We got boba and one of each available cupcake to sample for my friend's wedding this fall…read more The tapioca pearls in the boba were the worst I've ever had. I saw them sitting out on the counter and didn't know that was an issue till I looked it up later. They are apparently not supposed to sit out at all. No wonder they tasted so weird. The matcha powder was not good quality either. We tried the chocolate, german chocolate, lemon, birthday cake, strawberry, and black forest cupcakes. The cupcakes were very underwhelming for a professional bakery. Some of the cake was clearly from a box and very dry. The buttercream wasn't very good and wasn't consistent across cakes. Some were grainy and others had a waxy texture. Some, if not all, of the filling was definitely out of a jar or store bought, especially the cherry filling in the black forest. The filling was also very minimal. The communication was also very concerning and scared us away from considering them for an event as important as a wedding. We attempted to email and submitted an info request but got no response at all. We had to call on two seperate occasions to get someone on the phone and when we did the person clearly did not know enough about the bakery itself to help get us information. Would not recommend at all.

The owner was very friendly and took time to welcome us and talk for quite a while. The lady who took our order at the counter was very friendly and nice as well. We ordered sandwiches which had the freshest most delicious bread. This is a lovely, sweet, bakery with so many delicious items to choose from. We traveled from Surprise area to get there and it was well worth the trip! We will definitely be going back!

I discovered Rise Up Bakery in a very roundabout way. Someone stopped by our business trying to…read moresell us on a service we absolutely did not need, but he happened to bring along a box of cookies from Rise Up Bakery. Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

My boyfriend and I quite enjoyed our visit. I was really…read morecraving a fresh flavorful, savory croissant, and this fulfilled my craving. I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. We arrived on a Saturday around 1130 am and their was plenty of items available Can't wait to come back
