I was introduced to Padi in 2010 when I was looking for a make up artist for our engagement photo shoot. I was referred to her though a friend who had nothing but good things to say. I had seen her pictures and really liked her make up so I thought id call her. Padi was very easy to talk to , It felt as if I had known her for years. She was flexible and we quickly set up an appointment for a consultation. At the consultation we went over specific looks I had in mind, I even brought pictures with me to show her, but she knew exactly what i wanted. I have consulted with other make up artist in the past and none of them understood my style and never really ever listened to what I wanted. With all the other make up artist i never really felt as if I looked like myself after. Initially I was worried but Padi knew exactly what I was talking about. My trial was exactly what I wanted the make up look perfect! I wanted the natural look but I wanted it to appear as if I was wearing some kind of make up without looking to done and she delivered just that! The most important thing during the trial was that Padi was patient she listened to everything I said and accommodated it all. Our Photo shoot turned out great and my make up look perfect I received so many compliments on my make up! I was so happily pleased! I have been using Padi for all events even my Wedding ! Padi was referred to me by a wonderful friend. I contacted her and was so happy she was free for my wedding day! I went to her for a trial. She was very sweet and nice and was considering everything I told her that I like. I had been to a couple of make-up artist at Nordstrom, Saphora and ... but didnt like any of the make ups. Some of them were to arrogant and were not listening to what I was saying I like. Some were not expert and didnt know what style would suit my face better. Padi was above them all, and I realized she is very EXPERIENCED and confident, and masters what she is doing. She was great customizing the looks I wanted to my face shape. Padi totally knows what she is doing and is very good and achieved a look better than I expected! How you look and feel on your wedding day is one of the most important things. Every single bride wants to look and feel gorgeous on her wedding day. It's just the way it is. While I considered myself a very chill bride, even I got nervous about how my makeup would look, what would happen when I cried, etc. Well, my fairy Godmother came in the form of a woman named Padi. I can not begin to express her talent and dedication to making me feel and look beautiful. She listened to what I wanted, and was so real about the options I had (you know someone's good when they say, "I can do that, but you probably don't want me to..!"). I did a trial with her a couple months before the wedding and she wanted my hair to look the part for the trial pictures, so she did a half-up style for me as well. She did such an amazing job that I had her to do my hair on the day of the wedding, too. She got there early, was professional, and holy moly is she talented. I have never felt so confident or sexy as I did when she glammed me on my wedding day. Even the officiant made a point during the ceremony to comment on my makeup! I have an oily T-zone and I'm a crier; not a good combo if you're planning on wearing makeup. To top it off, my ceremony and reception was outdoors in 90 degree Sonoma weather. I don't know what she used on my face but through the tears,kisses,and dancing my face did not budge one bit. She even gave me a mini pot of the lipstick she used on me to touch up if I needed! If I could give Padi more than 5 stars I would..!!! I'm really picky on who does my makeup and I usually do it myself for big events, especially because i have really sparse brows. However, I didn't trust myself with the pressure of doing my own makeup for my big day. I found Padi on instagram and after my trial I knew she was the girl for the job! She made me look amazing and even took pics of me at the trial with her professional camera in natural light so I could see exactly how I would look in the pictures from my wedding day. The day of my wedding she was on time and made me and my wedding party look amazing. She even did bridal makeup and makeup for the bridesmaids for my best friend's wedding a few months later. I met Padi through my best friend for her wedding a few months before mine. Right off the bat Padi makes you feel super comfortable and by the end of trial it felt like she was more a friend than a vendor. She did all our makeup to perfection and did take her own picture with a professional grade camera so you get an idea of how you'll look on the actual day. She was great to work with and on the big day my photographer had to go get pictures of the guys she offered to take pictures of me getting my hair done so I could have professional pictures of me getting my hair done. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Padi came to my rescue! I don't know how to do make up at all. I mean at all! Padi is incredibly kind and extremely accommodating. I came up for a wedding and desperately needed my make up done for a pre-wedding function. I called her last minute and everything fell into place. She re-adjusted her schedule and was able to do wonders on my face. My entire family and friends were amazed, since I never wear make-up. Her ability to still have you look like you and not made up is phenomenal. She makes you feel comfortable and really takes the time to listen to what you want. Padi is WONDERFUL! She's a total perfectionist with everything that she does! I came to her for micro blading. We started the process by filling in some quick paper work and then she asked me what I wanted my brows to look like. I brought in some pictures of other brows that I loved and she spent a good amount of time drawing in my brows until they were exactly what I wanted. I basically wanted more strokes in patchy areas and also to have more definition at my arch. My brows do not naturally have that high arch, but Padi was able to create it for me. Pain level, to me, it was not painful at all, I would describe the sensation as deep scratches, but Padi made sure to ask me if I needed extra numbing drops throughout the entire process! i came in from out-of-town and needed makeup done for a wedding. needless to say I was super nervous to hire someone who I never met.. but padi put me at east and did a WONDERFUL job. i would hire her again in a heartbeat. in fact, i wish she lived near me! padi was able to balance my "ask" with what actually looked good for my face type -- because sometimes what i want doesn't actually look good on me! i was very happy that she could gauge my face features and apply makeup appropriately during our first meet.. and she did it with grace, she never made me feel like her way was the only way (like some artists do) another thing I love about padi is how she keeps her tools and makeup SUPER CLEAN. she is very organized and all her makeup tools and products look brand new. she takes pride in taking care of her equipment for each client.. i so LOVE that about her. she also brought a professional makeup chair so we had the appropriate height for makeup application. we met at my hotel room so space is not always the best.. I feel so lucky that Padi did my makeup for my wedding day! She is incredibly talented, uses top-notch beauty products, and is just all around amazing. She did a meticulous job, both during our makeup trial and on my actual wedding day. The trial was awesome because I just showed her a couple different inspiration photos I had pinned, and she took it from there. We played with a couple different looks and I decided on one that felt the most "me," while still being glammed up. I am so thankful to have found Padi! I am very very picky with my makeup and I generally do a pretty good job doing it myself. However I am getting married in July and have been on a look out for the past year and a half for a makeup artist I trust on my wedding day. Padi is so sweet and patient, even with my mom breathing down her neck and knows how to perfect your makeup exactly how you love it. She has done my makeup now 3 times, once for trial, my engagement photo shoot, and my bridal shower.
