She created a photo timeline, which made sure the day ran according to plan and that all special moments were captured. Michele put together a formal shot list, which ended up being very helpful on the day of the wedding to make sure we didn't miss any family shots. Jenny and Hoang were our photographers for the day and they did a great job. Jenny has so much experience with weddings that she ended up being a helpful resource just in the bridal party getting ready. An online gallery of all the pictures (literally a thousand of them!) was provided within a month of the wedding date. The pictures came out great!

They were very professional and have done many many weddings! They were able to handle our large families in the church and get all the family pictures. Mindy and Bryan did most of the posing for our pictures and they turned out great! We got our wedding photos very fast way before the timeline they gave us. It took them about a month and our promise time was 6-8 weeks.

Metts Photo consistently went above and beyond our expectations. Karina agreed to meet us in person for a consultation and we liked her right away. As she was leaving, she handed me a bar of chocolate because she knew that wedding planning was stressful- at that point; we were totally sold on hiring Metts as our wedding photographer. Karina and Michael were always incredibly thoughtful- we received a little gift and card around Christmastime last year.... right before our wedding, a little box of champagne gummies with our photos on it came to our doorstep....it showed that they were always thinking of us and our upcoming wedding, and it meant so much to us. The extra special "touches" added so much value to our experience. Engagement photos are included in the package and it was evident that Karina and Michael were very invested in getting to know a little bit about us, our personalities, and vision for the wedding day. They took the time to go out for drinks afterward and we felt like they really listened to what we had to say. The actual wedding ran flawlessly! Michael was willing to drive to one venue (45 min away) to photograph the guys whereas Karina came to our suite. Family portraits were a breeze because we had discussed them beforehand, and Karina was kind enough to come to the rehearsal the night before to get a feel for the church and meet the families, etc. I have NEVER heard of any photographers that attend the rehearsal to get the "lay of the land." It really shows how much they care about their work and the end result. Also, they stayed until we were satisfied with the number of photos and checked with our families before leaving the reception. We didn't have to worry about exceeding a set number of hours or a bunch of other guidelines and/or surprise extras. We received a "preview gallery" of our photos the VERY next day to share with family and friends! We received our photos within a month, and our families LOVED the photo slideshow set to music that she was kind enough to put together as well. IN ADDITION, we received all images on a USB stick, presented to us very elegantly with a few of our favorite images printed and mounted on card stock. I believe that Karina and Michael limit the number of weddings they take on each year, so as to dedicate significant time and energy to each couple. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the value for what you end up getting is UNBELIEVABLE. In short, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. I cannot recommend Metts Photo enough. Their special touches and thoughtfulness made a stressful process (wedding planning) just a little bit easier for us. Not to mention, we love our wedding photos! Sometimes little extra touches make big differences. :) *Also- as a side note, I would def consider getting a package with an album if you even remotely think you might want one. I found certain aspects of the process difficult with my specific photography (I don't remember her name). We came to our spot early since I always value others time and I am typically early to appointments. My photographer, however, was 12 minutes late for a 30 minute session and I finally had to call her. Being a late afternoon appointment those 10 minutes made a difference with how much sun we had available for our shots. I was also disappointed in her ability to direct the shoot. I found myself doing most of the direction, throwing leaves and pointing out places that could make for a good photo since she was providing NONE. I would have expected this to be done by her, the photographer. She also spent a lot of time looking at the pictures she took and not shooting. I appreciate that I am not a photographer and so I know she is doing something I don't understand but she missed a LOT of great shots by not being able to shoot a ton of photos at once. She would take a photo, look down, take a photo, look down. I have done other professional photos before and she looked down more than anyone else. The positives: She was very patient with my child and had a great demeanor about her. She did make up the time from being late at the end of the appointment and never rushed us. Overall seemed like a really sweet girl. Working with company themselves also could have been better. I was always the one being proactive. I ended up having to reach out to ask where to meet and what to do and then I had to reach out again to get my photos after the promised delivery date. Perhaps I am impatient and like to plan but I would have expected them to be more communicative overall with their clients. Overall I do not regret doing the session but I wouldn't go back again.

The video quality was poor (not 4K as expected), very shaky (the camera was even dropped multiple times), and important moments were completely missed -- including our ceremony exit and key reception introductions. The ceremony itself was filmed from behind guests, so you can barely see or hear anything. The audio was also unacceptable. We were promised professional sound, yet my dad's speech had music playing over it, and even overlapped with my father-daughter dance song -- completely ruining those moments. The photography was not much better. Edits were inconsistent, coloring was off, and basic retouching was missed. We also noticed missing photos from moments we know were captured, including pictures with family during dinner. Communication throughout the process was poor. Emails went unanswered for weeks, and when I followed up, I was told it was their "busy season." When I reached out about missing photos, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, this experience did not reflect what was promised or what we paid for. I would not recommend their services.
