Came here today for the first time and my experience was pretty good. My coworker has been here many times and today she dragged me along. I didn't know what to expect at first but once I arrived I embraced the atmosphere and knew I should order something. The bright lights and open space did it for me. I ordered the Citrus Super C which taste likes a glass of orange juice on steroids. It had me at hello. It was very refreshing. I highly recommend this drink. I got a little lost exploring Fulton Street and its' busy financial center and I happen to walk by here by chance. I decided to walk in and try their Acai bowl and I was in love. The Almond Butter Bliss bowl was delicious. I remember getting it twice in one day because I was thinking to myself. Who knows when I'll be back here? I think I tried the the Almond Butter Bliss Bowl and the PB Acai Bowl. A bowl is around $12 but so worth it. I've never really been into Acai bowls until I had one here and now that I'm back in California, I still have yet to find another Acai bowl I loved. Ordered the Watermelon Dragon with no cherries since I'm allergic. I drank a little bit and started to notice my throat feeling tight (allergic reaction to certain fruits - cherries and apples included). I went back and made sure there's no cherries and guy said no cherries, then i asked if apples are made in the same juicer, he said the watermelon is run through the same juicer. He asked if I wanted a different one or a new one, which they would clean out the juicer for me. Since i liked the watermelon dragon, i asked for the same. He made me a new one and told me to let them know before hand what I'm allergic to so they can clean out the juicer. Lesson learned! I was looking for a light healthy lunch and after about 30 minutes of wondering around ended up at Juice Generation. I ended up getting their Maki Rolls - raw, vegan and gluten free "sushi" rolls. These were delicious!!! The wasabi micro greens packed a punch, I definitely have to find these in the grocery store. I also got a warm Ginger Fix drink, hold the agave. It was really tasty and a great coffee alternative. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because for $16 this was a very very light lunch. Staying a block away for medical treatment, and this place is a godsend. I can't eat, but I can drink juice! The Daily Detox and the Tropical Lust have helped me bounce back from each treatment--so delish and fresh and hydrating. I want to take them home with me. Luckily, I can take some! Juice Generation is is my opinion one of the best juice options in Manhattan. Whether it is fresh cold pressed juice or a smoothie they nail it every time. What distinguishes them from so many other places is that they are not using powders of questionable origin. Real fruit and veggies cut up in front of you. Sometimes the line is long but is moves quickly so long as there are no nitwits being indecisive in front of you. The employees here are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The space is well lit and inviting. Compare this to some of the other so-called juice places and it is not even close. They also have healthy non-juice options as well. If you are really into ti the have their juice cookbook for sale for home juicing. If you are really into it they have a one day juice cleanse which encompasses 6 bottles for $54. Drink every two hours and consume no food. I tried it and surprisingly wasn't hungry. My only wish is that you could adjust the six pack which is set. The last one of the day is really chalky and gross to me. Prices are steep but you get what you pay for. So give it a try I think you will really be glad you stopped in. read more

After going for years and spending thousands of dollars here and at their other locations as well - I need to write a review. I come here almost every day and sometimes the fruit is a bit off. However, I just recently got an acai bowl for $12 and the strawberries were completely rotten. Since I get it to go this happened when I already got to work. So I emailed customer service. They email me back and ask for the location. So I tell them it's the Wall Street Branch. Then days go by and nothing. Then I get the below response. "I have informed the manager of our Maiden Lane location of this issue. He has made it a point to address your experience with our staff along with reviewing quality control for products. Please know that if you are ever unhappy with your order at the time of purchase, let our staff know who will be more than happy to remake it for you! Thank you for your valued feedback!" So let me get this straight - I need to eat the food immediately in the store and see if it's rotten? So they can make me another with more rotten food. I'm pregnant - should I be the taste tester and risk losing my child!?! I told them they need to refund my bowl and still have heard nothing. I will not be back. By far my favorite juice generation location. This location has several bar stools and ample outside seating. Never a line, and staff is always accommodating with my sons quirky order.
