I always use b&J's they are wonderful I was trying to call them one night when my toilet overflowed into the shower but my management company wouldn't let me heritage hills management wouldn't let me use them because we had to use snake drain their company who charged me a fortune didn't charge me they're trying to charge me The management companies trying to send me an invoice for $433 which I know it was an outside drain but that's besides the point I wanted to use b&J's cuz they were always great and nice but they would not let me so if you live in a complex the best thing to do is just hire b & J's no matter what the management says cuz they're going to rip you off anyway it's called heritage hills management b & J's came out right away fix whatever problems and I need a few forces put in they put them in really good I give this company a five-star rating I would never use electric snake from Bruce I'm sorry to say it on their website but b&J's are fantastic it's a family-run business and it's been in mahopac for years nothing went well. They flooded my ceiling. That I just had fixed. And they were very expensive, so do not use drain snake drain company. I had no choice because of my complex. And I knew they were gonna blame it on me. Because they both worked together, they both scams. The drain company and the manned Heritage Hills management. First of all, there's no inside drain that costs $433 to clock to unclog. I called 2 plumbing companies. The first one never returned my call. They answered the phone when I called and happened to have a service person available at that time. I had trouble with a leaky toilet. They troubleshot the problem, which turned out to be a rusty pipe leading to the shut-off valve and fixed it. They explained everything they did, put coverings on their shoes and cleaned up after they finished. Highly recommend! read more

They came to my home January 25th I've been calling to get them back since January 27. Today we are second week of February. They take my info say they'll have the owner email or call and they never do. All the water in my home was turned off. Certain areas still aren't working and they don't even have the decency to get someone back to my home. But they 100% made sure to send me that bill within 5 days of the completion of fixing a single pipe and shutting off all my water. Ironic. read more

It is not easy to find well-rated plumbers, licensed in Putman, who are interested in the little odd jobs. When I called Bee & Jay, I was mainly hoping they could give me a recommendation for a plumber that would do small plumbing jobs Lori in the office is fantastic! She asked about the work needed, gave pricing upfront, and we booked the appt. Done & Easy. The plumbers called before showing up to let us know they were on their way. On Monday last week, we had two gentlemen come to our house to fix a cracked sewer pipe in our basement. They discussed how to fix it and took pictures and said they would get back to us with an estimate. After a few days, we were informed that the boss had to come out to look at the job. So on Friday, the boss came out and this is what he said "this is going to cost you your left nut" not very professional in my opinion. In this day and age he had no idea who is was talking to. I called Bee and Jay on a Saturday morning with a total system backup. They responded within a few hours. Although they were unable to help (it was a massive sewer problem, not a toilet/line clog problem) but they referred me to a great company, Electric Snake. When I got a bill from them the compassionate person at the office corrected the billing problem, since they didn't do any work. What great customer service! The Monday night before Thanksgiving, my upstairs toilet was leaking into the downstairs bathroom...the one my guests would be using in 3 days. I had never used Bee and Jay, but I decided to give them a shot based on the excellent reviews and the Angie's List Award that they had received. Laurie worked hard to get a crew out to me before Thanksgiving...and sure enough they came early Wednesday and had everything fixed in several hours. Gene and Jim were great...they lived up to all the positive reviews that I had read. They were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly and cleaned up thoroughly. A holiday disaster averted thanks to Bee and Jay. I have used many plumbers over the years, but was never satisfied so I changed whenever a new problem arose. We have had work done before and while they are very over priced it was satisfactory. This time the canceled they one appt the day of, rescheduled for 2 days later and never showed up after I waited all day for them. We had no water. Called them on Tuesday afternoon, someone was here on Wednesday morning to diagnose the problem. We needed a well conversion. Two men (Gene and Mike) came Thursday morning and did the conversion. Gene explained everything they did and when they left we had water. Gene and Mike were very nice and professional. The best was they cleaned up after themselves. You would never know they were here except for the fact that everything looks new. Called and spoke to a man who said he was the owner and he refused to repair what I had - said the house could "blow up".
