Listen, we have lived in Houston for most of our lives so, naturally, we are foodies. We have been searching for a spot that has exceeded our expectations and, i think we found it. The burger is juicy and the bun is soft. The fried chicken sandwich is MASSIVE and could literally feed 2 people, easily. The only thing i would dock them on is the serving size of fries and crispness of them. Although they are homemade, the serving size included about 10 fries. Next time, we will just ask for 2, extra crispy fries. Otherwise, outstanding food. The wait time in line is expected for getting our order HOT and fresh! I would recommend checking your food before you leave, because for the 7TH TIME it has been incorrect. idk why i even try. I went here today, and was told to pull up to wait for my order, someone came out and said that they gave away our food to the car behind us because they thought we left. the communication between the employees is non existent. Good luck getting a refund, because they can't do that right either. total of 30 minutes for absolutely no food and all disappointment. The food was bland and very slow. When. We saw three other cars pull up an get food befor us.

The burger was dry and tasteless. I asked for mayo on my burger but didn't get it. The tots were fried in old oil or something because they left an odd aftertaste in my mouth. $40 for 3 dry burgers, tots and 2 drinks is a bit pricey for uneditable food. Will not be back! read more

The burgers are good. Beware of the super excessive amount of Mayo applied if you ask for Mayo. It was at least 4 times more than required to adequately cover the bun. The fries are so greasy, and yes, I tried them 4 times trying to allow time for improvement. The onion rings and fried pickles are the best I've had in a long time. Beans are delicious. The wait at this location is terrible. Hoping it will improve. My last visit, I was 4 cars from the window and it took almost 40 minutes. I think you would also agree that's too long. You can see a lot of staff in the kitchen, but everyone doesn't look busy. Drove off with my order only to discover no fries when I got home. Went back by and asked for a drink of equal value. The Jucys family always hits it out of the park, have eaten at original location in Tyler , as well as their other location on Old Bullard Rd in Tyler , always good!! So when Palestine opened up it was very nice as this is a lot closer to where we live. We stopped Saturday Oct 7, around 1:00, not super busy, not typical for Jucys, got our food and burgers were off the chain good!! I think the French fries were rushed, as they were a little under cooked, probably due to people waiting . So, I would be happy to wait a few more minutes next time, versus kitchen rushing to serve undercooked fries! Restaurant was very clean as always! read more

I would have loved to have given Jucy's a 5 star as the place was great and when I go to Tyler, I look forward to Jucy's however, ultimately and honestly the interaction with one employee there ruined for my family altogether. Had I written my review yesterday, it would be a one star review, but given the other factors of our experience that would not be fair to the other employees nor Jucy's. The restaurant is great. I was concerned with it being newly opened, and being a Saturday that it would be busy and much to my surprise it wasn't. We took our food to go and even after making the 20 minute drive home the food was still warm enough that it didn't need to be reheated. I'm a picky eater and always check my food before leaving, but because of the extremely bad customer service experience service we had, I didn't. Thankfully though, our order was accurate. The restaurant was clean and the kitchen was well staffed. So, before anyone says to give the girl a break because they were probably short staffed, this was not the case. When our to go order was ready a young blonde girl (looked to be high school age) called my name, and brought my order out to the lobby. My son walked up to her and said the order was his (he was the one that placed the order and gave my name). She looked at him with a disgusted look, walked pasted him, and continued calling my name. My son continued telling him that was his order. She continued ignoring him, looking around the lobby. I finally acknowledged her and told her that the young man behind her was telling her that was his order. She rolled her eyes, turned around, shoved it in his hands, and walked back behind the counter. At first I laughed at the situation and asked my son if that was an ex girlfriend. He said no and that he never met the girl and had no clue who she was. Our Family members met here from out of town and we ate lunch. There was 12 of us total. The place is clean and friendly. The food was fantastic! Try the burgers (different varieties), onion rings, and fried pickles! The staff was very attentive and helpful. We highly recommend this place if your around the Palestine area! read more

ok! i've absolutely had it with this Jucys store! i just bought a patty melt and it is like eating wood! over cooked, tastes line charred meat. I ordered fried green tomatoes that were like eating rubber! i have gone around and around with this store over the last two years. They keep giving more meals to replace the crap food that they are actually selling to the public. I never have any issues with either locations in Tyler, Tx. Below I will post the difference in the food between Palestine Jucy's and the stores in Tyler. This is bad! I've had it! Im done paying premium prices for sub par food because of bad cooking! I am giving the rest of this Patty melt to my dog but I expect that he may choke on it and that is not a joke. This food is not cooked properly, they should be ashamed of themselves. The manager simply stands there and jeeps saying "yes sir, yes sir" and its obvious that she is not listening at all, then offers to make a new order which comes out exactly the same way! Every to-go order I have ever had has been missing something. Two times ago, they completely missed one of the meals. I have always gone in to place to go orders, and I can expect to wait 30-45 minutes for my orders. Im really disappointed in them. FYI, the Dairy Queen in Palestine is the highest rated restaurant in the city, that should tell you something. But actually, the Dairy Queen is pretty good! read more
