Judy's Donuts has some of the best donuts in town. The quality and taste are always amazing. However, I had a frustrating experience with their menu pricing that I think customers should be aware of. The menu clearly states that a dozen donuts are $19.50, and the photo displayed on the menu includes bar donuts. When I selected bars as part of my dozen, I was told they were not included in that price. What made it worse was the way it was handled. When I politely explained that the bars are shown in the menu photo next to the $19.50 pricing, I was met with a rude response instead of clarification. If certain items like bars are excluded from the dozen price, that needs to be clearly stated on the menu. Showing them in the photo next to the price is misleading. I still love their donuts, but the pricing and communication should be clearer so customers aren't caught off guard. read more

11/15/25 Time for an update! Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Convenient online pick up. I ordered mini jelly donuts and ham & cheese croissant with jalapeño. Paid for it and went to pick it up. Arrived greeted and received! Nice workers and LARGE DELICIOUS variety of donuts, including cute holiday donuts! Safe and clean!! Received order from kind worker & left. There's enough for dinner too! Mini jelly donut was Scrumptious! Great filling too! Ham & cheese croissant with jalapeño was GREAT! Tasty flaky croissant pastry and good amount of ham inside. We got extremely old, dry donuts. We ordered a mixed dozen and every donut we got was rock hard. I don't know what else to say. We got old fashioned, yeast and one apple fritter and among 7 people eating them everyone took one bite, looked around and stopped eating. I never ask for refunds but we actually did this time. Stopped by at about 8am, donuts were fully stocked and looked delicious. There were two workers, both very friendly. I got 1 of each of their old fashioned donut flavors, an apple fritter, 2 glazed donuts, a strawberry cream cheese croissant and a ham & cheese jalapeño croissant, total was about $22 (which I was happy with). I haven't tried everything yet, but the ham/cheese/jalapeño croissant and the blueberry old fashioned donut are amazing! Definitely would be back for just those! read more

The donuts were ok, nothing special. The issue I ran into with this location is the customer service. After ordering for pickup, I realized this was the wrong location so I decided to call Judy's to cancel the order. When I got ahold of the staff they informed me they weren't able to cancel the order and I had to contact DoorDash to cancel. I knew this was a lie because I work at a restaurant and deal with these situations with DoorDash all the time, but I didn't want to argue with the lady and called DoorDash. When I got ahold of DoorDash they told me I couldn't cancel the order because Judy's told them I already picked up the food. This is another lie, I had placed the order maybe 2-3 minutes prior to this conversation. He contacted Judy's and they told him they already threw away the food because I wanted to cancel the order. Again, another lie, why would they throw away donuts if they weren't touched by a customer or spoiled?? At this point I was very frustrated but I decided to go get the donuts as I had already paid for them. When picking up the order I just wanted Judy's to admit they messed up and call it a day but the cashier refused to own up to her mistakes. The donuts were definitely not worth a 40 minute round trip and this whole ordeal could have been easily avoided. My guess is they didn't want to lose the sale so they said I had picked it up so I couldn't cancel my order. I would not recommend this Judy's location to anybody as they are liars and don't care if they inconvenience you for a measly 15 dollars. read more

This place is a ripoff! Don't go here! They charged us $19.50 for a half dozen donuts (listed price was $9.50 plus I got a "large donut" as they called it with a $2.00 surcharge so the total should have been around $12 bucks) and my wife unfortunately paid it before I had a chance to say anything. I used to really enjoy this place but for a few reasons I don't anymore. Almost every single donut is an extra charge like the most basic donut somehow there was an up-charge on and they aren't as fresh anymore. I went in 20 minutes before they closed and they had almost all their donuts (which I understand why) and I wondered what they were going to do with all of them. Toss them? Why would you overcharge me instead of being like hey I don't want to waste all this food when people are hungry here is a good price. I wanted to do something nice for my clinic so I decided to grab some donuts before work. The lady at the front was very sweet and picked out a dozen for me herself. My coworkers loved them, and the one I had (a crunchy, cream-filled chocolate donut) was delicious. Like some of the reviews, I found that they charge above the posted prices. i went a couple weeks ago and ordered a half dozen. they rung me up several dollars above posted price. She said getting sprinkles (not a fancy topping, just basic sprinkles) added a dollar, but when I asked why there was still a discrepancy she said they hadn't updated their sign yet. This is actually considered fraudulent by California retail law. then she quoted me a new 0.50 higher price than she originally charged me. i had a bunch of excited small children with me, so I just paid and left, but I will never go back to a Judy's. read more

I honestly don't know what Judy's does different from any other donut shop but it believe me- IT WORKS. I've been coming here since my boss told me about this one specifically and whenever I need donuts for the office or for a family get together Judy's is where I go. There is a huge difference in quality and taste-no other donut shop has come close in either of those. They do the classics well; my favorite is the jelly filled bites and they never taste any different. They always satisfy a craving! Aside from the taste the shop is in a great location, inside and outside is kempt and desirable, and the people are always friendly whether it's 7am or 3pm. Can't wait to come back! read more

Delicious donuts in a strip mall. We got a variety of donuts and liked each one. What was best was that they had mini donuts so you could try lots of different flavors. Very rude for no reason. They have a fee if you want to use your card if your total is below $5 which is completely fine. I go to the other Judy's on Champlain often and love it. I was on this side of town and stopped by around 4pm. So I am thinking this is why the donuts were balls of grease. I got a maple bar that was inedible. The grease soaked in on all sides into the dough and the maple was peeling off due to the amount of grease. The chocolate bar was also full of grease it soaked the bag through before I got home and made a mess. The cinnamon twist was the only thing that was decent. Seriously I will never go back. The positive posts make me wonder if the donuts are fresher and way better first thing? So be warned... the donuts are terrible at the end of the day. read more

I was very disappointed in this donut shop. I've had the donuts at the office before, so I knew they weren't terrible, but nothing special either. The service is what really lowered my opinion of them. I had agreed to pick up the donuts for the office this time, and was paying with pooled coworker money, so I did not have a budget for splurging. I was greeted promptly but quickly realized the woman helping me did not understand much English as she kept trying to put the wrong donuts in the box. Sometimes something as simple as trying to grab the white icing when I said pink. The younger girl there kept having to translate for her in between helping another customer. $9.95 is already too high for a dozen donuts, but I also found out that there is no surcharge option for specialty donuts. They just charge you separately. The woman tried to explain it to me but the only English she knew was "not included" to which the younger girl translated that the donuts I had picked (maple bacon) would be $2.25 each in addition to the dozen. And when I clarified if that meant I would be getting 14 donuts she said "yeah, you could do it that way." As if she was not going to mention that and let me walk out of there paying an extra $4.50 for 2 less donuts than I was entitled to. I told them to put them back since I was not paying with my own money and got plain maple bars instead. Overall, the donuts are good enough to eat, but I won't be picking them up again nor will I be going there for weekend donuts with my family. It sounds like they have plenty of other fans to spend money there despite their bad service.
