The food from Juan's was pretty good. I had ordered on Uber Eats. The regular taco was tasty with ground beef that was nicely seasoned. .my daughter had a kid's chicken quesadilla. She loved it and she can be picky. She also loved the side of chips. The Juan's nachos were very tasty as well. I had the chicken. It was not short on toppings. I would recommend packing the chips separately for to go orders though. Most of the chips were very soggy. Delicious but soggy. read more

Juan's is the local riff off of Moe's or Chipotle. Tacos, burritos, bowls, fresh made salsa, queso. I've never been disappointed with he quality or taste of the food; and I've NEVER been disappointed with the portions. I can rarely finish my order! We have given this place 3 chances and every time they have messed up a simple order! Tonight was the last straw!!! I placed 2 taco salad orders! Both with chicken, both sour cream guacamole and rice! One order was missing chicken! The other was missing sour cream! One order was supposed to have olives and the other no olives and guess what they both had olives!! You had one job a simple order and couldn't do that right! I would not recommend this place!! Like a deja vu' version of Moe's or Chipotle,with it's own version of the same belt bustin' burritos, how could you go wrong? Just salivate on down the line as your burrito pickings are folded neatly into your tortilla until that point when you choose to bite into it and it blows up in your face forcing you to sop the rest up with a spoon. If that's what you are into I think Taco Bell offers some options that might come close to the stuff at these Americanized Mexican fast food places that are so good in a pinch. This place, like Moe's and Chipotle does win out on ingredients used and burrito size. However, with so many awesome, authentic Mexican joints nearby you can't help but feel a greasy not hitting one of them up instead. read more

Had to be in the area for work and stopped by at this place, because there wasn't much time for lunch and it was right down the road from where I was. My two coworkers joined me. We were there around 1pm and had to wait in a short line to get our order in. Didn't have to wait at all after we ordered as they are preparing food right in front of you. 3 people moved quick and were efficient. I had a loaded chicken burrito and my colleagues had quesadilla and a taco salad. Burrito seemed smaller than at other places and wasn't toasted, but it came out very filling and yummy. I heard good feedback about the other two meals as well. One thing I didn't like, was the tortilla chips that came with my burrito. They tasted wheat, but I like corn better. Don't think, they had those... My colleague made a comment about staff not being friendly, but I guess, I was too hungry to notice. read more

It was difficult to pass by Juan's while working in Dunedin and not stop in every time. If you want a Burrito that doesnt F around then this i where you need to go. The restaurant is very clean, smells good and fast. The inside is recently remodeled and is very trendy. You walk up to the grill, just like subway and request ingredients. It is very simple and fast. Ingredients are always top quality and fresh and tastes awesome. I always order beef, steak or chicken burritos usually. My guy & I were looking for a Mexican restaurant while we were out of town and not quite sure of where to go.. We pulled up the reviews for some of the closest restaurants and Juans seemed to have the best results. We were very satisfied we stopped in. The employees were happy to offer suggestion to new guests, very friendly, the food was so fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms...And they offered generous portions for a good price. We might take a ride south just for Juans burrito or quesadillas. I stopped for a quick lunch the other day and ordered the taco salad with ground steak in the taco shell bowl. I loved it. The ingredients seemed fresh, the shell was no greasy like some places serve it, and it was a perfect portion for an on the go lunch. Price was great too, only $6.99 for the salad. I visit Juan's Mexican Grill for lunch or a quick take out for dinner often. The place is clean. The selection is usually the same, but very fresh. You order your food and watch them construct your nachos or burritos right in front of you (i.e., Chipolte or Moe's style). It is not fine dining, but it is very good and consistent. read more

Unfriendly and unwelcoming staff the day we went in. The "sweet tea" was some strange concoction I've never tasted before and never want to again. The unsweet tea tasted kind of like poison! Food was ok, guacamole was good. I'm not sure if we could've gotten more tortilla chips or not because they give them to you from behind the counter by the register. Salsa to me isn't chopped up tomatoes but that's what they offered me. I asked for "the liquid kind"!!! and I got some that was pretty good. Won't go again. I love this place because their food is delicious and doesn't taste like other Mexican joints I've been. I can taste all the flavors and freshness. I always order the softens hard tacos in steak or chicken. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some Mexican food. The only thing that gets me is that the tacos are on the smaller size for their price. I'm a small girl but I could probably eat 5 of those tacos. Still pretty damn good though. read more

I can't understand what people like in this food. It's underfilled, soggy, and greasy. I had a chicken soft taco that made the shell so soggy it was like slop. The meat left a huge grease spot under where it sat in the togo box. Chips were okay but nothing special. Both had so little filling in them that I was left searching through my fridge for the rest of my dinner. I think Juan's used to be better when they first opened years ago, but since then have just gone corporate and decided growing and opening more locations was more important than providing great food. read more

Not an authentic Mexican restaurant. It's similar to Moe's or Chipotle that tries to masquerade itself as a Mexican restaurant. The person at the counter was not friendly and seems annoyed. The spicy chicken was not spicy and was tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed was the queso. read more

Juans is good, fast food at reasonable prices. I would say they rate below most other local chains but they are decent. Until recently I wasn't too sure because they are one of those places who fills the burritos with rice. I tried the nachos with pulled pork and it turned my 1 or 2 stars that I would have rated them to a 3. The chips and salsa are very mediocre and you really get no salsa for an order. If they had more of a selection or better chips and salsa they would get a much higher rating. Those nachos are really good though! read more

Juan's is one of my favorite local eateries in Pinellas. Small and quaint, but the food and prices rock! Every time we have visitors from out of town - we end up doing lunch at Juan's at least once. If you live w/in 15 minutes do yourself a favor and skip the fast food chain Mexican places (about the same price) - you will never go back. read more
