Lightly marinated served with peanut and cucumber sauce. Delicious by itself but the sauces were excellent. I enjoyed the Tom Kha Soup with chicken and the Green Curry with chicken. In any event I intermittent fast and I hadn't eaten so we stopped here on the way back. It's not the most promising looking place on the outside, it's fairly generic, not to mention the generic name. But inside it's cute and clean. The menu is a a good size with lots of options. I ordered the chicken satay and the papaya salad. I can't remember what my wife had but it was good. The satay was nice and not covered in gooey marinade. It was delicate and delicious. The papaya salad was huge and I ended up having it for multiple meals. I ordered medium which turned out to be pretty fiery but delicious. While I've found plenty of good Vietnamese I haven't liked too many of the Thai places here. This is an exception. And now I see that they have a second branch on Nob Hill which is near my house which is great.

I saw these guys on instagram and I just had to try it! I love a good smash burger. Me and my dad…read morepopped over in the blazing heat just to try it. My dad grabbed the classic smash with a chicharron. My brother went with the 505 green chili burque smash. When I saw the other sandwiches on separate posters by the order window I was torn between the 505 or the Al Gueye Lucy. I asked the cashier which one they thought was better and they suggested the Al Guey Lucy smash. I said orale! Let's do it! We sat at the tables under the tent. It was nice shade for such a hot afternoon. The burgers were out hot n fresh! The Lucy was juicy with just the right amount of spice! It had a zesty kick you just can't forget. I absolutely loved it! My dad and brother enjoyed theirs as well. The fries reminded me of the fries at Bob's Burgers. They were really good! Overall it was a great experience! I'll definitely be returning! No mames! Si! Even though it is a food truck, it has a good seating space with good shade. The service was good, especially when the cook brought our food, personally. They were even concerned that our food was going to be too spicy . Speaking of the food, I ordered the Korean Chicken Boss and the Hellfire Crunch sandwiches with fries. The Korean was a bit tangy and a bit sweet with a good piece of perfectly breaded chicken. The Hellfire was a bit spicy but not overwhelming. Both were messy but it can be contained if you are skillful. The fries were crispy and quite good Overall, I was glad we finally found No Mames, as they made us feel quite welcomed and their food was quite good. Next time, those smash burgers will be on our list!
