I had an emergency on Saturday (11.18.17). I called JSP and Joe answered the phone while servicing another customer on a roof of a building down county. He arrived at my house in Montrose at around 4:00. Over the next 2 1/2 hours, Joe strategically plotted a course of action to diagnose and eventually remove an obstruction in my main drain line. Through the use of high pressure water jetting and video camera monitoring, Joe worked tirelessly in very challenging conditions. It was cold, dark, and raining. He spent a lot of time on his hands and knees, in the mud, and with his head in my septic tank aligning the jetting hose in the drain inlet that was offset and difficult to navigate. I was impressed with Joe's diligence, positive attitude and relentless approach to identifying all practical repair options one would expect from a seasoned contractor. Through the video camera monitoring, Joe also developed a means and methods solution to eliminate roots found in the line. He was organized, respectful of my home and personal space, and accommodating to my time for scheduling a next steps appointment. His time and material pricing seemed very reasonable, and I truly felt that he didn't take advantage of my desperation in managing this weekend emergency service call. I googled JSP relying solely on YELP reviews as a reference guide. It was a leap of faith to engage Joe, but I'm very happy that he answered the phone when I called. We own a rental property and on an early Sunday morning we had a call from the tenant reporting that the sinks and dishwasher weren't draining. We called several local plumbers and got what is best described as lukewarm responses. We wanted a local business and one that would respond that day. We checked the listings and called JSP Sewer & Drain Cleaning. The owner (Joe) answered on the second ring of the phone. Explained the problem and he said he'd be there in an hour. Joe showed up in less than an hour, and went right to work. The plumbing problem turned out to be a bigger problem magnified by the fact that the property was an older house and had been renovated a few times over the years. Joe has state of the art equipment, he knows how and when to use it and equally important because of his experience, how to fix the problem. The plumbing problem turned out to be a broken main and waste water line, not an easy job to repair. I had a recurring drain pipe clog, maybe 30' in, that I've had to have snaked annually. But this year I decided to try JSP instead of the other "roto" companies I usually use. After a large effort, Joe got it flowing again, but here's what makes him special. He could have left after the water drained, I would have been content, but he went way above and beyond by getting into the main trap of the house. This is not an easy job by any means, you should have seen it. Laying on his stomach and stretching his body into a pit, digging his hands into a trap that probably hasn't been touched in decades, and pulling out the grossest globs of stuff I've ever seen. But you see, the water was already flowing, he didn't have to do that, but his sense of diligence is very strong and he persevered until it was completely clean. I've never had any professional work so hard, it was amazing. You can't go wrong hiring this guy. He also could have charge a lot more than he did, but he had quoted a number before he arrived and didn't want to stray too far. He is truly a decent guy and I recommend him highly. read more

If only we found him sooner!!! We had a main waste line break in May & a local plumber changed it out for us. Found out this week, not correctly & we were developing clogs & back ups in the line. After a few ridiculous estimates (where we had to do some of the labor) we found JSP. Great work. Called and he came right when he said he was coming. Professional from the beginning. He checked all my drains in my house and also knew exactly what my problem was. Offered me different solutions, which I choose to snake and jet the main line. While working he put a camera in the sewer line to show me before and after the jetting. Great job Joe. We had 140 plus feet of blocked street drain packed with gravel, sand, clay. Joe worked his butt off for close to 4 hours to unclog this nasty job.
