Overall the food is really good. Better than my usual place except for the cheese Rangoon. It was very very very greasy and just tasted like oil. The fried rice has really good flavor, and the sweet and sour chicken was cooked perfectly(no hard pieces). The broccoli with garlic sauce was tasty and the Singapore Mae fun is spicy just like I like it. They forgot to give me the rice but, I called right away and the guy immediately brought it. Yelpers, try Ju Yuan's kitchen! Their food is ready quickly, deliciously, and with soo much love. They are very professional, alert, and engaging which makes ordering from them fun and trusting. Their customer service is superb! A plus! When you order it takes about 30 minutes to receive the order through delivery, which is excellent considering how many customers they have. The drivers are kind, attentive, and respectful which makes ordering that more fun. Their is one dish that I do not care for, that doesn't seem to be made the best it can be, but others like it so maybe it's just me. ‍ Anyway, try this place out! read more

Been ordering from this place for at least 20+ years, I remember when they first got the spot over in Arlington plaza. At least 25 years in business, they have been through a few changes in management through the years but have always held on. Have watched the kids that used to be toddlers, playing with toys and learning the ins and outs of business - grow up before my eyes into now managing the place. Which may be why some of quality of food and service as of late, has been a bit wonky. New management means new ways of doing everything, and if you have the same people who've been there for years making the food and holding the place down - there is room for error. But how can you blame them? They are a neighborhood staple that has stood the test of time through everything and all the changes. read more

Sure it may seem like a whole in the wall Asian restaurant but this place by far has the best food on this side of town in that plaza. Always have gotten fresh delicious flavorful food. That chicken curry, hands down has great heat and a taste that makes you want to come back for more. Can say the same for every other dish they've served me. Been years, and I will still go as long as they're open. I can't understand the bad reviews on here for this place, maybe you just came on a bad day or a change of management or employees. Stuff happens, even the best five star restaurant will have a bad day for food prep and quality. You can't let one bad experience ruin the chance to keep a gem like this. read more

In the past 4 months I have order food here 3 times. Now this these arnt the first. The food had always been mediocre to me. Not bad, not great... My sister loves it... 2 times ago, The crab ragoon and wontons were very over cooked. The crab Ragoon had a very small amount of crab and cream cheese compared to the large amount of over cooked pastry. The rest, chicken and lo mien was okay. The next time I got beef lo mien. And crab Ragoon again. I was hopeful the Ragoon was going to be cooked better knowing it had in the past!! It was! HOWEVER, it was so oily, I squeezed the 3 I ate in 2-3 napkins each. I didn't even want the other ones. The beef lo mien was heart breaking. Now it could have just been this time. Most of it was on the top, making me think it was pre cooked and added on the end. (I have worked at a Chinese restaurant before at sometimes they do this with the pork for the rice-never meat and sauce) Anyways, beef was so tough I literally could not bite or chew it. I had my friend try it to make sure it wasn't me... Gave up and ate he noodles. This third time did it for me!! BY FAR THE WORST DELIVERY EVER!! I called to place an order at a girls house I had babysat for. She has always had anxiety about ordering food, making calls, etc... Her phone was on the charger dead so I called from mine, ordered than left. When he arrived, The American delivery man called me. Already upset he had to deliver. Asked if he had to go upstairs. I said no, she stays across the parking lot in the single appt. He gets mad, "she? It's not your food? DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD IT IS OUTSIDE?" I said yes actually, I just got home from where you are... Proceeding to try to help him, finally just giving her number, he replies, "WELL NOW I HAVE TO WRITE A NUMBER DOWN, ugh see this is why... " I interrupted him with the number. Then he game me permission to give it to him when I was ready... Keeping my temper so the girl got her food and not spit in.. I gave it to him and told him he needed to work on his customer service skills and manners because is attitude is very rude and unnecessary. He then told me, "next time you need to call from the place you're at!" I suggested learning how to speak to people. And hung up.... Believe that will be the place I go any more!!! read more

The people here were very rude. The fried rice is very dry and bland. The won ton soup was excellent and the general tso chicken was too.

We ordered 2 Sweet Sour Chicken and 2 Orange Chicken, all with fried rice. I first notice an odd musty smelling odor when I was getting the rice out of the container. It smelled like old musty water. I thought maybe it was the box they delivered our food in. I took one bite of the fried rice and immediately had to spit it back out...it tasted like old water and it smelled horrible. All 4 of us could not eat the rice it was so bad. I called Ju Yuan Kitchen to let them know how the rice smelled and tasted, however the woman on the phone started to get upset with me and said that they have been in business for many years and they cook the rice the same way, then she insisted there was nothing wrong with the rice. She said what do you want us to bring you more rice. I told her I didn't call to get more food or a refund and that I called just to let them know that something is wrong and she continued to say I was wrong and that the rice was fine. I had to hang up on her because she just wanted to argue about it. I will never eat food from here again! read more
