Extremely Disappointed with Juan Pollo's Catering and Customer Service. Long time customer and I recently placed a large catering order with Juan Pollo for a family event, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. Not only did they give me the wrong items, but when I called to address the issue, the response was shocking. I spoke with the manager, Michael, who was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the possibility that a mistake was made, he gave me attitude and belittled me. Michael's behavior was unprofessional and condescending--he made me feel as if I was dumb and blind and insisted that the error was on my end. I was literally staring at the food in front of me, but he says I was wrong. I've never encountered such terrible customer service, especially from someone in a managerial position in food hospitality. Given this experience, I will never return to Juan Pollo and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I became acquainted with this business through grubhub. I have never been happier that they didn't have El Pollo loco available for delivery, it has nothing on this chicken. I can't begin to say how amazing this chicken is, if there was a standard of perfection for chicken this would be it. The meat is tender and moist, just perfectly season, salted and charred to give the chicken an unforgettable taste. The meat falls right off the bones in every bite, the skin is evenly cooked and not greasy or burnt. I only ordered one chicken, I wish I had ordered more than one. In fact, I will be ordering more than one per order from now on. This chicken is definitely a must try! The customer service is such a hit and miss at this location. Went this past week (Thursday) and the rudest service worker was at he register. He did not speak nor greet, and when spoken to by us he did not speak back. He literally just stared at us with the nastiest smirk on his face. This time it was the balding receding hairline Hispanic guy. The women are VERY VERY KIND there and give awesome customer service! Anyway, It resulted in two out of the three of us there to walk out. Only reason the third one didn't because he already placed his order. Listen the bottom line is when you're in the service industry a hello, welcome, what can I get you goes a long way especially since it's not inexpensive to eat there. Food is great but attitude suuuuiicks! It's a chicken joint so ppl are not looking for pomp and circumstance but a simple smile or hello goes a long way with the public. Even though they're all related, this location is legit the only one me and my co workers ever have these kinds of problems. At one point the overweight white guy that was so rude and had such bad energy we swore this location off for more than a year. We went to the Hemet location where his sister works who is fun and pleasant, but I haven't seen him and GOOD. Obviously the San jacinto location is a reflection of him when it comes to the men and terrible attitudes. Lake Elsinore gives decent customer service and the Hemet location gives great vibes and service. Unfortunately me and about 10 co workers have now officially sworn off this location. We refuse to pay for sucky and disrespectful service. Also since we work for the county and always have events our office has decided to swear off this location as well because of the numerous complaints from us. Tacos were very plain with no flavor. Actually tossed a couple. Burritos were the same. Got there 15 min before closing, the grill was already off so couldn't get half our order. The cook seemed very annoyed, and half of what we ordered was put in a microwave. The Pollo I put on my grill has more flavor. For a spot that states "best in so cal" is a far stretch. Just moved here from OC and many fast food taco joints are 10x better. Won't be back thats for sure. The cook needs a better attitude, if you get annoyed by customers your in the wrong field.. Love this place! I am not a fan of the beans, but their rice and potato salad make up for it! I skip the beans and go with double potato salad! YUM!!! Their food is always fresh and tastes great! Ordered carne asada nachos and they had no chips so i switched over to a carne asada burrito. The meat was not cut properly. Huge chunks of non chewable fat were placed in my burrito.
