We had a new roof put on our home and boy did we pick the wrong roofer. From the beginning to the…read moreend this was a nightmare. They did sloppy work and spent more time fixing the damage they caused and the errors they made than putting on the roof. To make matters worse, no one on site spoke English and to say it was extremely difficult to communicate would be an understatement. We had a huge leek into in our house and they refuse to fix the roof or pay for the water damage. We were told it was not there issue and there is no warantee. The roof is about a year old and cost approximately $40,000.00. I am writing this review to save anyone else this experience.

They were hacking away at the ice with hammers and the house was shaking so I made them stop before finishing. I felt much more comfortable with just the raking. Once the snow melted, I noticed dents and paint chipping on the gutters. Mind you, I just had the house painted the summer before this winter so the paint on the gutters was fresh! I let it slide because I thought I could just paint over it, but then I had a roofer look at a skylight on another part of the house and while on the roof he noticed that the shingles had also been damaged as well as an area of the drip edge where they had been hammering. Mind you I have a new roof in good condition! I was displeased at this point, but when I made John aware of the damage, he promised to come out three times and never showed. When he finally did show up he denied that they had anything to do with the damage and told me that they had removed ice dams in other locations. When he had come out to look at the job, I pointed out the bay window, which was leaking, above which the worst of the ice dam was! And I was here when his workers were hammering away, and I know they were working on the same spot where the damage was. He just does not want to pay for the damage, given how extensive it is. This guy has no integrity when something goes wrong. I would not do business with him. I'm sure he's fine if everything goes right, but sometimes things don't go right. He seems really nice before he takes the job and makes a lot of promises, but he just wants the sale and doesn't care about the quality of the job. My other concern is I'm a single woman trying to take care of my house by myself. There is no man here and I feel like he feels like he can take advantage of that and there are no consequences. He came on the date that we agreed and called me prior to arriving. After installation, an issue came up and he returned my phone call. He returned to my home on a SUNDAY to address the issue! I also had a Leaf Relief gutter guard system installed and so far I have been pleased with it. I look forward to hiring Gutter King to clear the gutters on my home later in the season.

I've been calling since Jan. 2024 with water coming down wall where chimney is, staining wall in living room. I've made appointments, spoke with Chris in Feb., now its March. Several missed appointments. Water damage worse now. Finally called and asked for them to be honest and if they didn't want my job because its not an entire roof. Said they will show up but I'm not holding my breathe. I started researching chimney masons. Too bad because they are pleasant on the phone but Noel has been using the same roof job excuse for months. I just saw a roof go up in my neighborhood in 2 days. Maybe I will call them for an estimate. Update...I'm changing to 4 stars from 1. Friday 3/15/24 I received a call from Noel that the worker, Anthony, was in my driveway. It was scheduled for Monday. I received no courtesy call changing the day and keeping me posted. I'm taking a star off for their scheduling issues. Anthony gets 5 stars. They are lucky they have a knowledgeable worker. He is great. I would recommend but will add to keep calling if scheduling an appointment.

I called specifically for gutter repair and leaf guard installation, and he showed up on time, explained everything clearly, did high-quality work. We talked seamless gutters, gutter cleaning, really I needed to get everything gone tbh haha. I was delaying stuff. But any type of gutter service, this is the company to call. Honest, reliable, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend Crown Gutters for any residential or commercial gutter project.

We chose H&J based not only on price, but reputation. The job started quickly, and despite adverse weather conditions, was finished when promised. More importantly, the work was professionally executed. Steve came by daily to oversee the process and discuss the project with me. Alan, Anibal, Rony and Darwin were great! We have dogs and they were unbelievably cooperative when the dogs needed to go out. They constantly confirmed gates were closed and the yard was secure. End result? The roof is BEAUTIFUL and properly done. I have been in building maintenance and management for 30 years and have overseen multi-million dollar roof projects.
