area until someone showed up but no staff member did. One of the class members eventually told me that I could grab an available bench and I did. It had been a while since I did strength training so it would have been nice to speak with someone prior to jumping into the class. Overall, I did enjoy the workout and it was challenging for me.
