I visited for the first time tonight and have no negative comments. I arrived 20 minutes early and was greeted warmly. The check in tablet was very straightforward and easy to use. When it was my turn to have my nails done, a gentleman led me to a table and brought me a complimentary water. After showing them the design I wanted, they told me that they would let Annie do my nails since the design was a little complex. I did have to wait longer but I didn't mind. I was seated next to a long-time regular who raved about Annie and that made me feel a lot more comfortable in a new salon. The crew stayed late to make sure my nails were what I wanted. While there after hours, a woman came in with a broken nail. They didn't hesitate to help her and all for free. That stood out to me as they could've turned her away but chose not to. At the end of it all, a full set cost $70 and Annie almost didn't let me tip her because I had to wait longer than usual. I'll definitely be going back from now on. read more

Came here on a semi urgent issue of the beginning an ingrown toe nail. Been wearing new shoes and while visiting here I noticed the pain on the side of my Toe. I was able to get an appt immediately. Th place has been renovated nicely and Tam was so helpful making sure he understood what I needed. Annie was able to gently but very effectively remove the affected area. After I received a pedicure but the person, who I did not it get her name, was not that great. This is the only reason for one star knockdown. I will def return if ever in town. read more

My parents and I are in Huntsville from Kentucky to visit family for a couple of days and we all decided on a whim that we wanted a pedicure. A-L had the best Yelp reviews closest to our location so we decided to give it a try. Three of us walked in right at opening at 9:00 and said we needed pedicures. Tom and Jim didn't blink an eye and got us into chairs immediately. Tom called for back-up and within 15 minutes Chanel was walking in the door to assist. They accommodated us without an appointment and it was very much appreciated. Jim did my Momma and my pedicures and he was so thorough and paid attention to detail. He took a brush at the end to make sure there were no errors with the polish. Their prices were more than fair and COVID precautions were definitely being followed. I've been to this salon 3 times already & wanted to write a fair review. First off, A-L Nails is very clean and relaxing. If they have the availability- they'll take you, if not they'll ask you politely to make an appointment and come back so they can provide the best service. The main reason why I've been coming back to this place is because every time I go there they make sure to take their time to provide you the service requested without rushing and speeding! I've been to a couple salons in Madison where they just need to get you in the chair and then want to get you out of it within 30 min or less. 3rd time here and they always take their time to make sure your nails are clean, beautiful and perfect. The owners are extremely friendly, sweet and are very helpful. They give you a longer foot massage just because. And help you put on shoes if you're pregnant and need assistance. read more

This nail salon is nice. The ladies were so sweet as it was my birthday and I told them "no expense spared" so i went with the upgraded Mani and upgraded pedi were the choice of the day. I had an appt at 430 but it wasn't necessary because only one other client was there on this Friday before presidents day. They use masks, gloves and all other barrier items to protect you and them. They have 8 pedi chairs two of which are for children and will do your Mani (whatever flavor) while simultaneously doing your pedi which I appreciate it saves time. They love what they do as you hear them converse and carry on picking at each other in a fun loving way. Why bother 5th star? No vino. No water offered. This would elevate the relaxation of a high end Mani pedi which includes massage and guess what? Stem and Stein is right next door. Next time I'll bring my own. This is the real deal. Nice clean hygenic salon with a 100 health rating so I'll be back. Oh and they help you select your colors and aren't all about an upgrade. I was only interested in a basic Mani vice a gel manicure. I don't like the damage gel does. I saw posters for SNS nails which i believe is the latest trend in gel-like nails but more healthy. The other suggestion I would make is to use the pedi bowl liners. I saw a box of them and noticed they did not use them. That okay I felt it isn't a deal breaker but why not use them if you have them. Thanks a-l for a lovely Mani pedi bday experience. read more

Our experience at A-L nails and spa was a wonderful experience! We arrived, and surprisingly, there was no wait! We were seated and two very comfortable chairs, with the massage options of course! The chairs were newer models of the massage chairs that you typically see nail salons. What we were most impressed with was the cleanliness of the salon, and the area in general. The technicians were top notch, friendly, and did such a wonderful job. The salon was not simply clean in general, it was very obvious that the technicians took great care in ensuring that best practices we're bring observed (for example, disposable filers/sanders), complete drainage of the tabs, and a wall-to-wall sanitation to thoroughly clean the areas prior of usage of the area. The spa has a relaxing atmosphere, as the technicians go out of their way you make you feel at home. There is even designated parking spots directly in front of the spa to allow you quick and easy access. I'm surprised there's not more reviews of this place posted in Yelp! This place exceeded all of the standards that I am normally cost into in terms of nail salons/spas. There is even a fantastic wings/Korean restaurant next-door, and a wine bar in which you can do wine tasting/ wine shopping some impressive import and domestic wines and an extensive list of beers from all over the world and within the United States. Can I just say wow. The people at A-L Nails were really friendly and went the extra mile to give me the best nails I've ever had. I got a gel pedicure and had my calluses removed which was a great experience. A-L is up to date on the new trends and I was able to get almond shaped SNS nails (which I'm told are better for your nails than acrylics). I love the way they look and feel! I did not happen to get the name of the gentleman that work on me (whom was also a California transplant) but he did a really fantastic job. I will for sure be going back! I asked for red nails with a little white design and she overdid it and left the lines messy, and got nail polish all over my cuticles and skin. Do not recommend coming here at all. I don't do stuff like this often (maybe my 4th pedicure, my 2nd manicure ever) and it was my first time going to this place. When the guy asked if I wanted gel polish or regular polish, I asked what the price difference was. He said same price but a lady came behind him and said "no, the gel is $20 extra." I'm not sure if he truly didn't know or if he was trying to scam me out of $20. He gave me regular like I asked so everything turned out fine. The combo cost $45. I was visiting from out of town and this salon caught my eye. I got SNS (dip powder) and they turned out beautifully. The salon I go to at home costs about $35 for the service, but it was $40 for single color SNS here, which was no biggie. The employees were pleasant and nice. My technician was great, however had to keep stopping to assist other customers. I was honestly annoyed with two of their customers,them. I came in Friday night for a set of acrylics and gel polish. I didn't notice until I got home that the acrylic was extremely uneven and on some of my cuticles and the polish was missing on several areas of my nails. I tried to call to speak to a manager about getting them redone. However, the very rude man who answered the phone told me he didn't know when a manager would be in and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked why he hung up on me without answering any of my questions and his response was "I'm not a manager, I can't answer your questions" and hung up on me again.
