Great tasting green Thai tea. The interior of the boba shop was extremely hot, wish they turn their ac on. I felt like I was standing outside when I walked in. Overall, drinks tasted great and I would come back. Only thing they need to fix is turning the AC on instead of trying to save some money on the bills

Brown collection - milk tea with sea salt creama

This place really surprised me! Came here with my friends after we moved alot of stuff and wow! Very popular spot for a tuesday night that really gives that vietnam night cafe vibe. There are three tables available outside to enjoy the night breeze. They offer a variety of small vietnamese snacks, milk tea, and viet coffee. Got the brown collection which is a milk tea with sea salt crema, brown sugar boba, chocolate, and milk jello. It tasted absolutely wonderful! Pair this with a banh trang tron (rice paper salad) and I would say, you'll have a great evening catching up with friends. Underrated spot located on 1960, I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

I was surprised to see that a JTea had opened up so close to me and knew I had to go try it. I got the green collection as well as some fried fish balls tossed in fish sauce. The food came out hot and fresh and the drink was refreshing. There are a lot of toppings that come in the green collection so it actually made me very full. Service is quick here and workers are friendly. The space is open and there are a few tables so you can hang out and/or work. It does get pretty warm during the summer.

Milk Tea No.5 - Okinawa Signature Blend (no ice)

The drink quality itself is better than your average boba spot and provides a great description. Planning to save it for later, I asked for no ice. The staff was not the friendliest and left me a drink that is less than half full. I do understand the concept of following the recipe which calls for "x" mL of tea, however, even filling the rest of the cup with ice, the drink does not reach the top of the cup.

I've been going to JTea for 15+ years alternating with both locations. Love their green milk tea, banh mi, canh ga, and other snacks. They've recently changed their bigger straws, and now they're giving straws that don't have wrappers. Employees grab it with their hands and give me straws, don't know if their hands have been washed and it's unsanitary. Please change your straws back.

I tried the sea salt jasmine green tea here. The tea itself was a good amount of sweetness at 50% and had a prominent floral taste. The cream on top was rich, creamy, and delightful. As for the rice paper salad, it had a good assortment of toppings and the sauce tied everything together nicely... good portion size too. The place itself is decorated nicely and not a bad place to study if you wanted to, though I'd probably bring some headphones to block out the music.

What a cute place! The decorations and seating area are super cute, I love the ambiance. Their drink menu is not too large but has some unique items. I got the Sea Salt Jasmine Tea, which I thought was very good. The snacks are the highlights though! Both stir fry corn and the mixed fish balls were so delicious! I wish I got some more to take home. They made drinks and food really fast, and also helpful with recommendations. I would definitely be back!

The boba had just the right texture and consistency. The drinks at normal sweetness were still a little too sugary for us, but overall, we were pleased with the product. The staff were friendly and nice. We would definitely come back if ever in the area. The store is not in a trendy part of Houston, but inside, the decor is still very inviting.

Finally a decent boba place in my area. When it comes to boba, my family are very particular on their drinks. My husband and daughter ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Jellos and I had the tiramisu milk tea with jellies. Both husband and daughter enjoyed their drinks, I felt like my drink was a little underwhelming. Its a little expensive, three drinks were about $18. Might not come here as often but only when a family member craves it.

I absolutely love J-Tea. Although i'm not too keen on their milk teas their tropical fruit tea is one of my favorite drinks of all time! It's super refreshing in the texas heat and the fruit and jellies are such a treat. This boba shop is very cutely decorated with tons of seating. There's even a cute place for a photo-op! The service has always been very quick and all the boba baristas here are very friendly. The only thing I would have to complain about is the price, as $7 a cup the tropical fruit teas are definitely a tad bit overpriced but they taste amazing so I can't help but treat myself once in a while.

Panna cotta dessert (jellos, lychee and coconut water) (ice added upon request, not recommended)

The fruit tea was good. It had a variety of fresh fruit, ai yu jelly cubes and a refreshing tea flavor. The artichoke tea is brown here and tastes okay.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.

While this news door dash this really shows the level of customer service. I placed an order around 10:00 a.m. for 3 breakfast bagel sandwiches, a half-dozen bagels, and a cookie. It wasn't until roughly 10:45 that I received a message saying the bagel flavor I selected was unavailable. No big deal at all -- I responded immediately and said everything bagels would be great. Then... nothing. Two separate DoorDash drivers went to the restaurant and waited for the order. It still wasn't ready, and we received no meaningful update explaining what was happening. Finally, at around 12:30 p.m., more than two hours after we ordered breakfast, the delivery arrived with only the cookie. No breakfast sandwiches. No half-dozen bagels. Just a cookie. The most frustrating part wasn't even that the food didn't arrive. Restaurants get busy. Items sell out. Mistakes happen. The problem was the complete lack of communication. If someone had simply said, "We can't fulfill this order," we could have cancelled and ordered breakfast somewhere else. Instead, we waited for more than two hours and ended up without breakfast. Other reviewers may love the bagels, but unfortunately I never really got the opportunity to find out. For a first experience, this was a pretty telling example of the customer service, and there are too many other bagel shops in the area for me to risk repeating it.
