This place is so good, I don't even know where to start! I stopped by today because I saw a banner that said, "Fish Tacos, $0.99: Wed & Sun". It happened to be Wednesday, so I was down! The fish tacos were so fresh and perfect. Not to mention, the white sauce on top was beyond delicious. The fish tacos were exactly like the fish tacos at the old Señor Baja on Florida Ave. To top it off, they had a little bar with roasted jalapeño peppers, marinated carrots, and fresh radishes. Did I mention they sell pupusas? Oh yes, this place has definitely earned their 5 stars, for sure! Also, cool people running the front counter... he gave me free chips and salsa as I waited for my pupusas (which usually takes a long time anywhere - I expected to wait so much longer, but it wasn't a very long wait after all). Pricey, nice servers but not a customer first mentality, and mid-to-straight up awful tasting food. I do not recommend the caldo de res as the meat smelled like it went bad and they said it was fresh..... they didn't believe it tasted bad because someone apparently said it was good earlier? Okay... and my mom has had it before. The wet burrito and carne asada fries were decent. I wasn't expecting them to refund me but considering the tip I gave from the beginning I thought they'd at least believe us that the meat went bad... it smelled horrible. I've read most reviews, to me Orozco's is going down hill. I know the economy is hard right now but if you give quality food and good and fair service to ALL people your business will remain. If you try to give food that you wouldn't serve to your own family what makes you think that the public won't notice that?? Read your reviews, 2 to 4cyears ago you were getting good reviews....now, not so good. Notice the ethnicities of the people giving you poor reviews. That should tell you that you do a better service for people of your own kind. THAT IS NOT RIGHT!! Today my lovely other half and I came to Orozoco's and were so satisfied with everything! We got two fish tacos each and ate them in minutes with smiles on our faces. The crispy fish and fresh veggies and delicious green salsa was the perfect dinner. So much so that we ordered another two tacos each !! The flavor it's great; I have tried popusas, my favorite caldo de res and shrimp tacos and of course cannot miss the Coca Cola .

Went and got a fish taco , shrimp taco, and a carnival tacos and ALL were tasty especially the fish and shrimp. Plus a tasty ginormous jalapeño. This place was Recommended ....to try the pupusas but I was very disappointed no flavor !! (I sounded like the guy from the 5th element) LOL. Also tried the taquitos and crispy chicken tacos all above average fresh and delicious the green tomatillo sauce is one of the best I have tried anywhere.
