My first time at one of NYCs favorite little franchises. This place located in the heart of soho is extremely spacious with tons of seating, tables, and (semi-reliable) wifi, making it one more stop for all the NYC cafe workers looking for a new open area of try. Honestly quite shocked to see a cafe so spacious in the area. The lighting toward the back can get a bit dim which may be some people's preferred ambiance. I arrived here at 9am on a cold Friday and the store was near empty. At the time there were only a few people in store, the staff was patient with my order. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a Greek yogurt. Maybe this is a franchise shared experience or just limited to a location, but the sandwiches feel like they could use more filling and the bread is a bit too burnt crispy. Had mixed feelings and I did even pay a little extra for cheese. Personally not a big fan of the sandwiches here. Also the Greek yogurt bowls are nothing too different than your typical Greek yogurt. While not pictured, I did feel like only half my bowl was filled, somewhat disappointing. Overall, this is a great place to sit down and study for the vibes but I do feel that the food and snacks themselves were a bit overpriced and not particularly appealing. read more

The manager was disgusting because I brought a little dog who was just out of surgery on reade street hospital and needed to rest. She had stitches removed. She was laying on my coat not touching his furniture Ahd he accused me of having the dog in the furniture!!! She never touched his furniture. I paid a lot of money for a small amount of juice and cake!!! 16.00 And yet because of the dug I was treated poorly. I have a service certificate for the dog!!!! It was a hot day in SoHo. We stopped at Joe and the Juice to get something to drink. Quite the crowd here. Staff were fast to serve. We ordered the carrot juice with turmeric. It tasted so good. It was chilled and the turmeric gave it an extra boost. I felt energetic after drinking this. Only drive if you have nerves of steel. It is much better to take public transport, rideshare, or taxi here. read more

There was no line when I arrived, but the staff were busy chatting instead of making orders. They forgot my drink in the mixer, served another customer who walked up after me, and I ended up waiting 20-30 minutes for just one juice and one sandwich. Really poor service and no sense of urgency, especially during the morning rush. read more

I LOVE Joe & the juice! I am a fan of some of their drinks, but a HUGE fan of their sandwiches and always tell people to try them. I prefer their gluten free bread, but the rye bread is also great. The club sandwich is my favorite, the turkey sandwich with added avocado is also up there. I believe the quality of hospitality has lowered a bit but you still get good vibes in some of their locations. I will continue to visit them whenever in the city. I love a good pressed juice to start my day.. how about you? My juice of choice is a combination of spinach, apple, pineapple and ginger. It's healthy, gets my juices flowing and its delicious. I've been to a couple of Joe & The Juice locations, Bryant Park and West Broadway. Now that I'm working in Soho, my staff told me that's is a location near us on Spring Street. Today, I decided to drop by and pick up a pressed juice. First off, this is one of the nicest J & J I've visited by far. It is spacious, lively and a great place to visit in the morning to just pick up a bite or do work: there is a nice quiet area in the back to do so. I reviewed the menu, there is the usual breakfast items, eggs, croissants etc and açaí bowls. There is also a nice selection of vegan options.I stayed focused on my pressed juice. I picked Green Sport which contained apple, pineapple, lemon, ice and olive oil. I added a shot of ginger. Downright delicious and healthy. With winter coming soon it is important to move, stay hydrated and juiced up with veggies and fruits. I know J & T J will help me achieve a healthy balance! Stopped by while I was shopping in the area. Convenient location, nice ambiance, spacious. Service is about average. Ordered an acai bowl and sadly falls close to the bottom of my list (bottom of list being the sour, frozen, disappointing bowls from Jamba Juice). I don't know who's idea it was to put peanut butter in a bowl but it was a miss for me - didn't make any sense, ate around it and tossed it at the end. The granola had too many textures and if I remember correctly parts were a bit chewy for my preference. I would probably pass moving forward. read more

Also a place that serves healthy juices, lattes, and caffeine beverages. Very spacious location and good if you want to trudge away from the crowded neighboring Starbucks on Spring St. Always has a good amount of seating if exhausted from the long hours of shopping in the Soho area. Good place, decent tasting sandwiches for those on a health kick, and even a good sized clean bathroom for the weary shoppers too. The tastes of the sandwiches are fine but can be a bit pricey even if you add a drink to your lunch. Yo, people warned me that New York gets hot, but I didn't think it would still be that hot in September. It still was. Not every establishment has AC either, but Joe & The Juice, thanks to the overpriced healthy juice, some of the profit goes back to providing us AC. It's a chain, but you need chains to have guaranteed AC. This location is nice because it's spacious and busy enough that you can just come in, take a seat and cool off for a bit before ordering anything without anybody noticing. I'd give this a 3/3.5 overall. I ordered Joe's AMG (apple mint ginger) with some lemon added. I believe I paid about $8/8.50 for a small What works: -- juice was very good! It was definitely on the sweet side and could've used a little more lemon and mint to balance it but I liked it -- staff was friendly and helpful -- lots of seating available -- restroom available for customers (and doesn't need a key or code) What didn't work: -- the music was way too loud! It almost felt like I was in a club, it was a struggle to communicate with the staff due to the music and it made being inside unpleasant -- it's pricey. The juice was good but I'm not so sure that it's good enough to justify the price, especially when the ingredients are really simple -- it was busy and it took a while to get my drink, definitely over 5 minutes. Not terrible but just something to keep in mind if you're short on time I'd consider returning for one of their more unique items/one that I can't easily make at home but due to the price I can't imagine myself regularly getting a juice here read more

This is one of the largest joe and the juice locations I've ever been too. They have a deep restaurant /cafe space and lots of open area and tables so ideally a great space to study or meet up with someone casually for a smoothie / coffee. I tried the spicy tuna sandwich which was essentially just tuna with what tasted like canned peppers. It was not "spicy" but also nothing special that I would venture to try again. The tunacado still reigns supreme. I got the red booster smoothie which was $12 but had lots of texture and flavor and was definitely satiating. I prefer the shake/ smoothies over the juices as the juice is very watery and extremely filtered down. For two people with food and drinks expect to be paying about $40 which is a lot!! Was excited to try the tunacado, hate to say it's kind of overrated. I tried the original and the spicy version. There wasn't much avocado on either and the bread was a little soggy. Maybe my expectations were just too high because of social media, but it just didn't feel like it was worth all the hype. Spacious and up beat music; made a welcoming atmosphere for me. The prices we're a tad high for juice and coffee; then again Starbucks is too. The cappuccino my gf ordered was a total disappointment and so was the brownie. The açaí bowl was poorly done and the bananas in it were pretty much no good and the chocolate whatever goes inside it was truly hard as a rock. Blueberry muffin and banana bread were amazing! I couldn't provide a 5 star or 3 star review so I'm going with a 4; maybe next time it's better. The customer service was excellent. read more
