The reason it missed the 5-star mark with me was our waitress was slow to do everything. Even with taking our drink order. Then our food order. The worst was waiting for my final bill. And then she forgot our takeout box for my youngest. I don't know why she didn't have a greater sense of responsiveness with our party of 3, but it was like this the entire duration of our meal on July 25, 2026. It was super frustrating! The other reason I knocked off a star off was because the towel dispenser was depleted in the lone restroom. I had to flag down an employee with drenched hands. THE PROS I called about 20 minutes ahead of time to reserve a table because I knew this brassiere was on the small side. The lady on the phone was courteous and professional. If you have a hot date, I highly recommend reservations particularly in the evening. This seems like that sort of place. When we arrived, I found free street parking a short walk away. We were promptly greeted and seated. To enter the restaurant, you must go inside the Frost Bank tower's lobby, but to exit there is a door just beyond the bar. This place has beautiful, eclectic decor. The bar area was somewhat rounded and has an easygoing, but classy feel to it. THE FOOD The ambiance is what made this a great mother/daughters brunch date. The food sets it apart from the majority of restaurants in this oil industry town. The have East Coast-sourced oysters on the menu! These are far superior to their West Coast counterparts.
