I was on the market for a replacement door and wanted a modern one with proper insulation, windows, and with less drama on my motor. Although I had searched locally and received several quotes, I had my heart set on a particular brand, but the price just wasn't appealing. Upon a recommendation from my insurance agent, I reached out to JTM Garage Door Service and spoke at length with Josh. I was unable to meet with anyone during the week, but Josh sent out Adam to converge with me on a Saturday, and we went from there. Adam took extensive measurements, gave me lots of advice, and we finalized a deal. The door was supposed to be ready for delivery within a 3-4 week time frame, but the manufacturer held it up on their end and both Josh and I had conflicting schedules when the door finally did arrive, but he worked patiently with me and kept me up to date as best as he could. When the door was ready to install, Adam showed up on one of the hottest days in July. What I like about this business is that they show up at the prearranged time, and Adam even gave me a courtesy call prior to arriving to let me know that he was on his way. Adam has a work ethic that is truly remarkable, in that, he is meticulous to a fault...the Michelangelo of installers. He worked long and hard on my project in the awful heat that we were experiencing in the height of July and never complained once. Most people would have called it a day after several hours, but Adam stuck with it until everything was exemplary and I had a beautiful new door that shuts just right, with all the correct trimmings to make it flush and sealed tight. Another proverbial feather for Adam's hat was when the door was fully installed, we both realized that the decorative additions had not been included with the order. Although I had paid in full, both Adam and Josh promised me that they would track them down and followed up with the manufacturer. Sure enough, they arrived and Adam trekked all the way from the far East Valley to the far West valley to install them. Once again, the manufacturer did not include the right combination, but Adam took it upon himself to make sure that I was taken care of, and I'm sure that he went out of his way to provide the customer service that legends are made from. I can't thank JTM Garage Door Service enough for taking such good care of me. Josh had Chamberlain units with him but he looked up Home Depot's units and we saw they were on sale. So, I went to Home Depot while Josh took down the old unit. I was having issues with our 7 year old garage door opener and had another one of the big name garage door companies in the valley come out to service it. They supposedly did 25 point inspection and stated that there was an issue with the unit, but he could get the chain back on track, recommended replacing the wheels on the door and said that should resolve the problem. About $100 in and 4 days later, I had the same problem. The other company's representative/salesman came back as their "work" was still under warranty and gave me options to buy a new unit. I was disappointed and frustrated so I started shopping around. I received a total of 10 bids for two different garage door units, comparing "apples to apples" to make sure that I would receive a fair price for the unit that I wanted. I had another garage door company come out and state the problem, collect a trip fee, and say they would be back the next day with the correct parts they obviously didn't have on hand. Three days later, they had not show up on 3 different occasions and couldn't promise they would even make it, several hours after the time they had quoted, so I finally cancelled and called JTM. Had Josh and his crew put in a double and single bay garage doors. I chose the insulated doors with color match that was spot on. We had a noisy garage door and wanted it looked over, so based on a referral from a friend, we called JTM Garage Door. Josh answered and and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was on time, and gave us a courtesy call on the way. He looked over our original set up and determined that everything was just plain old and worn out. We decided to replace all of the old parts, including the springs, cables, bearings, and rollers. We also upgraded the belt drive opener with one that has a battery backup and DC motor with warranty.
