Idk how or why yall gave this place a good rating. It's important as a nail tech to let the client know of your inabilities. Not being able to do a decent french tip is pathetic. Take your service elsewhere.

AWFULLLLL EXPERIENCE!!!! Nails were thin as paper. Chipped the second day I got them done. Went back to get that nail fixed, they almost refused to do my nails. The guy in the shop was VERY rude to me. 3rd day, 5 of them were chipped and broken. Lifting as well. THICH CUTICLES!! I originally asked for Square shape, some of them were coffin shaped. All of my French tips looked different. Acrylic was not evenly applied. Just an overall AWFUL job. I would NEVER recommend this shop to ANYONE!!! Waste of money

I've been going Crystal Nail since 2018, and they've never missed. The service is excellent every single time. Kim and Stanley are genuinely kind, honest people who run their shop with care, and it shows in the consistency of their work. Their daughter-in-law is incredibly talented with nail designs, she always delivers exactly what I'm hoping for (and usually better!). A friend referred crystal nails to us. It was a win! Immediately I noticed the cleanliness of the business. I was also impressed with the friendliness of Stanley and Kim. My elderly mother was very hesitant because of previous technicians from other businesses. But quickly after entering and being seated, she felt safe and it was a very pleasant experience for the both of us. Kim took lots of time with my mom, because of her thick toenails. Mom and I had a great mother/daughter day and will definitely be back for future pedicures read more

Clean, polite, and efficient. I've come twice and left happy with my gel nails. There's plenty of parking. I would recommend calling ahead as I think only two people (couple) work there. So you may want to plan accordingly. The colors are nice. They don't have a lot of variety, but the ones they do are classy and elegant! read more

It have been a long time since I have gotten the type of service like what I received from Kim. Her high ratings on this app are truly legitimate! Environment: The Nail Salon was very clean and organized! The 100 rating was visible at the front of the business! Impressive! Service: Kim was so friendly. I had a few work calls and she did not complain at all. This was not the norm for me, but she really made me feel relaxed with her warm personality. She is truly all about good customer service. Nails: I was so impressed! This was the first time my nails were correctly reinforced. Her finished product looked so natural I immediately planned for my pedicure. Conclusion: Not only did Kim earn a new repeat customer, but also she earned my respect for being an excellent business owner. read more

I'm new here to Alabama and I had tried another shop that did an OK job the first two times I went and then the third time my nails were breaking and the gel polish coming off the same week I had them done. I ended up taking them all myself they looked so bad. SO I went to Crystal Nail & Spa to get a new set and start fresh. I love how my nails look. The person on the phone told me she did the designs but would be out of the shop. She asked me to show the other tech my style when I arrived to see if she could do it. When I arrived, everyone was friendly and the shop was clean. Each tech's credentials were listed and their health score was 100. There was one other customer and I was seated immediately. There was no water in the bowl and I really didn't have a chance to soak my feet which was strange since no one was waiting to be seen but that was fine. Gel has a $10 up charge but it was noted on the menu which I appreciate. I showed the other tech my photo and she confirmed that she would be unable to do that design. I guess I didn't make it clear that I still wanted my hands done so I told her that as my pedicure was ending. I move to the table and she cuts all of my nails off. Then, the other customer and I are told to switch places. The gentleman begins working on my nails. He adds the tips, rounds them per the new photo and then begins to add the dip powder. He finishes four of my five nails and then points to his hand and apologizes. One nail was a bit mishapen so I thought he was maybe apologizing for that. He continues to apologize and starts taking the powder off. I asked, "Do you not like any?" and he responds, "No." I assured him that it was okay and everyone has days. I wasn't upset or anything but I also was thinking maybe he's starting over. Then, not only does he take off the powder, he takes off the tips. All the while, the other tech has finished the other customer but isn't jumping in to assist-just checks me out. And yes, I still tipped. So, now I'm left with no nails and no explanation. Oh, and when I got home and looked at my pedicure it was spotty, the gel isn't even across my toes-no pic because I don't like my feet. It was strange and really just disappointing. I don't think I'll be back.

While I was at the car wash spot a couple shops down, I made the quick decision to walk over to this nail shop to get a pedicure during my wait. As soon as I walked through the door, I quickly realized I made a great decision by coming here. I was immediately greeted with the warmest and sincerest welcome by the owners, Stanley and Kim. It's a brand new shop and everything is in immaculate condition. The atmosphere within the shop is unlike every other nail shop I've been to including the one I went to just a few days ago for dip powder. It didn't just seem like a job for them, it seemed regret not knowing of Crystal Nails & Spa before getting my nails done a few days ago at the other place because this shop here has a wider range of color selections for gel and dip powders along with the owners telling me that there are more colors to come. However, I was very impressed with what that had so far. When it came to my actual pedicure, Mr. Stanley was phenomenal in taking care of me and my ticklish feet. Him and Mrs. Kim showed me great hospitality the whole time I was there and I was very satisfied with the finished look. They gained a new customer in me with the wonderful customer service and great finished results. Thank you! read more

Well.. I normally go to a different nail saloon in Madison, until I realized they were closed for remodel. I was on a limb about getting my nails done at a new place but let me tell you, this experience was none the less of perfect. I'm so quick to critique and question are they going to ask me to wash my hands before polish, are they going to see this and that, to the point I can't even enjoy the moment of peace without my toddler. But this place was GREAT. She even trimmed my cuticles before they even started with my nails and I was in shock. My "go to place" never did that. Then I had the pedi done, she didn't hand me some 4 page book like my other saloon does, so I was confused about pricing, but no, the price on the wall was the price I got, no hidden fees lol. The venue is always clean and the (two) workers are very friendly. They follow COVID protocols and I leave with happy results every time. One time I came for just a gel manicure and decided last minute that I would like a pedicure; they accommodated my sudden request despite it being closing hours. Definitely recommend! I would call ahead and schedule as they don't have staff and are usually busy. read more
