This is the update for the refund: Sadly I did not get my refund because according to my bank it was a money exchange that I approved. I have two options in getting my money back: 1. If somehow the Merchant (JTGLAMOUR) Jaymee Huerta refund me the money because she did not provide me any service. 2. I turn to a Legal Service Solution (Small Claims Court) to get my money back. Although I know I should continue this, but I no longer want to waste my energy on her. I will just think that she needs the money for her to refuse to contact me or refund it back. I had been researching local hair/make-up artists when I came across Jaymee's website. What first caught my attention was that she offered a bridal package, then after looking at pictures of her work and the prices- I HAD to book her for my wedding and I did. Her customer service is excellent! We had scheduled a trial within a few days and I sent her a couple pictures of what I had in mind. Throughout the trial she made a couple suggestions and I am so happy she did. She is a professional and knows what looks good. After leaving the trial I made my husband take me out because I looked so damn good ;). Wedding day Jaymee was on time (7am) to do myself, 4 bridesmaids, and two mothers. Her assistant came a bit later to help out. All 7 of us got lashes, hair, and make-up done on time (wedding started at 3). That morning I showed Jaymee a picture of purple eyeshadow I thought I wanted (to match flowers, accent colors), Jaymee suggested a warm and natural shadow and I am so glad I listened! Jaymee blew me away with her kindness, efficiency and professionalism on my wedding day. I was referred to use her through a friend of a friend and when I saw her prices I thought that it might be too good to be true since she was by far the most affordable hair and makeup artist I could find. The first time that Jaymee impressed me was at my hair and makeup trial. I had never gotten my hair or makeup professionally done before, and when I looked in the mirror after she finished I was nearly brought to tears because she had made me look like a princess. It was like going wedding dress shopping and finding the perfect dress. I knew that Jaymee absolutely had to be my hair and makeup artist. I booked her for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my guest of honor and my mom and she was able to get us all done and pretty for photos on time. I bought a wedding package through Jaymee, and so far, I've only had my trial hair and makeup done for my engagement photos. She made me look like a model!! My fiance almost had tears in his eyes when he looked at me (for that entire day!). She put my clip-in hair extensions in, which I highly recommend. You would have no idea they were even there because she blended them so well. She gave me loose curls, which looked fabulous! And she gave me good advise about my hair. She did an excellent job on the makeup. I didn't love the lip color she chose for me (light pink), so I asked her to do something different for the wedding. She only uses liquid makeup, which came out way better looking than I had expected! But if you are super oily, it may be helpful to bring a sheer mineral veil to powder up the look. I used Jaymee for hair and makeup for my wedding last month, and she was absolutely awesome. She squeezed me in, even though she had another wedding that morning, she was able to make the timing work. She sent over an assistant to get started on my bridesmaids and she came over shortly thereafter. Everyone looked beautiful and she was able to do some super cute hairstyles on two of my girls who had no idea how they wanted their hair. They kept saying "oh, just something simple, maybe up... or, half up... or, oh, I don't know". Her prices are incredibly reasonable too ! And, she is SUPER nice. I did two hair trials, because I was letting my hair grow out and wasn't sure how I wanted it, based on how long it would be by the time the wedding came around. I contacted her on short notice to do my hair and make-up for a Wedding Rehearsal dinner... not only was she sweet and kind, she got all the information she needed from me so the next day we could get right to work. The next morning I show up to her house and she was ready and waiting...All the make up set out ... The curling irons and brushes ready to go. I told her I didn't have much hair to work with since it's rather short, but I wanted to look beautiful and different! And Wow...did she deliver. She added extensions to my hair with no extra charge. .. and since I have never used them she explained to me how to care for them and put them in...my hair looked amazing! Jaymee did my hair and make-up for my destination wedding at City Hall. Since this was a short trip, we had no time for a trial run. I knew I 'd have to find someone who's work spoke for itself. I found Jaymee online and she was affordable and had pictures of really beautiful work she had done on both Yelp and her site. She was in touch with me regularly in the time leading up to my wedding and is such a sweetheart. The day of the my wedding she came to my hotel and did my hair and make-up. I loved it! I wanted a very retro/classic look and she delivered. I have really flat, straight hair and I couldn't believe how much volume and curls she was able to give me. Jaymee even helped me into my wedding dress (we eloped so no bridesmaids to help) before doing my lips and the final touches. I highly recommend Jaymee. I was the Maid of Honor at my bestfriend's wedding in August, and we hired Jaymee to do hair and make-up. Let me sum up our experience in one phrase: A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. My bestfriend, the bride, went through all the precautionary measures with Jaymee to ensure that her special day would go without a hitch. She and Jaymee did a make-up trial in advance so that Jaymee knew which colors to use for her makeup, and my bestfriend emailed her a picture of what she wanted done for her hair. She gave Jaymee a heads up on the location of the hotel to prep for the wedding way in advance. In other words, Jaymee had all the information she needed and was well aware of what was expected of her. We didn't expect anything more or anything less. We only expected her to do what we hired her for - hair and make-up. Yet, she didn't deliver on her promise. Jaymee arrived thirty minutes LATE to the hotel, without calling to let us know she was running late. This mistake, along with the fact that she didn't finish her job (see below), put us so behind schedule to the point where we almost didn't make it to the wedding ceremony. The bride ALMOST missed her own wedding! HERE'S WHY: In addtion to being very tardy without calling or without any notice of her tardiness, Jaymee did not finish any of the three bridesmaids' hairs. YES, YOU READ IT CORRECTLY, SHE DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB SHE WAS HIRED FOR. She left all three bridesmaids in curlers due to a supposed "emergency". The only person who was "done" was the bride - sadly, the bride's updo didn't even last through the wedding ceremony. If that wasn't bad enough, the bride's make-up colors were completely different than the colors used for her trial. As a result, the bridesmaids had to do each other's hair, including the bride's and touch up the bride's make-up on last minute notice. Why did Jaymee have to leave so urgently, you may ask? Jaymee claimed that she had to leave so urgently because she had to attend her grandfather's funeral. Who attends a funeral in a pretty fuchsia, short dress with cute high heels? Answer: NO ONE. What Jaymee didn't know is that she inadvertantly left her next wedding party's contract in between my bestfriend's contract. Therefore, she wasn't going to her grandfather's funeral, she had a bigger and more profitable wedding party to tend to. She double-booked herself at my bestfriend's expense. Why didn't she provide back-up assistance (besides the one girl who we also contracted in advance) to relieve her? Because she wanted to make a double profit at someone else's expense. Worst of all, Jaymee refused to refund the bride or any of the bridesmaids despite her acknowledgement of her unprofessionalism. So unethical. I would never recommend this vendor. read more

I booked Jaymee 5 months before my wedding. I paid her in full 3 months before in good faith, shame on me for trusting her. Jaymee disappeared with my money, canceling on me one day before my wedding. She claimed to be sending a replacement but refused to provide her replacement's name, contact information, and some proof of the quality of her work. I got Jaymee to agree to issue me a full refund. Two months later, I still did not see that money despite emailing her regularly. I finally had to threaten her with small claims court and after two weeks of doing so, I got my money back in installments. Jaymee's services are cheaper than her competitors but she took my money and left me hanging hours before my wedding. Jaymee said she was sending an assistant at 10am to prep my party and I the day of my wedding. At 945 she said her assistant wasn't coming so she would come instead with 2 assistants at 12. I asked her to come sooner because I told her I needed to be ready at 130. She said no. So, she shows up at 1245, a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes after she said we would get started initially. Kept saying she was 2 minutes away but just kept getting later and later. Said 2 assistants were coming, only one assistant came. About 30 minutes in to the session the assistant said she was going to the car and never came back. ??? My makeup looked ok but I was very stressed. I would recommend not paying in advance because I am making the assumption she would have tried harder to be on time had I been paying the full balance in cash the day of. I have contemplated writing this review for the past few months because of the negative experience that I had and typically write only positive reviews on Yelp. When I first hired her I was happy at the initial consultation with the work she performed. However, within the weeks leading up to my big day, she would not respond to my text messages for days as well as others who were in my wedding party. Availability for me is rather important since it is crucial in a business where you are servicing customers. Cut to days prior to the event, I decided I just was not comfortable with the situation and emailed her to cancel. She understood why I wanted to cancel and said that where she lives she does not have the best service and her phone wasn't working properly. She then promised me a full refund. I had to get a hair stylist to do my hair without a trial and had to do my own makeup. As you could imagine I was busy for the next few weeks with the honeymoon and after wedding things that needed my attention. I finally contacted her about 1-2 months after the event and she said that her assistant would get it to me as soon as possible. 3 months of back and forth trying to get my money back was horrible. When her assistant finally sent the amount it was less than what I was told, but decided to let her have the rest because of the trial work that she did do. After that was over, she said that she would send me some free makeup products because she could see I was clearly very unhappy and I would get to choose exactly what I wanted. I told her what I wanted and this was last October. I have not received anything from her and she completely stopped responding to my messages. All in all, I was not satisfied and am completely disappointed in her work style I would NEVER recommend her to any family or friends since she did not follow through with what she said she would do. read more

I would not recommend Jaymee at all. I don't normally post reviews on Yelp but because of what happened with Jaymee, I feel like I must write a review to prevent something like this from happening to other people. I know I am super late in writing this review, but my wedding was this past July in 2015. I found Jaymee on Yelp. I liked the photos of the hair and makeup she had done and thought she would be great to book for my wedding, especially since her prices are cheap compared to other wedding makeup/hair stylists. So I contacted her. I emailed her telling her I wanted to book. In her response she said I had perfect timing because there was a mom who had just contacted her to do her daughter's sweet 16 in the same date as my wedding. She also said I had to first give her a deposit of $155 in order to reserve the date. So because I didn't want to miss the chance to book her at such a great price, I agreed and paid her through PayPal. However, after I had paid, I tried to contact her and she would not respond to my emails. I contacted her repeatedly. I contacted her through the phone, but she just wouldn't get back to me. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but eventually I realized she had cheated me and had just taken my money. In conclusion, I really recommend you look someplace else for hair and makeup. When I was looking at all her reviews on Yelp before this all happened, she had some really great reviews but also a few bad reviews. I thought the bad reviews were of people who were the outliers...but I'm here to say that from my personal experience, she does not seem to be reliable or trustworthy. read more

I would like to start off by saying that this review isn't for her actual hair/makeup services. I didn't get to experience her services because of her lack of communication, and I am not using her for my wedding anymore. Like MANY other brides on this page, I read her reviews and I noticed that past brides had complained about Jaymee and her assistants showing up late on the day of their wedding. I was concerned so I asked her about these reviews, straight up. What she told me was that she was going through a "rough patch" with her business and she had hired new assistants that didn't know what they were doing and they were very unprofessional. She assured me that this wouldn't be happening anymore because she got rid of these assistants, however I am still seeing so many recent reviews about this issue. Some reviews even state how she showed up an hour late on the DAY OF the wedding. After I sent in my deposit to Jaymee I started noticing that she was taking a while to reply to my emails. She always had an excuse when I emailed her and asked for certain things. She said that she was always having "email problems" which I don't believe. I tried contacting her for weeks to book my trial with her and when she would reply she would always avoid the topic. I tried calling the number listed on this yelp page- it didn't work. I tried calling another number I found for her- it went straight to voicemail. I left her two voicemails and after the second one she emailed me from a different email address saying that she had been trying to email me but I haven't been getting them. I even gave her my phone number and she never tried to call me. There were just so many excuses with her. She seems like a nice woman, but she doesn't take your business seriously. When I told her that I would no longer need her services for my wedding, she stopped replying all together because I asked for our deposit back. My fiance and I are now in the process of going through PayPal's claim service and fighting for our refund. Bottom Line: DO NOT book with her. Listen to the reviews on this page. read more

After having a nice conversation with her about giving me the refund she asked if she could do it in a couple weeks through PayPal . Those two weeks came and went and of course I haven't heard from her since. I have written to her via email and text messages several times. I was a bridesmaid of Margaret's wedding (posted a few reviews before this) and I did not know all of this back story till now. As someone who was there for just the day of, I can honestly say I was so irritated and upset that everything was rushed and it didn't seem like we really mattered to her. I totally understand that things like the stomach flu come up but there should be some type of back up plan! Her main focus SHOULD'VE been on the bride but instead more focus was on getting as many people done as she could. My makeup looked rushed and my hair was not finished and I literally had to have one of the other girls re-do it. Jaymee is a nice person, and that is VERY important, but she is severely lacking in her professionalism and accountability. You need to rely on people like this for your wedding and when you're not able to it is very disappointing. In the days after my wedding I finally was able to get ahold of her. She claimed she had been in an accident the night before and that she had had her assistant try to reach me, but her assistant had been calling the wrong Jessica that just so happened to be booked the same month. I got married on 8/31/13, and hired Jaymee to do the wedding party's makeup and hair. I was extremely pleased with Jaymee's artistry on the day of the wedding, but when I got my photos last week, and realized how flawless we all looked, I thought to myself, this is worth a review! I spent months (months!) looking for someone for hair and makeup for my wedding. For some reason, this was the most challenging task ever! Part of it has to do with how picky I am, but there are other variables that I will outline that ultimately led me to choosing Jaymee, which was the best decision ever! So how did Jaymee win my heart? 1) Service - After having talked and emailed with other artists, I realized that you could be the greatest, but if your people skills are lacking, then your talents are easily overlooked. From the very beginning, Jaymee was on point! She responded promptly to my inquiry, provided a quote in a timely manner, and answered all my questions (not some, ALL). She presented herself as a true professional, and I instantly felt she was reliable for the job and would not leave me hanging on the day of my wedding (a fear all brides have!). 2) Flexibility - I have an extremely demanding job, often working 70+ hours a week. Booking trials with some of the other artists I had spoken to was an impossible task. No one seemed to be available (or want) to do evening appointments, or Sundays, which is really the only times/days I had available. Jaymee, on the other hand, worked around my schedule--for all three trials! Yes, three trials, and that's because I kept changing the hairstyle I wanted. And every time I'd contact Jaymee to let her know that I wanted to go in another direction, I didn't feel a grudge from her. She was welcoming to my change of heart. She genuinely understands the importance for a bride to LOVE her look and is willing to work with you to make sure you do. 3) Talent - When I first met Jaymee, I was impressed by how amazing her own makeup looked, so that was a good sign! But then to see her work her magic on me, and turn me into a hottie, was amazing! I have a hard time sitting still, and I do not like people touching my face, but Jaymee made me feel at ease, as she described what she was doing every step of the way. She's not only talented, but very knowledgeable. When it finally came time for my wedding day, everything was perfect, and my makeup and hair lasted all night! When I got engaged I knew that it was time to find a great makeup artist for our wedding parties and the big day. Of course I took to Yelp to find someone who was highly recommended by my fellow Yelpers. At first I was set on having airbrush makeup done so I did a trial with someone who did airbrush. She was fairly expensive and I wasn't happy with the airbrush foundation or even my eye makeup. So back to Yelp I came and found Jaymee. Her prices were so much more affordable than any of the other MUAs out there so I had to give her a chance. The first time I worked with her was for my engagement photoshoot. Jaymee was right on time and came prepared with all of her makeup and hair styling tools too even though I had told her I'd just need makeup. She did a beautiful job with my makeup and we still had time afterwards so she double checked with me if I wanted my hair touched up (I had already curled it) and it wouldn't cost any more. So I figured, why not? My pictures turned out great and my hair and makeup lasted all day so I knew she was 'the one' I'd be booking for our wedding day. After that I also had Jaymee do my hair & makeup for my boudoir photoshoot and bridal shower(wedding trial). And again she was on time and did an amazing job! For our wedding day I booked her to do my hair & makeup plus 4 more for makeup and 8 more for hair(2 of which were very last minute add-ons). She arrived bright and early at 6AM and we got started on hair. The only hitch was that an extra MUA was supposed to come later on and she just didn't show up. Jaymee tried to reach her and tried to get a back up to come but unfortunately it didn't happen so we were running late. Early on in wedding planning I learned that nothing ever seems to go right and you just have to roll with the punches and make it work. So we decided to switch around the picture schedule a bit to accomodate and it worked out fine. And honestly if I hadn't added in 2 people for hair last minute, we wouldn't have even had to switch the picture schedule around. Nonetheless, Jaymee was extremely professional and apologetic about it all and worked in high gear to get everyone's makeup done and even came to the venue with us to do my flower girl's hair and do touch ups. We got the pre-ceremony pictures in that we had planned to take and were on time for the ceremony. So after working with Jaymee 4 times now I can tell you that she is extremely personable, professional, and does great work for very affordable prices. FANTASTIC!! We were searching for an artist for our trip to San Francisco for the Emperor Norton's Ball and were given Jamyee's name. She was right on time, great contact and just a joy to work with. She did all the little details so many quick artists miss. She really cared. We all shared lunch and had the most wonderful time. She went far above just makeup! I had found Jaymee's ad on craigslist and booked her 10 months prior to my wedding day. During my trial we settled on the exact makeup colors/ products that were to be used for my wedding day. She even wrote them down on a simple contract that basically showed I booked her for the day. We tried 3 different hair styles and it ended with an updo but with fixes because the updo wasn't exactly what I wanted. My trial was done at my house and literally went from 11am to 4:30. I ended up having to cancel my plans that day because the trial took so long. 3 weeks prior to my wedding I sent several back and forth emails to Jaymee and her assistant. I had to repeat myself several times in my emails because Jaymee and her assistant were not in sync with communicating. During the last 2 week of my wedding I really wanted to firm up my wedding day timeline and it would take days for Jaymee and her assistant to respond. Jaymee and her assistant couldn't finalize on the timeline I created and sent to them until the night before my wedding. I also was told the day before my wedding that Jaymee would not be doing my makeup, like was planned, and another girl would be doing it. This was really upsetting because I had my trials with Jaymee and she knew exactly how I wanted my makeup and I had no idea who this other person was or her skill level. The morning of my wedding Jaymee and the 2nd makeup artist arrived 30 minutes late to my hotel room. When Jaymee and Blair finally arrived we were 45 minutes behind schedule. Jaymee told me it would take 40 minutes hair/makeup per person. Jaymee spent over an hour working on my MOH's hair and still wasn't completely styled when I had to go into the room and tell Jaymee we were way behind schedule. Jaymee stopped working on my MOH and said she would set the other two bridesmaids hair, my mother and then mine. By setting Jaymee just put curls in the girls hair with hair spray but didn't style their hair. When it was my mother's turn to get her hair done by Jaymee, Jaymee put curls and said she was done. My mom looked in the mirror and told Jaymee she hated it. Jaymee's response was "awww" and then continued working on the my hair. My mother then had to fix her own hair. When Jaymee did my hair, she still didn't style my bangs the way I wanted from our trial. I had to get them redone 3 times before I was willing to deal with my hair since by now we were more than 2 hours behind schedule. Once my hair hair was styled Jaymee packed up her things and left. I had 3 bridesmaids hair that wasn't even styled and my mother who hated her hair. My makeup was done by Blair. Jaymee gave Blair a piece of paper regarding my trial. So I assumed my makeup would be done like my trial. Bad assumption on my part. My makeup was suppose to be done in pink and purple hues to match my wedding colors. Instead I ended up with browns and tans and eye makeup that smeared and gave me bangs underneath my eyes. When Jaymee left one of my Bridesmaids had to step in and style everyone's hair because Jaymee left with there hair incomplete. The girls had curls with there hair in random pins to hold the curls in while it set. This is upsetting because if my bridesmaid didn't know how to do hair I would have had a disastrous wedding party. All my girls paid Jaymee to have Hair and makeup and we didn't even get this service. Since my bridesmaid had to go and do everyone's hair we fell even more behind schedule. I was left waiting for my girls to be done with hair and makeup to put on my wedding dress 30 minutes behind schedule. As a result I didn't get to take my bridal pictures and missed out on getting some important pictures. In the end I ended up 20 minutes late to my ceremony, and almost missed having a full mass because I was late for my time slot at the church. My hair completely fell out by the time my cocktail hour started and my bridesmaid and cousin had to take my in the bathroom and fix my hair. My makeup at this point had started creasing in my eyelids creating this discussing line, my eyeliner and mascara created dark circles underneath my eyes. On the day you should feel and look flawless, I didn't. When I emailed Jaymee to tell her that my girls deserve a refund for Hair because my Bridesmaid ended up doing everyone's hair when Jaymee left early she said it was my fault for not speaking up that my makeup was not done in the colors correctly and my fault and my hair fell out because I changed my hair style - which was the same updo from my trial with the changes to my bangs that she forgot. Jaymee emailed me back weeks later and said she could give me a store credit. I insisted I didn't want credit and want the refund for hair as none of my girls had their hair competed. When unpacking my items from my wedding I found another brides contract for the same day as mine in a location far from mine and overall paying more. I was a bridesmaid for my cousins wedding in August and we hired Jaymee to do our hair and make-up for the day. I was completely disappointed that for the amount of work she had done was not worth the price. In other words, you absolutely do NOT get what you paid for. First off she was late without letting us know. She did not finish any of the bridesmaids hair and COMPLETELY did not listen to the bride about how she wanted her hair and makeup for her wedding especially AFTER they have a tutorial on how she wanted it all. She knew exactly what she wanted yet didn't deliver. I told Jaymee that I wanted loose curls thinking that they would last the rest of the day/night it didn't. She left me with clips in my hair when she had to go, she didn't finish any of the girls hair. She had another girl come in and help her with makeup and I showed her the picture I wanted for my make-up but it seemed like she didnt know how to do it because she was convincing me to change it by telling me I would look like I had a rash on my eyes. And the fake eyelashes that the make-up artist put on didnt even last the beginning of the ceremony. We did not pay for them to convince us to change our minds to what they can do. Each bridesmaid had to go back and do touch-ups to each other after she left. The bride on the other hand wanted pinks and purples but all Jaymee did was browns and was saying while doing all of the work that she was missing her "grandfathers funeral" which was completely false since she left paper work with the brides contract about another wedding the same day/time and was rushing to get there since she was being offered more. All of our hair styles went flat within arriving to the church minutes before the ceremony was about to begin. We almost missed the wedding because of her disregard of letting us know she would be late and doing a "half-ass job." And when the bride asked for a refund since everyone was unhappy and that Jaymee didn't do her job she completely refused to refund it even knowing how bad of a job she had done. In the end I would NOT recommend them to anyone especially after everything that has happened on that day. read more

It saddens me to write this review because I was so excited to work with Jayme. She was very nice and we connected well at the beginning. Unfortunately just like many many many of these reviews, I too was left high and dry as the months inched closer to my wedding. I booked Jayme well in advance for my wedding and her pricing was perfect! It all seemed to be going so well, but things took a turn for the worst. It was a few months till my wedding and I tried contacting her to set up my hair and makeup trial since I haven't heard from her in quite some time. I tried reaching out to Jayme via email and text but I got nothing back. Weeks had gone by and I still hadn't heard from her. It got to the point where I kept texting her at least once a week to try to get through to her. That's when I found her Yelp reviews and saw how countless brides had gone through the same exact thing. I got so nervous, but tried one more text to her to give her the benefit of the doubt. One week went by and still I hadn't heard anything. I "canceled" her services through email (basically told her that since she hasn't made any attempt to contact me that I will not be using her) and quickly booked someone else to do hair and makeup. This review is meant to help save brides from what I went through. My wedding was on October 28th, 2016 and I still haven't heard anything back from her in regards to any of my emails or texts. She knew when my wedding was. She had my number. She had my email. Jayme, if you ever read this, please know that I'm very disappointed with how things ended up. I treated you with respect and patience. For you to stop all means of communication with me is unforgivable and unacceptable. My husband and I were paying for the wedding our selves and you cheated us out of money we could've used. If there was anything going on in your life that would've hindered you from doing your services then your honesty would've been much appreciated! With that being said, I hope all is well in your life. From the looks of your recent reviews, you're still screwing people out of their time and money. Please come to terms with your business practices and either change your ways or close up shop. My sister (the bride) was generous to provide 7+ women with hair and makeup using Jaymee. The morning of Jaymee and her "assistant" arrived set everything up. Her assistant ran out to get lashes. After she got back she left, never to be seen from again. Jaymee neglected to tell anyone her "assistant" was not coming back until I was in the chair about 2 hours before we were suppose to leave for the venue. Her "assistant" was sick and throwing up downstairs in the hotel bathroom. She asked for my help with getting the girls organized. Jaymee spent all of 5 minutes doing my makeup, then she was on to the next. Meanwhile my curls fell out and I had to have one of the other girls re-do my hair. Jaymee did my sister's (the bride) hair early in the morning and had to get her hair re-done into another style because the original looked half-assed. The whole bridal party was stressed and had such anxiety as time was running out and almost all the girls did not have their makeup done. Some of the girls asked if they should start doing each others makeup. Jaymee had a slight attitude and said she had it. Finally the girls started doing each other makeup, because nothing was done. We had to leave some of the wedding party behind to finish up the makeup with threw off the whole timeline for photos. After we left for the venue Jaymee texted my sister and apologized and offered a refund. In the process of offering a refund on the day of the wedding, Jaymee lost count of how many girls she actual did hair/makeup for and how many my sister paid for. After clarifying the number Jaymee was suppose to send my sister a refund, this has yet to happen. The wedding was in 5 months ago. I can't believe my sister had to deal with such an unprofessional person on her wedding day. This is suppose to be one of the happiest days of her life and Jaymee created unnecessary stress and anxiety. The price was not worth the headache and stress Jaymee caused my sister and the whole bridal party. PLEASE READ AND CONSIDER BEFORE HIRING JAYMEE FOR YOUR WEDDING! I booked her for my friends wedding (along with the rest of the wedding party) and she canceled on us the day before the wedding! It was a total nightmare and my poor friend had to call around trying to find another hair/makeup person on the day before her wedding! Highly recommend you find someone else. I hired Jaymee to do my hair and makeup for my birthday 2 years ago and I have been going to her ever since!!! She always makes me look flawless, my makeup remains perfect for hours and my hair always stays put. I can tell that she is passionate about her work and she is very creative with colors and her technique. I'll show her my dress or a shirt, and she can compliment it with colors I would never even look twice at, and I'm ALWAYS satisfied!! In addition to being a great hair and makeup artist, her rates are very affordable and she always works with my schedule. There have been times where I have called her the morning of my event to see if she can squeeze me in and she always finds a way. She is professional yet extremely friendly and down to earth, I feel comfortable with her and not embarrassed to come to her with no makeup on! I still have not heard one word from Jaymee. It's been over a month since I requested a refund. She and her assistant have both gone completely radio silent. I've filed claims with Pay Pal but she conveniently had me pay some items through Google Wallet (no recourse) and VenMo (same thing). Still out over $800. If anyone has additional contact info for her, I'd sure appreciate it! FB message, texts, calls, emails, etc. Nothing. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau where she already had a previous complaint and her rating is like a D. She, of course, has not responded. read more

I scheduled a bridal hair/makeup trial with Jaymee of Jtglamour. I scheduled this appointment and gave her a refundable deposit to reserve her services for my wedding date. She clearly stated to me via email that the deposit to reserve the date was refundable and that if I decided on a different hair/makeup artist after my trial that I would be refunded the deposit fee. The trial took about 4 hours. During this time we only tried one hair style. I provided sample pictures of how I wanted my hair to look. I wanted loose curls, cascading down one side. Instead the curls she gave me were very tight and they looked messy and teased. In regards to the makeup, I felt like the foundation she used was not the correct shade (a little too light), she could not find the correct lip color and kept wiping the color off and reapplying so it was difficult to judge the true shade. The colors she chose for my eyeshadow were pulled from some inspiration pictures I showed her but the blending on the eyeshadow was not smooth and uneven when you compared eyes. I felt like the organization and time management Jaymee demonstrated was poor. When I arrived she said she had cleaned her makeup brushes the night before but they were still wet and drying so she couldn't used them. The makeup was spread out across the table, or in a box and she had a difficult time searching for the item she was looking for. She would stop regularly to attend to other things (i.e. answer her phone, or check on her son who was in the other room). When I asked her how long the makeup would take the day of the wedding she did not give a clear timeline and given how long the trial took I was concerned she would not finish my makeup as well as my wedding party in time the day of my wedding. Given all these concerns I decided to continue looking for hair/makeup artist and scheduled other trials. I had two other trials which were more successful. These artists were more efficient, prepared and professional. Within a month after my trial I emailed Jaymee to let her know I had decided on another hair/makeup artists and requested that I be refunded my deposit. After I did not hear back from her, I made several attempts to get a hold of her. I sent multiple emails. I tried calling all the numbers listed for JTglamour but to this day I haven't received a response. I never received a follow up with her after the trial and and she never responded to any of my requests for a refund. In looking at recent reviews, I am not the only person she has failed to refund or taken their money without providing a service. If you are considering hiring her I strongly suggest you pay her after services have been provided. read more

Jaymee was recommended as the hair & makeup artist for our wedding by another makeup artist who was unable to cover our large group of ladies alone. The first thing we loved was her competitive pricing! We ended up treating all 7 of my bridesmaids to hair and/or makeup and didn't feel like we were completely breaking the bank. Jaymee was always super responsive via email as we were planning our San Francisco wedding from New York, which made everything really great and easy for me. I am so happy I booked Jaymee for my wedding in June! Jaymee is so friendly and personable and a lot of fun to work with! She listens well, welcomes feedback, and was totally willing to make adjustments to our hair and makeup to ensure we would all be happy with our look. Jaymee was also very professional throughout the entire process. She was timely in her communication, especially through text messaging, and made me feel confident in her skills and ability to do an amazing job on hair and makeup for 10 women! One thing I really appreciated was that Jaymee made a point of getting to know our hair and skin, which made me feel that it was important to her that she really understood our needs and goals going into the big day. I needed to find someone for hair and makeup for my engagement photos as well as my wedding for myself and my bridesmaids when one of my co-workers recommended Jayme. I am one of those awfully un-decisive people that never really can decide what I want but Jayme is amazing. She is a master at what she does and was able to do a fabulous job on makeup and hair for my recent engagement photos. My fiance was floored and couldn't take his eyes off me. For the trial and and engagement session she was on time, professional and super easy to talk to. Her prices are great and fit right in my budget.
