After running some errands I decided to try Las Morelianas a try. After making up my mind I ordered a Chicken Burrito with salsa and onions expecting it to be ok. I previously rated this place 4 stars however I went again and they were out of lengua and pastor. So I changed my order and got taquitos with a side of beans and rice. I get home clear on the other side of town and there's no beans and rice and the taquitos looked awful and were small. I headed back to get my beans and rice which I was charged for and they closed an hour early. Luckily their door was unlocked so I tell them they shorted me out of food and he gives me 2.00 back even though I got charged 3.00 for it. Didn't try to give me the beans or rice, no offer of a drink, nothing. Will not return here again. read more

Went here with my wife & kids. Everything looked pretty good but when I got the asada torta I ordered I couldn't believe it barely had any meat in it. My kids got tacos and their tacos had more meat than my torta. Guess I'll find somewhere else read more

The food was great, and the people are nice. My wife had the tacos and sopes. The portions were big and the taste was great. I had the torta and the asada fries. The sodas were great because they were the Mexican Cokes, which uses real sugar, so that gave the food a better, richer and enjoyable flavor. First time there, was looking to have a shrimp cocktail. I ordered a large cocktail, it was the worst shrimp cocktail I had ever had, full of onions and tomatoes, never tasted any shrimp until I got to the bottom and I can actually count the shrimp, it only had 6 very tiny prefrozen shrimp extremely salty and over cooked. I guess it was authentic, but as a gringo I was not very impressed with the rather large slices of pig liver that come with the mixed carnitas. Between the liver and bone and gristle in every mouthful I can say I was pretty turned off. 2 stars because they're nice and maybe liver in carnitas is a treat for real Mexicans read more

Not bad. I had carnitas burrito because its their speciality. It was pretty good-flakey and flavorful. I got a big bunch of gristle though so that was a little yucky. I did eat it all (the burrito, not gristle) though. Burrito is Big. Red salsa was pretty spicey. Idk if ill go back. It seems pretty authentic. If a little gristle doesnt bug you, try this place out. I think the negative reviews ordered the wrong thing. This place specializes in carnitas, and they do them very very well. These have got to be the most authentic, moist and delicious carnitas I have ever had. I highly recommend just getting a pound of carnitas as you can definitely eat it all.
