I called Js pest control and made an appointment for a tech to come out an assess my conditions and give me a quote. It was a 1 week wait time for their first availability, I accepted this appointment. I was given a 1-3pm window time, I called the day of the appointment at 12pm to confirm techs arrival time. The person I was speaking to put me on hold and called the tech to confirm what approximate time he would be arriving, I was told "around 1:30pm". Fast forward to after 3pm still no tech, so I called and was told they will check. I was then told that the tech didn't get the paperwork with my appointment on it and that I would have to reschedule for next week. I explained I had already been waiting for a week for this appointment, and that I tech was called today and said he would be arriving around 1:30pm. The person on the phone used a couple of different excuses as to why the tech didn't make it to my appointment, before reluctantly admitted someone was at Js was not being truthful. Ok I get it- its not the end of the world... but Js pest control when you are unable to make an appointment calling the potential client to notify them so they can schedule their day accordingly is very appreciated. On the other hand lying to potential client isn't the way to get business, do business or keep business. This is why I choose not to do business with Js pest control. Respectfully. read more

My tenants had a dead rat in the backyard and I had called two other companies for services and they told me that they would not pick up the dead rat that was already in the backyard (even if I paid for services this was calculated $100 an up). WHATTTTT!!!!!!!??????? Well I found JSPest Control online and called them, the receptionist was so courteous as she listed to my problem and said that I needed to speak to a technician, she gave me the telephone number and then transferred my call. This morning I was so elated that Michael returned my call and said he will pick up the dead rat in the backyard. NO ONE ELSE WOULD, even the animal control of North Las Vegas, they told me NO too. My tenants are grateful and so am I. Thank you so much Michael I will be a customer and set future appointments for other types of pest control, because you demonstrated such outstanding willingness to help me in my time of need and were NOT AFRAID TO PICK UP THE DEAD RAT, while three others just wouldn't do it, even if I signed up for their services. They forgot to come out the day they said at 7am. Came out the next day at 7am.. the rep went into my backyard I pointed to the exact spot where the notbut considerable wasps come out when it's hot. Bearing in mind is early and cold so they are sleeping. The rep says " I didn't see one wasp". I told him they are in the eaves. First off, this was my first experience with this company. I had a beehive grow in my backyard, inside of an irrigation box that's in the ground. I called and set up an appointment, to my surprise, they said they could have someone there within the next 2-4 hours. Even better, they showed up in only 1 hour. I was impressed. The tech, Jorge, got set up and went to go check it out. First he told me a little about what was going to happen, definitely left some details out before he got started. Also, the dispatcher gave me no information about how it would be handled. So the tech thinks dispatch will explain everything and dispatch thinks the tech will. Terrible communication. The tech proceeds to make a big mess in the backyard while killing the bees. The hive was located in one corner of the yard and he takes the combs and dead bees halfway across the yard to dump it into rocks and leaving the honey drippings everywhere along the way. He takes off the top of the irrigation box off and bangs it against the wall to get any residuals off. He takes the combs, but leaves all the dead bees in the rocks. When I ask him about it, he tells me that he is not required to do any clean up, but he took care of the combs because he's a "nice guy." Very unprofessional and somewhat condescending. So I called back to the dispatch to find out why none of that was explained to me, she put me on hold for like 10 minutes and had the service manager call me back to help. He got back to me pretty quickly and came to the house, and could not explain to me why he would walk across half the yard to make a big mess or why neither the tech nor the dispatch gave me more details on how this would be handled. Also, because he left honey drippings all over, the bees that were supposed to come back to the hive decided to go to the drippings and stay there. The good news is that the service manager tried to make it right by picking up the dead bees and having the tech come back out and finish the job. For all of this though, 14% off. I currently use a pest control company but I'm not 100% happy with them because I sometimes feel like I'm working around their schedule to come spray my house. So I asked around at work, and a co-worker of mine told me she uses this company and told me many great things about their service so I thought I would call them and enquire about rates. The receptionist told me it was $35 dollars a month and I had to sign a one year contract. I asked what would happen if I didn't sign a contract. She said that it would be a one time fee of $70. So I told her, "you can have my business for $35 a I don't sign a contract, or you can not have my business." She said, "theres nothing I can do." I'll just google "Pest Control Company" or YELP or ask some more friends, maybe, just maybe I'll be able to find another company in Las Vegas. LOL read more

Wow I was about to give this company another chance! Thank God I came to Yelp! I read reviews on Google and Facebook and they have damn near perfect reviews and come here and I see people having the same experience I did when I used to use them! I used Js back in the day when they were still a baby company back in the early 2000's they had a history of showing up with no warning and charging us...One day a technician showed up unannounced goes in my backyard and my dog was outside... naturally she started barking she never got aggressive but she had every right to, he was intruding and my dog was little she was maybe 15lbs. The technician had the audacity to hit my dog with his metal sprayer on her head. I ran outside told him to get the fuck off my property before I stuck that sprayer where the great lord split him(I was actually more vulgar than that). I called the manager told them if I saw any of them on my property again the police would be called and I never used them or saw them again. My dog was ok she was scared but not hurt. I am looking for an affordable reliable exterminator I figured its been 15 or so years maybe they matured as a company but clearly not! I see they still come on property unannounced. read more

I paid them $250 for Bee Hive removal. Claimed they could not get to hive but would use chemicals to kill the bees and they had come out on several occasions each time telling me the bee problem was gone. The next day there were bees still accessing the hive. They came out the last time to use strong chemical and seal the space the bees were using to get to the hive. Bees kept coming back. I paid another company $250 to remove hive which they did the next day and the bee problem is gone. read more

Ever since it started warming up again the creepy crawlers decided to come inside my house to find refuge. I also found out I had a bee problem. After a few days we decided we had enough. I had previously used this company back in 2009 at my in-laws house. They had a huge roach problem and we didn't want our son to get sick. The problem went away within a couple of days. Well the same story applies here, they took care of the bees and other critters in a matter of days. They took care of the inside and outside and everything has been fine. read more

Don't hire this company. Paid $250 for trapping and then exclusion for a rodent problem. After a week of trapping the service tech informed me that there will be an additional charge for exclusion. When I talked to Adam he was argumentative and we ended in a screaming match. It's bs. And I don't feel i got what I paid for. Less than 2 weeks later I saw more pests after a spray. I understand it was a groupon but how do you not want to do a good job? I have a new baby and now I have to use another company and pay more money to get the job done. The girl on the phone told me if I pay twice as much or get a monthly subscription I would have better results. I asked her why I would give her company more money every month when I know the spray doesn't work monthly. She said their work is not guaranteed. I do not recommend JS Pest Control. The first time they sprayed my house they took their time and did a good job, but every time after that they usually spend about 2-3 min spraying and would not get everywhere. I still had issues with bugs. They would usually fix the spider issues, but I would still get live roaches in my house. What irritates me is they cost way too much. Other Pest Control services do not cost as much and do a much better job. They are also dishonest because after the first appointment the bug man gave me a paper to sign and said it was the receipt. I should of read it because it was a 1 year contract that has a $60 cancellation free. There are no bug issues in the winter.... I tried to explain this to them, but they do not care. JS pest control is the best in town. A locally owned business that cares for their customers. I called JS pest control with an "ant emergency" for a home I was putting up for sale the next morning. Someone arrived at my home within 30 minutes and listened to my concerns about getting the ants and other pests out immediately. The pests were killed and gone within 24 hours. Further, the gentleman that came to do it was friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Best customer service I have ever had. It is a little pricier if you get a one time only service- but it's a business they have to make money and it was still very reasonable considering the service and customer service. They said they would call me back to find a tech to come to my house the very same day. They even called me back within 15 minutes to tell me that they didn't forget about me and that they were waiting for a call back from the tech. Who does that? It was easy to get an appointment. However, the first time we used them we were still seeing black pincher bugs. The following month we tried them again and we are now seeing spiders! The pest control worked for the cockroaches, but we never had an issue with seeing either of the black pincher bugs or spiders until we used js pest control. I AM VERY UNSATISFIED with their service. Initially they told us their was no contract but then had me sign a "receipt" for their service that was in fact a year contract. The first time they sprayed my house for bugs they took their time and did a decent job but every time after that they did a terrible job and would not even wait for me to answer the door to them so I could tell them what problem areas to spray or whether or not I needed them to spray the inside of my home. I timed their service one time and the man literally took 3 minutes to spray the outside and then left. He had not even done the full outside of my house before he got in his truck and took off. That was the last straw for me and I tried to cancel because of their extremely poor job. They would not let me cancel unless I paid for the remaining services that they are no longer obligated to provide because of my cancellation. I explained my situation and they still said that there is no way they can void my contract even though I was lied to and their service was not up to par. The woman named Maria I spoke to on the phone was polite but I am highly disappointed in the way they run their business. I am very happy with their monthly service from a very reliable, thorough and friendly service provider named Roscoe. When I bought both homes, there was a roach and red ant problem at these locations. I have not seen either within a month of their service beginning. Do not purchase box spring encasements from this company. Better yet, don't use their service at all. JS Pest Control's response is "I believe that after the customer purchased the encasements from us she found them cheaper at bed bath and beyond, she then purchased them there and I believe damaged the ones she purchased from us believing if they were damaged she would get her money back." My response: I did purchase a new encasement from Bed Bath & Beyond the same day I emailed the photos of damaged encasements to JS Pest Control, 5/11/2015. These encasements were damaged by the JS Pest Control tech since they were the ones who put them on (I was not at home at that time). I was not going to risk the potential of bed bugs escaping the box springs, so I purchased them immediately. I did not find them cheaper at Bed Bath & Beyond; in fact, they are more expensive and of superior quality. With an issue as sensitive as pest control, I am not pinching pennies on encasements. Not only did I have to purchase new encasements, but I also went through a different company for bed bug treatment of one of the rooms just a month later. JS Pest Control did not move furniture in one of the rooms they were paid to treat (that is part of the service). Pest Control Solutions, Inc, fulfilled the terms of their service and to a much higher standard than JS Pest Control. The service I paid for and received from JS Pest Control, from the bed bug chemical treatment to encasements is deplorable. At this time, I do not intend to dispute any portion of the $600 bed bug home treatment; however, I do expect to get money back for the encasements damaged by the JS Pest Control technician as they were the ones who put them on my box springs. This is just a small portion of the $865 they swindled from me. It is not nearly an equitable remedy, but it is a resolution. read more
