There was a decent variety of options here considering how small the store is. I noted some preferred designers that they happened to have and helped me focus on those areas when I was picking ones to try on. Jenna was the one who assisted for my actual try ons. I opted to go alone so it was nice that she was giving me good feedback without being pushy. She paid attention to what I liked about certain dresses and ultimately recommended a few other dresses that had them. My dress ended up being one Jenna added for me! It was perfect because I was debating between something super classic vs romantic and she knew immediately that she could find me something in the middle. I got alterations done here as well as my veil. Altogether I was able to stay within my budget, though alterations were definitely a bit pricier which I know is common. Monika their seamstress was also great at giving me recommendations on what would look good without me really overthinking it. After my wedding I came back to get my dress preserved. I brought in some brand new pants that I bought from another store to get the length altered, and…read morethe employee told me I had to get them dry cleaned first. I explained that I had already washed them and that I've brought multiple pairs of pants and other clothes here for alterations before and was never told I had to do that. The employee basically just gave me the same response. One of the people who had actually altered my pants before was standing right behind us and didn't say anything either. If that's actually part of their policy, I get it and have no problem with that. What bothered me was that there really wasn't any explanation as to why, especially when I've had alterations done here multiple times before without being told this. I also looked online afterwards and couldn't find anything on their website saying clothes have to be dry cleaned before alterations, only that the garment needs to be clean. I just would have liked an explanation as to why it was different this time. I also didn't really like how the rest of the situation played out. When I was leaving, I could hear them murmuring something behind me and then heard a few giggles. I don't know what they were talking about, but it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I've had really good experiences with other employees here before, so I'm not saying everyone at this location is like that. I just didn't have a good experience with these particular employees and left feeling pretty upset about the whole interaction. This happened Friday, August 28th, around 4:30-5:00 PM.
