This is the third time this year that I have been disappointed with my experience at Taco City, and I feel it is important to bring this to your attention. On multiple occasions, I have specifically requested no raw onions, yet I have received meals consisting almost entirely of raw onions. Additionally, the meat quality has been extremely poor -- several times it has been so tough that it was difficult to chew. The drive-through service has also been consistently inaccurate. It often feels as though my order is either not being recorded correctly or not being followed at all. Today, for example, I ordered the mini taco plate with no raw onions and cheese. Instead, I received three tacos with avocado and no cheese -- the exact opposite of what I requested. I understand that mistakes can happen, but repeated errors and lack of attention to customer requests are frustrating and disappointing. God awful service. Can't even get an order right. Place order over the phone and repeated the order several times and it's still wrong.

When calling they only speak Spanish NO ENGLISH so you can't call for your service. Always get a receipt as the cost for your meal changes depending on who is taking you food. Other wise the food is pretty good. read more

This place always comes through with the best breakfast burritos. Potatoe and beans southsider style hits every time.

The food tasted good, but the problem was they failed to get the order right. I specifically ordered a potato and cheese only burrito because my friend is allergic to eggs. We take the food home to eat only to find out that it was all egg with very little potato or cheese. So we had to drive back 20 minuets each way and I asked them to remake the order because I didn't want to eat cold food. The remade her burrito with potato and a tiny bit of cheese that was almost undetectable and they just rewrapped my cold burrito and sent us on our way. Needless to say I will not be going back to that place. The staff was nice but they can't keep business with cold food and wrong orders. read more

**First time** Today I went to Taco City, it was my first time going and I said I wanted a taco "number one" (reminder that on their sign the number one shows a taco with cilantro and onions and beef) I specified that I wanted beans and no beef, what I received was a corn taco with only beans. ONLY beans. No cilantro and no onions just beans. Now this may just be a first-timers mistake and I believe that you have to try a place twice to really give a good review but for now 2 stars. Used to be a huge fan of taco city. Never again. I have health restrictions and can't have flour or corn tortillas. I asked for just the meat and cheese from the taco in a bowl or a taco bowl that they can create. The man's response ... "nah". I explained that I will pay whatever is necessary.... "nah" again.... This is ridiculous. So many people have health restrictions, diets (keto), etc. if they couldn't do it, that's one thing. But his attitude was disgusting. Great addition to the TacoCity name, has a drive thru which is really convenient but I have noticed that after this location was opened they have increased their prices a bit. They used to give limes with every order of street tacos but more recently they have been leaving them out which is a shame. The food is as good as the stand and I will continue to go there as long as their prices stay reasonable. read more
