Very delicious food! Employees r very nice definitely my favorite place for family meals

In 2012, I first tried this place with a few coworkers because we a job in the area. I loved it. Three years later, I tried it again. It was OK. I thought In terms of the moistness, I believe it to be better than El Pollo Loco and Charo Chicken, but I just wish the skin was a little crispier. i love the complaints on here about how i had to wait or they didn't give me a fork. this place is always packed at lunch so they must be doing something right. if the food doesn't have flavor its because you have to add it to your liking. theres stuff there to add to your food. do you want it swimming in sauce? the food is fresh. you can see the chicken being cooked. the rice as 1 guy put it took the shape of the bowl, duh! rice does that. for those who do take out theres spoons and forks near the napkins, don't forget to get them before you leave. also for those who need more flavor theres salt, pepper, and taco sauce next to the napkins, don't forget to load up before you leave. if you learn to pay attention you might enjoy your meal a bit more. i always have a good meal, get friendly service, and don't mind waiting in line for some of the best chicken tacos in this area. read more

I strolled in here with a Juan pollo coupon they told me it was not good for this location, so Now I'm confused. Anyways, I order the special a whole chicken 2 sides and brittle tortillas for about $13 total. Food was exactly what I expected, a safe choice freshly cooked nothing really special. For $6.00, it is definitely worth it. The chicken is soft and the skin is delicious. There is a bit of a wait during lunch hours so either go before or after 1pm to avoid the line. I definitely prefer this over El Polo Loco. It is not as juicy but it is much more authentic. I've only had the lunch special here so I can't comment on anything else. We came here to try it out because we wanted something besides some fried food for dinner. We picked up a 2 chicken special for 13.99 with tortillas and salsa on the side. I just moved to West Covina from Texas, I had no idea where to go eat some chicken and saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. The food is very good, I sometimes to get the lunch special, or Mini special to go and left overs for work. They dont have chicken like this in Texas, so I am very fond. The customer service is good, always welcoming. The first time I went there a nice looking guy recommended me the lunch special which I why i eat there. Usually when i go there is always a girl with black hair and tall, shes always friendly and with smile.... We happened to pass by this place when we tried to get away from freeway traffic. Holy cow! They are amazing! The chicken was sooo tender it falls off the bone! I'm a white meat eater so it's very hard to not make it dry. Food is good price is awesome! Dont let the name mislead you and think they're the franchise Juan Pollo! Close to work and close to the real Juan Pollo...but cleaner than some I've seen. I like this place for lunch. I can call in my order and pick it up in a few minutes. If you're on a diet, I recommend the Super Chicken Salad....me loves it!!! read more

The Super Salad is very good. I get mine without chicken and tortilla strips on the side, as the salad is big and could be my lunch & dinner. Everyone from my office goes here and loves it. I recommend calling in 5 mins or so before you leave as there is usually a long line at lunch. read more

This is a family favorite since i can remember. Potato salad is my go to for pot lucks, it's always ready for pick up when they say it will be, and the price is a no brainer.. around $27 for a half tray which feeds i think 20-30. everything on the menu taste great! The Lunch Special is a tasty treat on a hot summer day. Two pieces of rotisserie chicken, spanish rice, homemade potato salad, fresh salsa and a soft drink for under six bucks! 5 stars for quality and value of food. The Raspberry Lipton Brisk tastes like ice cream too! I'd give them an official 5 star rating if they kept the place up a bit nicer. It kind of cheapens the experience a bit. I came last night for my first time, I've lived near the area my whole life. The chicken was really well flavored throughout(not just the skin). I got the family special I think, 2 whole chickens, 3 sides, plus tortillas and salsa. We ordered the mild salsa, which was great, next time tho I'm gonna add a little more spice. The wait wasn't long at all, the lady at the counter was super nice. And the restaurant was clean. Going to be going back for sure, and trying some other menu items. read more

This review is based on customer service. Went in yesturday to get a "to-go" menu for my husband who needs a picture to pick a place to eat.. (thats a whole other issue) Went in around 6 pm. The girl working with blondish hair was very rude. Was totally bothered by my pressence. If she was busy with customers , I could understand. But the place was EMPTY!! She handed me the menu and continued to tell me that the prices in there are wrong and are now higher. Which I told her was fine. I ordred from them in May for a teacher event at our school and everything was very good. Especially, the potato salad. I'm pretty sure she didnt hear the end of my story since she walked away from me while I was still talking to her. Needless to say my daughters and I walked right out of there and did not order a thing. Took my 45 bucks I was gonna spend right with me, and I doubt if I'll ever drop another $450 bucks again either. My 7 year old asked what was her problem. I have been coming here for a number of years. I found it since it is next to a Thai restaurant my mon liked when she was still around and living in Baldwin Park. I have since been to the Juan Pollo in Covina and in Glendora(?), and this place deserves the "Super" they have given themselves. I like the taste over the other pollos, and the people are always nice and accommodating. I recently went back after moving to Covina, and the taste is still the same, and the price is very reasonable. read more

the super pollo salad is awesome. I usually get mine with out avocado, not a big fan of that. I never leave with out getting a big cup of orange bang!! i like it.
