Maria and her team went above and beyond for my Mother's birthday party. First off, we were planning a huge party in only 3 weeks. Not only was Maria quick to respond, but she was also ready for the challenge. She answered all questions within minutes of me emailing her. She made it so easy to pick a theme, colors, meals, develop a program, get me in touch with the DJ, cake company.. it was just perfect On the night of, the ballroom was set up exactly as we requested, the cake was beautiful, the service was Impeccable and the food was delish! I had my wedding here January 2019. All I can say is don't. Things that we had issues with... Cake MC The photographer was horrible. We have only 1 photo of all the Groomsmen together. Thank goodness no one was blinking. They never put out our favors out. The worst thing is they called my soon-to-be husband over and over again the day of the wedding to ask question. read more

Not really much else I can say about the place, considering I haven't even been able to see what the inside of the place looks like. My daughters reception was held at Jubilee 18 years ago when they first started it was impeccable, great food, friendly service . Fast forward I was thrilled to attend an event I was invited to .... Room was impeccable .... Staff never smiled , not friendly , robots ... while the toasts were being made , you could hear the staff speaking from the back room, across from the DJ booth. The food was horrendous ... potatoes tasted from a box with water , green beans from a can ... the breaded chicken I was told was chicken Parmesan with no sauce or cheese ... how embarrassing ... every plate was picked up full from each table. I don't know where to begin. I got engaged Dec 31, 2017 and was overjoyed. My husband and I knew we didn't want to spend a whole lot of money but wanted to have something nice. We were referred to Jubilee ballroom, and for the money we wanting spend at that time the place seemed nice with the exception of some things I didn't like (satin chair covers, and table cloths). I knew somewhere along the way I would change them. When we first started our plans it was a lady name Alicia there, and then Iris. Iris was absolutely amazing in helping me with everything I needed, and questions answered. Where things went wrong is with the vendors they have attached to their packages. I of course had the majestic package that came with everything "everything basic". The florist was in hialeah, and spoke mostly Spanish. She was unaccommodating in her appointment making. She made an appointment with me and changed it, and it this time I was working in California at the time and was home for a certain amount of time at times. I would have to call Iris to have her call me back after calling her several times. I had to upgrade what she was offering me to about $200 plus to something that was my liking, which I have to say the upgrade was worth it because she did in fact do a great job. The photographer was very nice, but her work was outdated to me "we made it work". The caterer was absolutely horrible. My food tasting wasn't until October mind you my wedding was in the beginning of November. They had me pick up food that wasn't even my selection for my wedding, and the presentation was awful. Then when I questioned them about when would I taste the food that I selected I was told I had to wait for another event. Needless to say I tasted the grouper about a week before my wedding and it was horrible. I knew that would be one thing disappointing because it was too late at this time to change it. The Mistress of Ceremony was given a printed sheet of what to say to my guest about no phones out during ceremony, no movement, and just how to keep the flow going. Well that didn't happen as I had a guy walk across the dance floor as I was about to walk up to the officiant. People had their phones out taking pictures and recording, and ringing during the ceremony. I had to go to her and say we need to move things along. She was nice but just didn't cut it for me. They took my cake, and took forever cutting a lot of my guest said they never got cake. The cake company did ok, I was not to happy with the decor as I told them I didn't want a wide band of bling on my cake which was still done anyway, and of course I had an almost $200 upgrade with them as well. The limo service only had to pick me up from the hotel and bring me to the hall, and I wanted to go to a park five minutes away for pictures, and they charged me $150 for thirty minutes when in fact I never went to the park because it turned dark early so we were driven around the back of the building to the church for 15 minutes if that because the church had a ceremony going on and rushed us off their property. It was my one big day, and from where I started from to where I ended just say I doubled my budget to have the perfect day. Words of advice is if you truly want to spend a little of no money and are not picky they are the place, but for the amount of money that I spent on furniture changes, linen changes, upgrades to their package I could have went somewhere else. They really need to upgrade their vendors and have more than one vendor option for their customers. Also if your having 100 or more guest this is not the place, yes they say they can accommodate it but its really tight and crowded as my guest list was 120. read more

Jubilee overall wasn't terrible but I think theirs a lot of factors you should be aware of before paying the non-refundable deposit. I used Jubilee for my daughters Quiñce and before I committed to anything I wanted to make sure I would have some choice of vendors. Alicia assured me I would but ultimately I had none. For example when I didn't like the choice for the bakery I was told I could only get $50 refunded on my package. ($1 per guest. 50 people = $50) Alicia tried explaining about group rates and math calculations so it seemed pointless to argue. The florist only spoke Spanish and never answered her phone. Alicia had to be the middle man to hook us up. When we went for our consultation first question she asked us was what package do we have and then proceeded to show me packages that weren't included. The bakery didn't end up being bad. The MC which is extra went off script and just started adding something about butterflies during the introduction. And corrected my daughters friends about their poses during the individual pictures. The photographers are a husband and wife duet who I think has their son fill in for them. I'm sure they tried their best but I would proceed with caution. I choose to do the photo shoot at Vizcaya but somehow they got the dates mixed up and then joked it off saying I didn't confirm. We took a bunch of shots in the first dress and then barely any in the second. All the shoots with them felt the same. Very typical poses and at times felt like we were bothering them if we wanted to do something different. The day of the party they sent two people who I've never met before. The younger one (I guess their son never introduced himself). The video is the worst part, when the dancing started they basically put a camera on a tripod and hit record. No moving around just one shot. If you have to use them I would recommend getting an additional videographer. The staff at Jubilee were very nice. In fact the party point person made sure that I ate and offered to heat up my food. I believe Alicia does her best to accommodate as much as possible but at some point I feel like all these people forget that even though this maybe their 20th Quiñce of the month, this is the only one my daughter will have. read more

I visited 4 places near me to host my step-mother's 80th birthday. The day I walked in to view this banquet hall, they were getting ready for a wedding and the ballroom was decorated beautifully. When I saw their price list, I selected Jubilee Ballroom as the venue. Food was good, especially for "banquet" food. We had boliche, congri (black beans), and platanos maduros. The cake was not only pretty, but very tasty. We heard a lot of compliments from our guests on the decor and the food. The banquet manager is Alicia, and she's a pleasure to work with. If you happen to call at an off time and get her voicemail, she returns your call promptly, although if you call during regular business hours she actually answers the phone. When I spoke with DJ Orlando over the phone, I didn't know what to expect. He's not the most expressive individual. HOWEVER - I gave him an idea of what we wanted to play and his playlist was great. Lots of people dancing on a Sunday afternoon - who'd a thunk it? He's also a lot more personable in person than on the phone. I was very happy with the end result. The day of the event, Ivelisse (also the decorator), was attentive to our needs, questions, and such an accommodating and pleasant individual. We had planned to use our equipment to stream a slide presentation but our equipment malfunctioned. She had DJ Orlando work with us to get our presentation going with their equipment. If you don't mind that the ballroom is in a shopping center, I highly recommend this place. You can't beat the price for good food, open bar, great decor and friendly staff. read more

A little hidden gem in the heart of Pembroke Pines, what a shame the drinks and food are not up to par! The decor is well put together with Great detail, and taste. Well suited for Weddings, and any other party for that matter. The location is very easy to get to, it won't seem like much from the outside, but don't let that bring you down. It's very spacious with a nice size dance floor. The wedding we attended had approximately 50 guests, there was plenty of space for another 100 guests (Max). Jubilee was such a wonderful place to have my wedding reception. Alicia was beyond helpful and kind... she never made me feel distrust in the business. Alicia helped my husband and I so much with her patience, support and professionalism. My husband and I got the majestic package which really does include everything (limo, photography, video, food, cake, centerpieces etc.) and it was the best decision we have made. The DJ (DJ Pedro) was amazing!! His taste in music diversity was on another level. The MC Yvette was so kind and organized. The bartender was very knowledgeable, quick and funny. I choose this place for my daughter's wedding because the venue was all inclusive and the price was within our budget. Iris was great but when she left and Maria took over it all went to shit. Maria does not write down any information, she confuses customer calls, we had issues with the food tasting as well. There is no accountability when they're at fault, Maria has never said sorry when she has messed up. Her excuse is "I have too many people calling it's confusing." This place needs more staffing and better management because this is ridiculous. My daughter hasn't even had her wedding yet and the way the Jubilee runs does not but us at ease. Some vendors particularly the DJ, Pedro, he doesn't even answer your calls or emails. Communication is horrible. If we could choose another venue we would. Since we chose the perfect package I did have to do some upgrades through the florist and add some of my own decorations. I did have to go to the florist to pick my upgrades for the centerpiece. The bakery was just ok, the cake was not exactly what they had described but it was still pretty. I would recommend either paying for the master of ceremony or having your own. We payed for theirs and she was great. I typed up an order of events that we reviewed the week before. The DJ was just ok. I would have preferred more recent songs played and not electric slide and Cupid shuffle. All in all Jubilee was close convenient and Alicia is very accessible when answering questions, flexible when making changes and easy to work with. read more

My wedding reception was amazing! Most important no one complained about the food! The presentation was on point along with the taste. I thank Alicia for having the patience with my family and I. My MC Yerika was so on point with our combined templates. The DJ Pedro followed my exact temple playlist! I can say although I was my own wedding planner it would help to hire an outside source if you're really into details like myself! Also, the cake was amazing by Ellite Cake Creations in Cooper City! The draping and lighting really set the tone and theme for any bride! Staff was very professional! I decided to go with my own flower vendor and I appreciated it although they have vendors you can bring in or add your own! The open bar is a must! Bathrooms were clean! Staff was very hands on with timing and cleanliness! And I also used my own photographer only because I was very specific on what I wanted! I chose this place because I attended a wedding there 6-7 years ago and was very pleased at every aspect of that wedding. Fast forward to 2021; I was completely disgusted with the services I received. All they are concerned about is money and make no effort to put you in contact with their vendors. The limo company and DJ never answered a phone call or text. The rolls royce overheated during the drive to my wedding. The driver had to shut the car off to prevent it from not starting and on top of that the AC didn't work. I literally had to exit that car and walk through traffic to get into one of the limousines I had to purchase because Maria lied to me about the car services that was supposed to be included in my package. Their most exclusive package (majestic) which is suppose to cover EVERYTHING is complete and utter bullshit. I paid more for everything because what they are contracted for with their vendors are not what any bride would want on her big day. read more

Very nice hall, beautiful decor. That's where the good review ends. I ordered a Bacardi and coke. This was not Bacardi. They fill their liquor bottles with rot gut cheap liquor. Many people at the party noticed this. The only safe bet was to get bottled beer. The main course was so awful, yellow rice, au gratin potatoes and poached rubber chicken. Betty Crocker makes a better au gratin. The chicken had no flavor and the rice was cold. The family paid $50 pp for this event and it was nowhere near worth it. We had our daughter's Sweet 16 Party there and it was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The room is lovely and decorated beautifully. The price was reasonable. We had our party on Sunday night so we selected the Sunday package and it was just right. We were allowed to bring in our own appetizers and they served them for us. The only downsides were, there is no dressing room, so we used the restroom for my daughter to do her finishing touches to her makeup and make her entrance. Also, a lot of the payment had to done in cash and I was caught a little off guard by that. Our package included the cake and it was delicious. Kudos to Alicia, Albert, Laura, and Pedro. They were really very nice and helpful advice they all did a great job. The bartender was excellent, I'm sorry I don't remember her name. Everyone really liked her and she handled the teenagers without breaking a sweat. I would recommend this place for a party. read more

My event at Jubilee was a few weeks back. It was my daughter's sweet 16. Alicia the manager was extremely helpful. The place was beautiful but I had another theme and needed to change things around and they were extremely accommodating . The DJ was ok, I've heard better DJ's. The food was good, but a little cold. The photographer and videographer were wonderful. I just wish that Jubilee had security camera's as cards with money were taken that night. I watched the video from the videographaer and most of the night you could see that not one of my guest went by the card box as they were having too much fun. At the end of the night, one of the servers brought me my daughter's gifts and the cardbox, it was detached. At that moment I did not think to check if any cards were missing. That night I did realize one card was missing and called Alicia right away. Of course she said nothing showed up and nothing had ever been taken before and that sought of thing never happened there. Which from a reliable source told me that was a lie. Things had been taken previous at a lot of parties. A lot of money was taken that night and I am heartbroken that such a beautiful night ended in such a sad situation. I'm a single mom and went beyond and above my means to give my daughter a night she would never forget. Well, we will surely never forget. Jubilee is a beautiful place and nice environment. Just make sure someone in your family is in charge of taking care of the cards as that was my mistake. read more
