The people here were very rude. The fried rice is very dry and bland. The won ton soup was excellent and the general tso chicken was too.

My partner has insisted for a long time that Chin's is the best Chinese in the Akron area. He used…read moreto live just around the block, but now we live in Cuyahoga Falls, and in the 4 years we've been here, I've been pretty disappointed by every place we've tried (except for Sushia Asia Gourmet, which has a great Sichuan menu). Chin's appears to be more Cantonese style; while there is a dining room, it is has apparently been closed since COVID. We had a couple drinks at Frank's Place and placed our order. 15 minutes later, it was hot and ready. My car smelled so good that my mouth was watering. He ordered the Cantonese chicken, which was good but kind of basic. My stir fried chicken and veggies in ginger sauce were better--and the veggies were so fresh and crisp. You may have noticed, but there's a garden behind the restaurant, and they grow a lot of their own produce. The star of the night was the veggie Egg Foo Young, which I'd never tried before. I saw photos of it online and had to try it. Wow. Egg Foo Young: where have you been all my life? I feel like I'm going to have a new food hyperfixation because this was absolutely delicious and fresh, and I've never had anything like it before. It was a very thin, very crispy omelet with veggies folded in, and then it was covered with a flavorful brown gravy. There are so many other things I want to try, and I can confidently say that my partner was right. It was worth the drive, and our food stayed warm even after a pit stop for beer on the way home. Our meal at Chin's was a reminder of just how good Chinese food can be when it's just not chicken nuggets covered in a sweet sauce.

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

Then when I asked for a refund, I was told I would get one and then the crazy owner. That's what she identified herself as hung up on me and told me she wasn't doing anything for me even though I had taken pictures next to the pictures that I created my order from and said all of this food is different not only was it different. It was horrible. The worst Chinese food I've ever had here and I've eaten Chinese food in Singapore all over Asia. This is not Chinese food at all. It's disgusting and I would highly recommend you don't eat food from there, especially because the owner will not stand behind the food. They cook and prepare and they just hope you're on a trip like I am and won't come back because it's so terrible. Unfortunately, for them after she said she wasn't going to do anything for my order my bank realize that I sent him the information I provided him with information for the pictures and then I had also taken pictures of the food that they had given me so yeah my bank took care of me thank you very much US bank for doing the right thing. You should be ashamed of yourself Szechuan gourmet there is nothing gourmet about your restaurant and this is coming from actually a real restaurant owner. I would never ever treat my guess the way you treated me over the phone you are rude. You produce bad food and hopefully you're not in business for that much longer. It's a shame that you do that and you pass it off as Chinese food especially Szechuan maybe you should look up the province and understand the food that comes from there.

Not your typical Chinese food, menu prices are a little higher, but it is a nicer place than the standard grab and go Chinese fare. I will say their vegetarian section of the menu is a little confusing, as it is labeled "primarily vegetable" and several of the dishes have pork included. That said, after browsing the menu, we settled on the wonton soup, spinach, mushroom & tofu soup, vegetable spring rolls, Noble calamari, and Noble lo mein. The spinach, mushroom & tofu soup was amazing...the standout dish for me for sure. It was light and flavorful and perfect for the chilly NE Ohio evening. My friend enjoyed her wonton soup as well and said it was different than what she expected. I did not care for the calamari but the dipping sauce it came with was good and I really enjoyed the spring rolls. The lo mein noodles were very thin but my friend enjoyed that dish as well. All in all it was a nice evening and I would go back for more soup and to try another dish. Thank you, Noble House!
