A happy and very satisfied customer from California!
    Mary J.

Loved this steakhouse. Wanted to go to the 'best restaurant in town' and my friends brought me here. Our waitress was very kind & patient and seemed pleased to serve us. Started off w a delicious side salad w yummy bleu cheese dressing. Then it came time to order- we were torn between all the amazing steaks so we decided to each try a different one. From the largest steak on the menu (rib eye) to the filet mignon to the 8 oz sirloin everything was cooked to perfection! I think the steaks tasted extra good because they come straight from their own cattle ranch. I was blown away by the juiciness of the steaks and how they were simply melt in your mouth delicious. The loaded mashed potatoes were delicious although I also would've loved some gravy! :) ** please do my friend a favor and ORDER THE SCALLOPED POTATOES!!! She insists these are the best ever made! I'll be back, JT's!!

I really enjoyed dining here. I was very impressed by the quality of the local steaks and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the blueberry mojito. It was very refreshing! The bread that they brought out was pretty stale and cold so I'd skip eating that. The crust on the filet mignon was perfect and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had! It came with two sides and I decided to get the Mac n' Alfredo and the sauce was made in house and was very delicious and filling. The crème brûlée had a great flavor and a nice sugar crust but it was a very odd texture. It was almost as if tapioca or bread pudding was added to it. I'd definitely recommend coming here especially for the local steaks!

We love going to JT's. Always good, consistent, and I am obsessed with that Mac'n Alfredo. So yummy! Next time I want to try their loaded potato with the mac and steak. We also went to breakfast this morning, and we ordered the biscuits and gravy bowl and French toast, both excellent!

New York Strip, Alfredo-Mac and mashed potatoes.

Ate here on a work trip and it was decent. The New York Strip was tender but almost too tender if that makes sense. Had a strange texture so I wouldn't get it again. The sides were better, the Mac-Alfredo was the best part of the meal so if I ate here again I would just get that most likely. The wait steady is really good though and very friendly. They made me a cocktail off the non alcohol menu but I had them make it with vodka and it was great. Maybe I'm used to higher end steakhouses but the atmosphere being insure a tiny casino with smoke filtering in and hotel rooms 5 feet from the restaurant entrance was not ideal.

Located inside the Copper Queen Ramada by Wyndham hotel, you can find JT's Steakhouse. Decor and ambiance might leave something to be desired. HOWEVER, the food was delicious! I ate breakfast two times, sampling the basic two-egg breakfast with sausage patty and then steak (sirloin) and eggs. Both came with potato medallions and all were absolutely fantastic. Tried dinner here twice as well, having barbecue shrimp (which didn't really seem barbecued but were OUTSTANDING) and the New York strip dinner with sides of Mac and Alfredo (unbelievably good) and brussel sprouts. The steak was excellent. Apparently they source everything locally, especially their beef from Perigo Farms. Perigo beef made such an impression, we will be ordering it to be shipped to our home. Staff was different at every one of our visits and were all friendly and delightful. Sampled the Whiskey Sunset cocktail, also awesome. If you are staying in Ely and need to find a spot to eat once, this place should be at the top if the list.

Im normally pretty unimpressed with a hotel restaurant /steakhouse especially in a small town like Ely... I was 100% surprised with one of the best rib eyes I've ever had! and the scalloped potatoes were perfectly cooked in cream and not a rue with flower and cheese... the chef knows his S&/+! Janet at the bar was awesome! 10/10 if you are in Ely don't pass on this!

Fantastic meal. Great, flavorful steak. Adorable waitstaff. Reasonably priced. Don't let its location (in a hotel) fool you!

Five stars for just existing in such a remote location. My server suggested that they had a prime rib dinner special that evening and I couldn't resist trying it. The food wasn't over the top in flavor and quality but was solid, flavorful and an unexpected treat. The prickly pear margarita wasn't my favorite but was certainly refreshing. I just like a little more tart taste in my cup o' tequila. The international crowd seemed to enjoy the outdoor dining ambiance while I, being solo, hung out and ate at the bar. The staff were friendly, maybe a little inefficient in their efforts, but all were helpful given time. I felt a little bad for the owner-chef, who seemed to be herding cats at times. Overall, I'm really glad I had dinner here in Baker rather than waiting to eat in Ely where I spent the night. I wish the owners and staff success and will be back when I'm in the area.

The servers were next-level friendly and prompt despite the dinner rush, they have some fun art, and it's a peaceful place. I really loved the green beans, and another favorite item was the apricot sorbet. They make a ton of items, which is very cool. I only wish they had a few more dairy-free items (especially for breakfast), but what they do offer is far better than expected for this remote location- it would stand up in any metro area. My husband raved about the root beer float, pasta, and pizza. Dinner is sit-down and if you go for breakfast or lunch, it's counter service. They have an extremely well-stocked bar- we didn't partake, but many around us did, and drinks looked excellent.

Four of my friends and I went to dinner here last Friday night and while we were waiting to be served they were complaining about the last time they had been in and how long it took to get there food. This time was no exception. The place was somewhat busy and I believe there was only one waitress. The atmosphere was noisy, the waitress was friendly and on top of it as she could be. The food was average and took a while to get. This being said it is Eureka NV with not many choices for places to work or eat so if you decide to stop in you will have to just grin and bare it.

There wasn't much of a choice. Service was ok, I think the poor boy was overworked managing the whole dining room himself and rude demanding customers screaming at him. Interior was nothing special, felt a little dirty. Had to ask for condiments. My hubbys cheeseburger was good but my chicken Philly cheesesteak had gigantic chicken slices so I can't pick it up and bite into it without the chicken falling out. I'm used to small, shredded pieces of chicken in a cheesesteak! Lemonade tastes like cough syrup. Afterwards, I had the worst stomachache the whole way home back to California. I know it's the desert but I would skip. PS: what is up with all the broken and chipped plates??? This shows this place truly does not care about the perception and the dining experience. Check out my broken chipped plate. My hubbys plate was worst with multiple chipped spots, can't see too well but check out his cheeseburger picture, you can see a chip on his plate.
