Saw a Facebook post for this restaurant today. The owner posted 2 pizzas. A taco pizza and a chorizo pizza. So we decided to drive into town and give the restaurant a try. We ordered a bean and cheese burrito, 3 rolled tacos, a quesadilla and the 2 pizzas we saw. When we went to place the order it was weird because I didn't realize that the Mexican restaurant was actually a pizza place too. So when we asked for the price of the pizza we were told it was the price of the pizza depending on the size. However, all of the pizza were different prices. We were informed that our order would take 30 mins due to the pizza. We were going to wait in the restaurant which was cute and clean but we decided to leave and come back. When we got home we opened the pizzas. We got the chorizo pizza and then a some sort of supreme pizza. We were really looking forward to the taco pizza we saw but it was definitely not what we saw. The chorizo pizza was full of flavor and delicious. I love this concept! The supreme pizza was kind of bland. I wish the dough was cooked through a little bit more. It was a little bit soggy. Despite not getting the right pizza. The food was good the guacamole was very fresh and the chicken in the taquitos was seasoned very well. We will be back.

Chicken taco and chicken enchilada platter...I believe the #4

Went for lunch solely on the Yelp reviews. This is a cute little place that opens at 11am... Went up to the counter and ordered chicken taco and chicken enchilada platter, and hubby got a bean cheese and rice burrito. When asked about sauce we asked for the hottest one and it did NOT disappoint. This food is authentic and absolutely delicious! We were planning on hitting Margaritas for the evening..so it was going to be a double Mexican meal day for us....the other restaurant does not deserve its four star rating..you will see if you look up a separate review on them. Please keep this open..it is so reasonable and just such fantastic food..their beans are just incredible.

Food was tasty. Service was slow. Better have an hour and a half for lunch if you come here.

Good food. Could use some more sauce choices as there is mild, which tastes good, then super hot, which also tastes good but is pretty hot.

The location is perfect, the food was great and the customer service was very good and friendly. This was our second night staying at the Prospector Hotel. We ate dinner at Margarita's on both of our stays (within the same week going to and coming back from Idaho) with breakfast this morning on our second stay. The staff were quite friendly and all were on their game and attentive. The food was very good and abundant. I had the Mexican Rib-eye steak last night and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. Breakfast this morning was Machaca and Eggs. Lots of it perfectly cooked and great to taste. Oh, and their salsa is outstanding! We'll be back if we ever head this way again. Margarita's was outstanding and so was the Prospector Hotel and Gambling Hall. They're both a gem in north-central Nevada!

First off, the poor kid at the host desk was visible flustered. Despite only a few customers in the restaurant. He was nice, but I felt like an inconvenience. Second, there is a $1.75 charge to go. I saw it when I paid the bill and thought, okay there's paper plates and to go boxes. I get it. But in reality, there should be a discount because you don't get chips and salsa with to-go orders. Third, our dishes were packaged to go by squishing them between plates. Gross, plus we list done of our food because it stuck to the top plate. Fourth, the quality of food is severely lacking. The nacho chips are cheap, low quality tortillas that just aren't worth the calories. The top of the nachos initially apparent have a decent amount of topping, but the reality is that once the top chips were consumed, all that was left were the crumby naked chips and they weren't even crispy. The steak fajitas were "ok". But nothing great and the steak pieces were too large and difficult to chew. Next time we are in Ely, we'll try a different place.

The food truck is set right in the middle of the cabins that the owners also run, and the whole setup has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There are two small patio areas where you can sit outside, rest after hiking, and enjoy the mountain air while eating something fresh and comforting. Sandra herself was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She shared parts of her story with me, a story of immigration, resilience, hard work, and success that genuinely warmed my heart. You can feel that this business was built with determination, hope, and a lot of love behind it. The food was excellent. We ordered chips and salsa, pork street tacos, and a chicken salad, and everything tasted fresh and homemade, care came through in every bite. Simple, authentic, sincere food done really well. After days of standard road-trip meals, this felt refreshing and personal in the best way. Overall, if you are in Baker after hiking or exploring Great Basin National Park, this is absolutely worth stopping for. Good food, kind people, and the kind of small business story that reminds you why local places matter.

The restaurant is located inside the hotel, but has its own walkway entrance from street side. Traditional original old school interior, has a certain charm to it, nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and plenty of space around you. This eatery is family run and operated, and the service is friendly and kind. I had several different family members wait on me or stop by my table to check on me during my meal and visit. I opted for the Chili Rellenos, a pair of beautifully prepared cheese filled rellenos with rice and beans, along with a lemonade. Served with a basket of house chips and two salsas. My entree was very good, the pablanos were nicy prepared and stuffed and breaded in a traditional manner. Flavorful and well seasoned, a solid choice if I like rellenos, this is a good plate. I enjoyed my meal at a relaxed pace and made to feel at home while there. A fair price with good service. Worth a visit and your support. 4 Stars recommended 01019

I started with dinner menu item # 8, 2 Chile Rellenos with flower tortillas, beans, and red rice. They serve bottled beer and drinks so I chose a Negro Modelo. For my second coarse I ordered the Chicken Mole. The mole sauce was wonderful. This time I chose the corn tortillas. I had a second beer. This is a family run business which has been here since 2023. I would recommend you stop for lunch or dinner as you travel along the loneliest highway in America. After your meal you can walk up and down the Main Street of Eureka and see this old western town.
