My wife called David this morning at 10:59 a.m. to schedule an appointment-showing to see one of his listings at 601 E. 4th Ave., New Lenox, IL. David said he was booked all weekend and would be available on Monday or Tuesday to show the house. My wife told David either Monday or Tuesday was fine. David said he was driving and when he got out of his car he would look at his calendar and reach out to my wife to let her know whether it would be Monday or Tuesday to show us the house and the time he was available for the showing. Per David's request, my wife texted him our names and the property address. David never bothered to extend my wife the courtesy of a return call or text message. Since David never bothered to call us back, as he represented he would do, at 7:46 pm this evening, I called David and when he answered, I gave him my name and politely asked him if if I "was catching him at bad time" and David emphatically and rudely responded "yes you are" and proceeded to be extremely confrontational. It clearly sounded like David was in a loud bar. This is a most unprofessional conduct and response by a realtor who is trying to sell a house for a client. I explained to David that he promised to call or text my wife back re scheduling us to see this property on Monday or Tuesday. David said you're calling me on Friday evening. I said to David I'm calling you in the evening because you represented you would call or text my wife back earlier in the day to schedule a showing and you never called or texted her back. If this was such a bad time for you, David, to take a call, why even answer your phone from a number you clearly don't recognize? David said your wife called me late in the day. First, that's an untrue statement by David, and second it doesn't matter what time she called you during the day as you are realtor and owe your client a fiduciary duty. Great realtors are highly flexible and will often adjust their schedules and field calls in the evening in order to make a sale. Clearly, David, you are not a great realtor. David, you and your client lost a potential sale of the above the property because you couldn't bother to expend 20 seconds to return a call or send a text to schedule a showing and due to your unprofessional conduct, we are no longer interested in doing business with you. David, you completely failed your client, the seller. Your bio states "Buyers can expect an available and accessible agent." Clearly, this representation is nothing but fluff and BS. Your unprofessional conduct was to the detriment of your client (the sellers). You and your client missed an opportunity to sell this house for an all cash deal, no contingencies, close in 30-45 days. If I was in the seller's shoes, I would immediately fire you as the agent. Do better David!

We have asked an insane amount of questions, and a lot were in text at odd hours, and she always responded IMMEDIATELY! Regarding working with other people, she had no problem asking many questions that I would be too nervous/awkward to bring up, whether it be with the sellers (directly to their faces!), the lawyer(s) in email, and even WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES (without us knowing, which saved us a lot of stress) working with the two lawyers, and pushing our lenders to stay on top of our loan process and timing. I knew she was good at the beginning when we were walking through an expensive house, she pointed out the flaws, and finally turned to me and said, "I know you really want a home, but I know I can find you a better place at this price." AND THE VERY NEXT DAY she found our dream home (which was far and away better than the previous house), and we put in an offer that night and it was accepted the next day!!! We just closed on our house yesterday and could not be happier! Thank you for EVERYTHING Kim!!!

Joseph Siwinski is the owner of Lincoln-Way and he is a consummate professional who offers realty and mortgage services in both the state of Illinois and Indiana as well. I knew his wife Annette through MBLO Financing - she provided mortgage and refinancing services to me over 20+ years' time. I had gone the traditional route to sell my home in 2019 and ended up with a horrible realtor who was not at all responsive to my needs. In fact, she pressured me to accept an offer that I did not want to accept and then financing fell through and I had such a bad experience that I just did not a repeat experience. So I called Joe at Lincoln-Way and he was nice as pie. I was concerned about the distance between the realty company and my home but they made every accommodation to come to me. In-person, at my home, we discussed the contract, the details of the timeline, contract offers, closing, etc. I had so many questions. Once I signed the contract, a photographer came to take STUNNING photos. A sign was posted on the lawn, the listing went online on every listing site, and I started getting appointments on an app. I had total control over accepting appointments. My home was under contract within a week - and Joe did assist with the review of the multiple offers that I received. While they did not actually attend the closing, they supported me through the entire life-cycle of the sale. Don't be fooled here - Lincoln-Way is a FULL SERVICE realty company and they offer an immense set of services for a fraction of the cost of a listing agent. What's more, I never felt pressured, and I felt I had total control over every detail of the listing and sale.
