These guys were great. I have nothing but great things to say about the team I had helping me move…read moreyesterday. They were no nonsense, professional, and very efficient. It was a difficult job, with one large, heavy, complicated bookcase that had to get disassembled, moved and reassembled. They knocked it out like absolute pros. I also had an extra large sofa that almost didn't make it through the door.. they never gave up and ultimately got it inside using top notch problem solving skills. Did my freshly painted wall and ceiling get a little scuffed up? Yes, but something is always going to get a little banged up during a move, that's just reality. A small price to pay for overall excellence, and I'll be able to touch up the paint myself easily enough. Best moving experience I've ever had. These guys are great. 100% recommended. Thanks again!

David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

Avoid This Company at All Costs They Allow Employees to Defecate in Your Home with NO Repercussions…read moreTHERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER IN THE BATHROOM. NO soap. I recently hired Top Dog for a move -- and it turned out to be the worst decision I've made all year. During the move, one of the movers entered my private bathroom without asking permission. He remained in there for several minutes, during which I was still being charged for his time. This was not only unprofessional but also a clear violation of boundaries. When I called the company to address the matter, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The representative told me he "didn't see a problem" and compared the situation to letting a mover use his own bathroom. I explained that my bathroom had been professionally cleaned the day before -- and I had not even used it myself yet. I requested they arrange for it to be cleaned again, but my concern was brushed off. I was told they would "call back after speaking with the worker," but I never received any follow-up. No apology. No offer of resolution. No discount. Nothing. This company demonstrated a complete lack of respect for its customers and their property. Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding Top Dog for any moving needs.

For the second time, my wife and I utilized the wonderful services of On The Move, moving company…read moreand had excellent results. I shopped around for various moving company quotes which ranged in under $1000 to over $4000. Primarily, I looked at 3 things to help in selecting a moving company: 1) Reviews 2) Price and 3) Location. As we were moving houses in-state (from Cumming to Duluth), it was important to find one that was not very far away. My wife and I made several smaller trips to the new house with boxes to help save on the costs. Pro Tip: - If you're able, consider moving smaller boxes by yourself piece by piece. This saves overall time on the day of move and their final quote. - I disassembled as much furniture as I could before they arrived. (bed frames, mirrors in boxes etc.)As such, the movers told me how grateful they were and also helped to lower the final costs a bit. Setting up the move: - Simple process of going to their website and submitting items needing moved. Since we had mostly the heavy bulky furniture, it made quoting process simple. - Once I narrowed down OTM, I made contact Lauren W. via phone who was very friendly and responsive. I informed her that I had an upright piano that I requested to be moved and she made sure to put in the work notes that the movers would need a piano dolly. - I paid a $150 deposit to "lock in" the date. Communication: - OTM movers were very responsive with keeping me updated with times of arrival and any questions answered. - They sent emails a few days before the move and the day before. They also called about an hour before they arrived to do a final confirmation. Day of Move: - On the day of the move, the crew (Joseph, Jayson, and Archie) showed up on time with their big box truck. - They greeted me then did a walk through to ensure they understood all the items needing moved. Once they understood, they went to work and started in. You could tell they were pros in how they communicated to each other with how they lifted and moved items. - From start to finish at the "old house" took about 2-3 hours. - I informed them that the piano had gotten damaged by other movers in the past and I did not want it to happen again. They made sure that it was handled with care, and it was. - After everything was moved to the truck and tied down, they did a final walk through with me to ensure they had not missed anything. - As it was getting close to lunch, Joseph communicated that they would be taking about an hour break and would meet me at the new house. - They arrived at the new house on time, then I told them where the furniture would need to go. They again started transporting the furniture. - 2 guys typically unloaded while the third assembled. - After everything was unloaded from the truck, I did a final walkthrough with Jayson to ensure everything was where it needed to be, no damage was present and if I needed them to readjust or remove anything. Costs: - While the quote was estimated between 850-950, the actual cost was 1331.69, which I felt was fair. - I paid with check and they lowered the overall cost a bit to wave processing fees if using a CC. Pros: - Joseph (crew chief), Jayson, and Karchie did a great job. They were friendly, enthusiastic, hard working, and communicated well. - They moved 2 heavy refrigerators at the "new house" when asked. - They appreciated that I had taken time to disassemble furniture beforehand and didn't have many boxes they had to pack or load. Cons: Minor complaints: these can be corrected by their crews being more aware of surroundings at customers houses. - They left used and empty tape rolls, soda bottles and trash in the rooms instead of cleaning them up. - After they had left for lunch, I did a walk-through at the "old house" and discovered one of them had forgotten to take their drill they used to assemble some furniture. They were glad when I gave it to them and seemed embarrassed that it had happened. Final thoughts: - OTM is a great company to have you help with your move. I felt the prices were fair and the workers they employed were great. - While we didn't run into serious issues (furniture damaged, personnel problems etc.) I'm confident that OTM upper leadership would not hesitate to make sure the problem was corrected and alleviated. - Another happy customer for OTM!

I would love to be able to give College Hunks a good review because I did really like some of the…read morepeople I dealt with, and the move captain Michael was very efficient. Unfortunately, however, I cannot give them a good review - for several reasons. First of all, they misquoted me by over $1000, so I had to unexpectedly adjust my budget. Second of all, they confirmed that they would be able to complete my move in one day, which was not the case. As a client, I need to be able to rely on their quote in terms of time and money, so that I can plan accordingly. This left me scrambling to find a place to stay the night at the very last minute because I could not stay the night in my new place, as originally planned. They then assigned some additional movers to the job as they had misquoted it and realized that they would need extra people in order to finish on time. Unfortunately, one of those movers damaged a table leg and also just dumped my boxes all in the same room, so that I had to scramble to explain to the team that I do need the boxes to be placed in the labeled rooms, as I do not have the capacity as a single woman to lug them into those rooms myself. I was informed that it was this mover's first day on the job, but nevertheless he should have been instructed to place the boxes in the appropriate rooms. I paid an upcharge to purchase insurance in case of damages, and filed a claim in a timely manner. Staff member Brittni Nantz repeatedly reassured me that the claim had been processed and I would receive compensation soon. This unfortunately went on for months to the point where I called the College Hunks headquarters who then informed me that in actual fact a claim had never been filed in the first place. They then filed a claim for me, but informed me that I would still have to wait to hear back from this branch of College Hunks, which unfortunately I never did. I don't know what went wrong here, but to this day I have not received compensation for the damaged items, which left a really nasty taste in my mouth because nobody likes being lied to. I don't feel that as a client I deserved this treatment because I tipped the movers, was patient and reasonable when things didn't go as planned and even treated everybody to lunch. College Hunks (and branch owner Omar Nieves) - if you read this: I would still love to resolve this matter because it saddens me greatly that I have to leave a negative review of your company. This is not something I do lightly, but I am highly disappointed that I was repeatedly assured that you had filed a claim for damages and then ultimately I never received a payout and you essentially ignored my emails and my attempts to contact you about this. That is neither professional nor fair, and I deserve better. I invite you to act with integrity and contact me to resolve this matter, and I will be more than happy to change my review if you do because I am hoping that this is not representative of your business and, if it is, that is rather sad that you do not attach importance to treating your clients with more integrity. For clarity: my move was from Savannah to Atlanta, and I originally did business with Omar Nieves and his team when Omar owned the Savannah branch before it was sold to a different owner. I was then informed that Omar and his team had switched to the Jasper branch. This is why I am posting my review on the Jasper page, in hopes that you, Omar, and your team will read this and that we can finally resolve this case to our mutual satisfaction. Thank you in advance:-).

In October of 2024 we moved a 3/2 house from one part of Atlanta to the other. In the process a King-size mattress came out of the bag and was damaged. We paid for insurance on this move...we provided photos, etc. etc. for the mattress. We were told numerous times that "a check will be processed" & "we will get back to you". TO NO AVAIL - I cannot tell you how many times my husband & I have called them; It's many months down the road now & this company has still decided to NOT do the right thing. The owner (Omar) hides behind Brittney his scheduler and refuses to even have a conversation. STAY AWAY from the shady dealings of this company.
